Absolutely love having L and M in the neighborhood. They’ve gotten me out of many a jam when I realized I needed something to complete prep for brunch with friends, or needed an ice cream fix, etc. :-) It’s not the most glamorous of stores, but I love the character and the fact that it’s been a staple for so long. This is one midtown resident that is very happy to have small, locally owned stores like this!

Roll up, walk up, step in, take it out, however you want it. It’s that easy. Enormous beer selection and apparently other things that you’d get at a convenience store. Friendly people work here, open late. It’s like an oasis for convenient things in a neighborhood of homes.

Definitely tucked away in the heart of midtown. Located right next to world renowned Studio Oliver hair salon and beauty bar. L&M has a great selection of wines and craft beers as well as daily necessities. There’s also a great dry cleaner /laundry mat around the corner.

An extremely convenient market right in the middle of the midtown neighborhood! I have been to L&M so many times when I didn’t feel like getting in the car. Prices are definitely higher than a grocery store, but that is why it is a convenience store! The owner has been the same ever since I have been in Atlanta and he is extremely friendly. They have a good beer and wine selection(for a convenience store). They have my Sweetwater IPA so I am happy. Thank goodness it is in the midtown neighborhood!

I love living a few meters from this place. It’s a lovely addition to 30308. It’s convenient to walk to, and there is a pretty decent selection of things for purchase. The prices will be a bit higher than you’re used to at the grocery. But, it is a CONVENIENCE store after all… The owner, Richard is a pretty nice guy. He remembers you, and shows that he appreciates your business. L & M has most everything you’d need in a pinch. Tons of snacks, but also drinks, milk, and some basic grocery items. It is hard to know the place exists, as it’s smack dab in the middle of a residential area. If you live anywhere between Charles Allen, Juniper, 3rd and 7th Streets, you should check this place out.
