Unlike most bubble tea purveyors, we brew fresh tea hourly! Proof is our amazing aroma as soon as you walk in! Our bubble tea is made with the best ingredients we can find.

We are the only bubble tea shop in the country that offers your choice of 5 milks for your crafted tea. Almond milk, Coconut Milk, Organic Soymilk, 2% Lactose free Lacxtaid milk, or Whole Fresh Milk! Each and every drink is custom tailored to your taste.

We offer amazing Parisan Style Macarons from the celebrated Alons bakery in Virginia Highlands such as Green Tea, Black Currant, Espresso, and Salted Caramel. Our freshly baked cupcakes are made with love from the local favorite Maes Bakery. Our Gelato is locally made by HoneySuckle Gelato in an array of flavor profiles such as Earl Grey and Maple Bacon!

We offer a relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for friends, family, a study session or even business meeting. A private conference room, Wifi, and nightly Kung Fu movies projected onto a wall make Honey Bubble a perfect home.

Many people come to Honey Bubble and cannot believe we are a 2 person start up! yes we are sleek, clean, modern and organized… BUT We are NOT a chain or franchise! We are an Atlanta born creation of an Interior Designer and a Tea fanatic.

Mei who is an avid tea expert teamed up with HGTV Celebrity Interior Designer Doug Hines to create Honey Bubble Tea Emporium.

«We have made a list of things that we would improve upon from visiting Coffee houses and Bubble Teas shops in our travels.

From unhealthy ingredients, poor service, high prices and unwelcoming design. The list became what Honey Bubble would do differently.

Honey Bubble focuses on its handcrafted drinks. Quality is something that cant be faked».

We decided to outsource our hand chosen baked items from the best Bakers in Atlanta. Our Gelato is also first class. We think you will enjoy!

Everyone was very nice loved the venue. At first I was bothered by the lack of parking I looked at the door and it stated more parking was on the side of the building… Cool. Love the flavors they have Ginger.

I’ve finally found my heaven and place of solitude. Fresh tea. Of all kinds. Comfy chairs and sofas, amazing ice cream, annnnnd decent matcha. Great atmosphere, awesome prices (finally somewhere in America that acts like the rest of the world — tax included in price!!!), amazing quality of tea, and you can smell the fresh teas being brewed. I think I’m in heaven.

Drink: Honey Lavender Bubble Tea
The milk tea is fantastic! Not too watery — a great balance of concentrated, brewed black tea and quality milk. I asked for honey and lavender for added flavor and it’s perfect.
The tapioca pearls are also the best I’ve had in Georgia thus far. Not powdery, too mushy, or stiff. I love that it’s chewy in consistency and infused with honey & a dash of brown sugar.
Better than Boba Mocha hands down. Again, the best in Georgia so far. Quality, taste, service, atmosphere. Everything is great.

Okay, now that was some fantastic milk tea. And the tapioca was perfect. Just perfect. I got a large one, expecting I could nurse the thing along and make it last a while. It was simply too good. I inhaled it. Gone in a fraction of the desired time, and here I am wanting more. But what will I do with two milk teas in my system? Yikes!
Honey Bubble is nested in a cozy little «corner» shop on Ponce. The insides are comfortable, with darker colors, some Asian-​themed decorations, free wifi, and a friendly staff behind the counter serving up your order quickly and with a smile. There’s also a small selection of baked goods, and some gelato, too. Oh, and there appear to be some tea-​making paraphernalia and Japanese-​style snacks for sale, too. The music is subdued and chill. The prices are quite affordable. (And tax appears to be included in the posted price.)
But let me once again extoll the virtues of their Signature Royal Milk Honey Bubble Tea (with double tapioca). Simply delicious. I’ll happily come back for more of that. Holler if you’re coming with.

I went to a wedding in Atlanta. The morning before driving out, I stopped here for bubble tea.
The service is great. The bubbles aren’t bad (I should’ve gotten jelly) and the tea was really tasty.
I really love the way the space was laid out. It seemed efficient to me and there was a back room which would be good for reading, studying, or playing a board game! :D I look forward to coming back here if I’m in Atlanta again.

