I work at Colony Square and I come here only when my craving for a burger outweighs my disdain for this place. They are slow as Christmas and their burgers are extremely greasy and expensive. Today my burger came out nothing like I ordered and the employee wanted to argue with me about it(and then messed up the order of the person behind me too). I would love to see this place go and a better burger place move in.

Breakfast! BYOB serves breakfast for the morning crowd. I had the Herbivore omelet. I believe that they used real eggs(not the dreck that comes in a carton) and the fillings were fresh. The omelet was cooked perfectly… not overcooked at all. BYOB is in a food court. There’s no dedicated seating or stuff that a full restaurant would have. It was fast, clean, healthy, friendly and inexpensive.

I love this little place. I have mostly got breakfast but recently also tried their burgers. I enjoy both a lot. Sure, it isn’t high end and it isn’t trying to be. It is also not priced high end. They’re fast, fresh and flexible. The burger was one of the juiciest and best mid-range burgers I have had in quite awhile and cost a mere $ 7.25 with fries. Very good food at a great value. I’m kind of wanting a burger there now.

Working across the street, colony square screams for a decent grab and go place like BYOB. It is adequately customizable friendly take out place. The food is not that fast in delivery but hey i understand cooking to order takes time. Breakfast was a tad bit greasy, but i prefer fresh eggs made in front of me to a dry sponge served at other surrounding places. They do not shy from seasoning and the food is piping hot in a good way. I like that i have options for my cheese and am not getting mystery rainbow shreds in the name of cheese. The owner is a very friendly lady and i love to see a smiling face greeting customers in the morning. I did grab a few veggie sides during lunch and they are beautifully cooked, nicely seasoned and made to order. I would definitely recommend them. I have not tried the burgers but my colleagues had positive things to say about them. I hope unlike other places that inexplicably disappear from colony squrare, this place sticks around.

This place has a good selection of vegetarian options for those who are not the most carnivorous. There is a garbanzo bean burger, black bean burger, and zucchini burger if you want to mix it up. I especially love Kim(the owner) and Moses(the cook) who are very friendly and always greet me with a smile. Because they make the food with care, it may take a little longer than most fast food places,

Working a job in midtown, decided to walk over to Colony Square for lunch. Now Colony Square is one of those work live play type places. It looks kinda like a prison with a mall on the bottom. Ugly walls, peeling paint on the walls and ceilings(ok, not a lot of that. and to be fair it is on the upper floors.) so that takes away from the mall feel a little bit, BUT, there’s hardly anyone here at lunch so it’s a good place to run in and grab somethin. Anyway, back to BOYB, it’s a little tiny spot right by an outside door. It has a green logo. You may be confused if you’re wandering the mall area and wander into a cupcake place cos their sign is right beside it. If that happens, keep going around the corner. BYOB does had cooked griddle style burgers that you can see cooking. Their menus is simple, burgers, fries, they have grilled chicken too apparently. I went simple and got a naked burger with some lettuce(no, I’m not doin lo carb, I just don’t like a bun on a big burger like this.) and some fries. It took a few minutes to prepare. They bring it out and you get to choose your toppings like a subway sandwich or something. The food was so hot the steam from the box was burning my hand as I took it to the table.(this is a good thing!) the burger looked great, and had a good size to it. I’d say its ½ pound burger. It’s a «fluffy» light burger, it doesn’t taste compacted or frozen. The fries are straight cut and look like they may be frozen, not hand cut. They’re topped with salt and what seems like heavy ground pepper. The burger was a bit spiced for my taste. It was heavily seasoned. The fries were hot and fresh, and also heavily seasoned with salt and pepper, but were pretty tasty. With a drink I paid about $ 8 and some change out the door. All in all, its A-ok. The folks were friendly, the sweet tea was good, the meat wasn’t bad, or some frozen roadside burger joint kinda thing. I’d eat here again. It’s worth being said that there are better burgers out there in the world though. But if you’re in the area and you need a burger RIGHTNOW. this place can accommodate you!

Pretty good burger, came out quickly, was cooked very well, it has a nice crust on it from being cooked on a griddle, although the cook smashed it down and it was falling apart a bit on the edges, not really a big deal though. The onion ring on the burger was crispy, but the bacon was a bit hidden. The bun was buttered, toasted to perfection and delicious, however the burger was fairly greasy and if the bun was a little less toasted it might have absorbed some of the grease. The fries were OK. I would eat here again as it is very convenient to my office.

This quickly became my favorite place to grab breakfast while staying at the W for a conference. I came here 3 out of 4 mornings. My eggs and bacon were delicious every time, and I had no complaints about the service. I will comment that the hotel doesn’t let them or any Colony Square restaurant know when a conference is being held, so sometimes they’re all caught unprepared when 300 people suddenly swarm in.(It’s otherwise not a busy area.) But these folks were cooking orders as fast as they possibly could. If you allow a little extra time and be patient, your reward will be a delicious, cooked-to-order breakfast for under $ 5.

This place serves breakfast as well as burgers. How can you ruin breakfast? Greasy tater tots billed as hash browns, greasy sausage, and eggs that didn’t taste much like eggs. My friend got a burger that was cold, and the owner argued that it wasn’t. Took 20 mins for the breakfast with no one else in line, my friend waited 30 for the burger. Don’t bother unless you like giving 1 star reviews.
