North Mt. Park

Far enough away that it’s not filled with people visiting OSF but close enough to be walking distance from down town is this nice park. It’s two levels, a smaller grassy and play area up top right off of a bridge, and a larger area down the hill. It looked like there was a parking area at the base of the hill but I didn’t explore that part of the park. The play structure is modern and clean and even has those spring horses I loved from my childhood but most of California has deemed too dangerous for kids.
The view from the upper area was very nice, it parallels 5 but you don’t see much of the highway because of the trees. I was there in the beginning of October and the trees were coloring in preparation of dropping their leaves adding to the beauty of the view.