A trip to Honey Bubble is like Disney World.
You look forward to it all day long. You plan out in your head exactly what you want to try. Parking is awful, but always worth it to open the door and smell the fresh smell of boba. Sometimes I get stuck with sassy cashiers, but sometimes I get some as sweet as the little macaroons themselves.
There’s no comparison to this bubble tea. It’s as wonderful as their Instagram feed. The competition really doesn’t stand a chance of the thick rich taste of their milk teas (sorry Sweet Hut and Rustic Couch). Hoping they open new locations soon.
At the end of the day it’s the most magical place in Atlanta.
p. s. I miss seeing the owner and her little son with his big binders doing homework. Bring him back!

Stopped by here last night with a friend after Honey Bubble was recommend by a friend-​of-​a-​friend to come here. First, I’m glad the owner includes the tax. Where I am from almost all of the businesses do this, it’s just smart business. Us gentlemen don’t walk around with change purses, as a business owner, who wants to lose clients over some pocket change? It’s business common sense and just practical, plus it makes paperwork much easier to do.
The inside of Honey Bubble is very retro, I love the style. Yesterday a Bruce Lee movie was playing by the long couch. I felt it to be very comfortable. The staff here are nice. They also have a conference room here that seems to be popular. A group of ladies were having a meeting in there and within 60 seconds of leaving a birthday party group walked in.
On with the bubble tea. I used to live in Shanghai, though I traveled all through China. I like to think I know boba tea, I drank it literally daily, granted it was only 3 – 4 RMB (0.47−0.63 cents), here it is $ 4 for a medium and 5 bucks for a large, so of course that’s a huge price difference. Drinking Boba tea in China is like drinking water and it becomes addicting. Honestly though since coming back to the states I have not been able to find good quality boba tea like I found in Shanghai. Now, after coming to Honey Bubble I’d like to say I found some almost just as good. Now that’s a major compliment!!!
Honey Bubble has all different types of boba tea, which is perfect for the boba tea/​pearl milk tea newbie. Though personally I think the royal milk tea is the classic, the true authentic version that one will find throughout China/​Taiwan that is made with black tea, condensed milk, tapioca pearls and honey/​syrup.
If you are a world traveler and appreciate the true boba tea, this is the place for you.

This is my favorite place to get bubble tea in Atlanta. There are the occasional consistency issue with people making the teas, otherwise, it would be five stars. They have such a huge selection of flavors to choose from, my favorite is taro, which apparently is the hardest to make, and maybe why the consistency isn’t there. They also sell bakery items from Alon, which is one of my favorite places as well. The atmosphere of this place is great. There are plenty of tables to sit and chat with friends, or have a work pow wow. Parking out front is a bit squeezed, but they do have parking in the back as well!

Definitely a top choice for me when it comes to boba. Compared to Sweet Hut, I’d probably come here if I were craving boba.
This place can be easy to miss. It’s just past the Whole Foods – maybe about 2 blocks down. Parking is limited in the front, but if you go around back, there is a gravel parking lot that has plenty of space.
There’s a large variety of options to choose from. I always get the Signature Royal Milk Tea. Keep in mind you can customize your drink, i.e. half sweet, half ice, etc. etc. Be sure to ask for boba (the pearls) if you want them. Note, their creamers are non-​dairy, so fear not all lactose-​intolerant people.
The ambience is very hip. They have small tables to sit at and chat, and a few sofas as well. There’s an auxiliary room that you can reserve. It has a large conference meeting table. Most often I see people just working in there. It is much quieter in that room, so it would be a good place to sit and study.

Decent bubble tea. They have more unique offerings than some other shops such as lavender, pistachio, and lychee, and also distinguish between milk tea and clear tea. Mixing flavors will cost you 75 cents extra. It’s pricier than its competitors though, with a medium at $ 4 and a large at $ 5 — I would need to try it again to determine if it’s worth the extra dough.
Interior is trendy and seems better suited for meeting up with friends than studying, but depends on your preferences when doing work.

