Ehinger Electric specializes in electrical: service & repair, installations and construction. Service & repair includes fixing things around the house or business like a light switch that has gone bad or installing a ceiling fan or troubleshooting and fixing electrical components that have stopped working or become damaged. Installations include adding a spa circuit or replacing an electrical panel, installing a new ice machine circuit or landscape lighting. Construction includes complete home or business wiring/​rewiring or adding an addition onto your existing home. Many companies also do similar things as Ehinger Electric but clients tell me our service and professionalism sets us apart. To me every client and job are worth my attention and I ensure top quality customer service and workmanship are always given. I am up front with my clients and do what I say I will, and I charge what I say I will charge so there are no surprises. I look forward to providing you excellent service!

History

Established in 2004.

Ehinger Electric started as a San Diego based electrical construction company where I specialized in public works projects and tenant improvement. In 2007 My wife and I decided to relocate to the central coast due to the location being closer to our family in the Bay Area. At the same time I was developing a new business plan turning my company from a construction only firm to a mainly service and repair business. Although we couldn’t see it at the time the change in business was good timing as the construction industry dropped off considerably in the coming years. It was a challenge to start our business over from scratch in a new part of California, but we are very thankful to be here. After serving clients here on the central coast for more than 5 years and developing a reputation for quality work we look forward to many great years to come. This has become our home and we love serving our neighbors!

I am the son of Calvin. My dad was a mason by trade and ever since I can remember I went to work with him. He later became a general contractor and built many homes. I carried bricks and blocks as well as cement and anything else my dad needed while he worked. When my dad built homes I would help with whatever he needed, I think I drilled my first home out for electrical when i was 7. To be honest I hated construction by the time I was older and wanted to do just about anything else. While going to collage I got a job for an electrical contractor that was only going to last three days. Things went well and I finished the work he had for me in a day and a half. He told me if I stayed busy I could keep working. I found I really loved the work and had a knack for electrical wiring. Since I wanted to get married as soon as I could I quit school and worked full time an electrician. 15 years later I own my own business, I’ve been happily married for 12 years with 3 little ones. God is good!
