Paul’s Auto Maintenance

I’ve been going to Paul for over 8 years. He may not be the cheapest garage in Queens, but he is the best! ALWAYs professional, knowledgeable and courteous. If I have ever had a problem or something wasn’t fixed 100% (which has rarely happened) he has made it right with me. The guys at his garage are great as well, and always happy to answer any questions, or do a pre-​purchase used vehicle inspection (for free!), I have referred many folks to Paul’s to them and I would recommend him and the garage without hesitation to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic in Queens!

I have used other Mechanics in the Astoria area and never felt very comfortable with the outcome. the explanations and cost always seemed to leave me asking, «Am i getting screwed?»
Paul’s is different. From the moment you walk in you have a sense of family and community! Other patrons come in and greet Paul like a well known friend.
Paul is very detailed in explaining what is wrong with your car and what he can do to help fix it. His estimate is spot on and within reason. His labor prices are fantastic for the quality of the work you get so I had no complaint there.
My repair was within what I expected to pay and the service was outstanding. Paul took me back and showed me the parts that were changed out and the car runs in excellent condition.
I would highly HIGHLY recommend Paul and his crew if your car needs service.

Dishonest, crooked owner who would take a nun for repairs that were not needed. Treats his longtime employees like trash. Has been intoxicated on the couple of interactions I’ve had with him… and last but not least. Price gouging on his gas prices. Paul should really lose this shop. One only hopes karma will catch up with him!