This little spot is awesome! Super modern, chill relaxed atmosphere with a very diverse group of people constantly coming in. It is different than any coffee/​tea/​whatever it is. You just have to go. It’s not too expensive, their prices include the tax already so you know what you’re buying. There are couches to relax on, study, read, or catch up with friends. It all seems very natural too– which makes me like it more.
I tried a snowcap slushy that was kiwi strawberry. It was delicious. I studied here for probably three hours and enjoyed it! I will definitely be back

I’m not a fan of tapioca pearls in my tea, but this is a top notch tea place and also quite a pleasant place to drink tea.
What I liked:
1) The passionfruit iced tea is really superb. absolutely delicious
2) I like the broad menu of tea options, hot and cold, and the ability to spice them up with things like tapioca pearls and other stuff.
3)Staff are nice
4) plenty of seating and easy to find parking
What could be better
1) They went a bit overboard with the tapioca pearls. Felt more like eating the tea rather drinking the tea. Should have fewer pearls so you have some but not in every sip.

This place is awesome because they have so many real teas to choose from. A lot of times it’s just an Oolong with various flavorings then fruit-​type «teas». This place has various black teas, oolongs, and green teas to include Rooibos and Pu-​Erh.
I got the Pu-​Erh and it was steeped perfectly and prepared to my instructions — dig it. My compatriots like their teas but they said they got too much boba… whereas I didn’t think I got very much boba so maybe a little inconsistency on the boba input but otherwise awesome.
People seem to like it as it was pretty busy but we got our drinks in decent time.

Affordable, great tasting, wonderful ambiance, friendly staff, great selection, free wifi!
Great place to come for bubble tea, ice cream or desserts! Great ambiance that is clean and nicely decorated. They don’t make their tea’s super sweet so for all your sweet tooth be prepared! I personally loved my tea! Lots of seating available.

When I first parked at honey bubble a couple of years ago, I thought to myself «Oh look another boba place has opened up…» but as I walked inside the boba magic unfolded. Honey Bubble is awesome! It’s not just another boba place. They don’t even sell pastries. Unless they are macaron’s from Alon’s Bakery. Wait, are macarons pastries? Whatever, they’re both sweets. They have lots of options drink-​wise at Honey Bubble. You choose a flavor tea, a type of milk (Soy, Lactaid-​free, and one other choice), and you choose what toppings you would like. And bam! Your drink is awesome. That only covers their milk teas though. They have smoothies, slushies, coffee, a couple of unique lattees like red velvet, and lots of different flavors to add to green tea as well. They also have gelato and free ice caps which are like snow bowl cones when you use your scoutmob. We tried the chocolate banana flavor which was awesome.
This is also a fun place to hangout. They play chill, ambient music. It’s easy to study. They have lots of outlets. And lots of cool diverse people hanging out there from hipsters to nerds to businessmen. The staff is really nice and it is in Atlanta so it is conveniently located on Ponce near Virginia Highlands, Old Fourth Ward, Midtown, Downtown, Druid Hills, and other surrounding neighborhoods.

Love! I can’t get enough bubble tea, and when I moved to Atlanta, I was unsure if I would find a good bubble tea place close to me. To my surprise, I just discovered this place a couple of weeks ago, and I’m glad I did! Better later than never.
There is a small parking lot outside. The tea shop is pretty spacious inside and it’s a cool place to just hang out. The few times that I’ve gone, I’ve gotten the honey jasmine green tea with boba. It’s very refreshing and I enjoy it a lot. The boba has a good consistency of chewy. The service is pretty good and they’re quick about their drink orders. The two things I wish they had were: 1) loyalty cards (don’t think I saw these when I’ve gone) and 2) the options to get less sugar or less ice like many other bubble tea shops have.

What can I say bad about Honey Bubble? Nothing! What can I say good about Honey Bubble? Lots!
For starters, people that don’t consume dairy (me) will rejoice in knowing that their milk tea can be made with not only dairy milk, but a variety that includes coconut milk, almond milk, etc. — freaking A! :) Right on, HB! Their tapioca pearls are all around well made. I didn’t notice any inconsistency with some being harder than others which is a definite plus.
Their staff were most helpful my first time in the shop to let me know the variations. Thanks!
As I continue to venture here and get my bubble tea fix, this place will likely see a 5 star review from me in the near future.
