I had the best time ever. My daughters birthday was there today. She just turned 11 ., we did mani and pedi tattoos and hair, was great kids had so much fun.

Really cute place. My son is a little screamer, and I thought he will be crying. But he enjoyed his car ride lol. His haircut was really nice. The owners are sweet, and so patient with the kids. This place is a gem.
I took my kids to other kiddie haircuts places in Queens, but I didn’t like it. This is the best.

After the good reviews on here I decided to give this place a try with my 5 year old since it’s closer to home than the place in the city where we usually go to. However, after today I will NEVER be back, worse mistake possible.
We were clear on the cut we wanted for him and about using only scissors and then razor only in the end for shaping and clean up. But of course they didn’t listen! You look away one minute and hair’s flying away with the darn machine! Hair looks very different when cut using the razor and scissors, not too mention, a kid’s hair can get easily damaged with the razor.
My son’s hair was cut uneven and his sides where shaped unevenly as well, with one side completely shaped different than the other and strands of hair longer than others where they obviously shouldn’t be. We were extremely disappointed and when I tried to explain to the lady cutting his hair how short we wanted it and even showed her a clear picture of his actual hair cut before, she wouldn’t listen and did as she wanted! She slammed her scissor on the table and called someone else, who apparently was the owner, to finish his cut.
We wasted our time in this place! The owner tried to fix her employee’s mistake however it was just too bad of a mess. The more she cut the more hair he lost and before he ended up with no hair left I just had to run out of there and go elsewhere to get it fixed! We never had such a problem before. I didn’t get the lady’s name but she was Latina with mid length blondish white dyed hair, very rude, slamming scissors while working with kids is NOT ok! Horrible attitude and no apology. She’s obviously not ready for that kind of profession and needs a lot more experience on the field.
Another thing I noticed was the place was full of hair everywhere, they need more employees, especially for a Saturday. It was only the owner and that one other lady there that day. If I could give negative stars I wouldn’t even think it twice.
They should also invest in longer full size barber gowns because they had very tiny ones that only covered the kiddos’ back and not the front at all, had only buttons in the neck at the front so all the hair falls on the kids’ laps and chest, of course making them itchy and uncomfortable.
I’m all for supporting neighborhood businesses but not with that kind of poor service and very little experience in the field.

I’ve been to Kiddy Kutz twice now with my son. Each time was difficult (for the staff) as my son is 2 years old and basically refuses to let anyone touch his hair. Somehow, each time, he’s emerged with a great cut, a couple of lollipops and a balloon. They work magic here! They are unbelievably patient, which is definitely a good thing since my son literally had them chasing him around the salon to finish his cut. I can not recommend them highly enough. Great staff, great place, great cuts!

My daughter simply loved it, it was her 1^st haircut. The staff were very nice, friendly. They use organic hair products, very clean. My daughter had a great time. I totally recommend this kids salon.

I took my son Miles for his first hair cut. He looked so handsome when they finished. Although he clung onto me the stylist was so patient and took time to make sure his cut was perfect. The owner was there and she was really sweet too. We are going back for sure. The prices are super reasonable. I know people like Lulu’s in Brooklyn but it’s so frenetic and not enjoyable. Plus it has awesome but overpriced toys there. Kiddy is way more relaxed.

Took my son there today for a haircut cut. Usually he doesn’t sit still and won’t let anyone cut near his ears. Today was different. He sat in the car completely entertained while watching his favorite cartoon and playing with the car chair he was sitting in. She was even able to trim the hair by his ears. She took her time and was very gentle with him. She didn’t rush and gave him, in my opinion, the best haircut he has gotten to date.
Also, there were a couple of kids before us and she did a great job with all of them. She made sure the parents were happy with the end result and did little touch ups to make sure it was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place. Super friendly, kid oriented environment.
My son got a balloon when he was done, which I think made his day!

Brought our daughter here for what was only her 3^rd haircut ever. They were fantastic — great cut, reasonable price, and my little one was happy has a clam — an amazing fête for a toddler. Will definitely be a repeat customer for years to come.

I pass Kiddy Kutz almost every day and I finally decided to go in for my son because he was way overdue for a hair cut and its the only place for children to get their hair cut in the neighborhood. You walk in and get greeted with a nice welcome and a big smile and it’s the cutest little place ever! They have two cars-​one each for a boy and girl and even a bounce and play for the little babies. They also have some big chairs for the older children. Of course my son chose the avengers car and was beyond excited. What I thought was so great was the fact that each station had a television to keep every customer content. They had a variety of DVDs that they were able to play. The owner – beyond sweet! She offers great customer service to the parents as well as the children. The stylist did an amazing job, even though this is the shortest my son has had his hair, he couldn’t stop talking about how awesome his hair was and that his time there was even better! After his cut he got a balloon and a lollipop. Oh oh and the prices I think are great, better than some of the other places I was bringing my son. I used the promotion they had on their page! Definitely a go to hair cutting place for your little one!

The idea of paying for a haircut for my 17 month old sounded absurd. We messed up badly on his hair so we had no choice. Thank goodness we found Kiddy Kutz. The barbers were so kind, patient and gentle with my son. They gave him a balloon, endless amount of toys and lots of love. They also gave him a stellar haircut.
Will be coming back for sure.

We just had my daughter’s 5^th Birthday party here. Great experience! All of the girls had a wonderful time, and they included EVERYTHING for the price — mani pedi (with lavendar foot bath), nail art, glitter tattoos, hairdos (and some very elaborate braiding!), music, cupcakes, pizza, beading crafts, water and juice, nail goody bags, CANDY BAR and decorations! Coffee for the adults! They even had a helium tank for balloons! So much fun for everyone. Great for small parties.
My daughter is biracial, and has VERY curly hair. She got her first blow-​out and was so happy with it. The hair dresser was so sweet and patient with the kids that another girl got a haircut on the spot!

Really cute space. My toddler loved his haircut (his first haircut). He had so much fun playing in the cars and was so distracted by toys and the video playing that he barely noticed his hair being cut. The staff were super kind and helpful. Would highly recommend Kiddy Kutz to others with young kids.

I took my daughter for a spa day .just for her! she had an amazing time. she enjoyed all the pampering and Mani pedi tattoo art and hairdo.
