I was satisfied with Dr Smith services and I stayed with him for about a year. I had several crown issues that needed to be worked on. However I left because his location was just not convenient for us.
He is the official dentist for the Braves that is pretty neat.
He is a very nice Dentist. He was always so careful and made sure I was not in pain, although sometimes I was I could tell he felt bad.
There were a few things that made me leave:
–The cost, I felt is was on the high side but perhaps because the location is in midtown. But even the cleaning my insurance wouldn’t cover the whole amount and we would get bills to pay the balance. I felt that was odd because every other dentist that I have ever been to I’ve never received a bill to cover charges for routine cleaning that insurance wouldn’t pay. For more complicated matters like crowns, cosmetic procedures, etc. I get insurance wouldn’t cover all but a routine cleaning that’s unheard of. I spoke to the billing person about this an she said it was normal to have to pay a little bit more. Well not in my experience and I told her if Dr Smith charges were so high I’d have to find another dentist. She didn’t seemed concern. Anyway I did find a new dentist in Brookhaven who is just as good but does not charge extra for cleaning.

Dr. Smith suffers from one of the «best» conditions to affect dentists and plastic surgeons… OCD… He is not happy until you look and feel perfect. I have gone to Dr. Jeffrey Smith (999 Peachtree — 10^th and Peachtree), since being referred to him for an emergency abscess 15 years ago. Since then, I have gone to him for everything from cleanings to veneers. He and his staff are courteous and conscientious. Though his prices can be steep (read: pricey for non-​routine services), you get what you pay for and his office staff will file insurance claims on your behalf. If my recommendation alone isn’t enough, then get this, he has treated 4-​out-​of-​5 members of my immediate family (and my mom, a physician, schedules appointments to see him whenever she comes to visit me from Denver… he is that good). Trust me, (in spite of his website, which needs an overhaul), he is the best. Period. Call him.

Myy family and I have have known Dr. Smith for over 21 years. We have been his patients ever since. We can honestly say that there is no better, more professional and caring dentist anywhere ! We have had fillings, crowns and cleanings performed at his office.
He is a true perfectionist. He calls after certain procedures to make sure that we are alright. he always return phone calls after hours.
My family and I highly recommend him !!

I have been going to Dr. Smith for about 9 years now, and have consistently been impressed by his skill and the kindness and professionalism of his staff. He has replaced several old crowns for me, and crowned a tooth that was a likely candidate for root canal (huge, deep filling). So far, no root canal needed. I’ve had several other dentists, one whose work had to be re-​done, and can’t say enough good things about Dr. Smith.

I have been a patient of Dr. Smith’s for over four years and he is one of the best dentists I have encountered. He along with his staff are very friendly and professional. He is a perfectionist and takes his time to make sure everything is right, never rushing on to the next patient. Every procedure has been followed up at home with a phone call to make sure everything is ok. You don’t find many people in business like Dr. Smith, especially a dentist, he is one of the best.

Maybe this is just a rule with dentists and doctors in general, but make sure to know exactly how much it is going to cost before you get anything done. Be wary of the $ 100 service discounted from $ 295 to $ 225.

Dr. Smith has done two fillings and two crowns for me and all the work has turned out great! One of the crowns is on a lower front tooth. I was worried that it would look weird or be noticeable, but it looks perfect. My husband even had to ask which tooth was the one that was crowned.
His front desk and dental assistants are also wonderful and put me right at ease.
