The unfortunate aspect about this store is it’s lack of customer service. I had to make a $ 6 return and the company’s policy is that they need your phone number and your address to make this transaction happen. I understand policy, BUT in the retail world, a returned transaction CAN be completed without taking someone’s personal information. The three employees behind the counter decided to argue with me until I was blue in the face and I ended up giving them completely fake information just to get out of there. I was not happy with these employees due to the fact that argued against me as the customer and compared their store return policy to Walmart, Lowes, etc. For the record, Walmart does not require personal information to make a return. How do I know this??? I just did it. I had my receipt and the product hit all the requirements to make it eligible for a return. And guess what??? They completed the entire transaction without asking me for my name, phone number, what color underwear I choose to wear or my shoe size. Walking into O’Reilly’s off Haywood was a waste of energy. It’s really disappointing to experience a scenario like this as a professional in the retail setting. I contacted the corporate customer service line, and they completely agreed with me. He said this transaction could have been completed without taking information. The nice thing about this experience is I will be talking to the District Manager very soon. Thanks for the experience O’Reilly Auto Parts! :)
