History

Established in 2007.

Master Kevin Gower’s Tae Kwon Do training began in May of 1998 under the International Tae Kwon Do Federation (ITF). A move in March of 2000 led not only to a new school, but to a new training style and criteria under the Kukkiwon/​WTF. He was certified as a 4^th Degree Black Belt by the Kukkiwon/​World Tae Kwon Do Federation (WTF) in April of 2009 and by the World Tae Kwon Moo Do Federation (WTMF) in September 2008. Master Gower received his International Masters License from the Kukkiwon (Tae Kwon Do world headquarters located in Seoul South Korea) and his Master Instructor’s License from the USTC (United States Tae Kwon Do Committee) in May of 2010. Master Gower has participated in and has served as a judge in multiple tournaments including the Virginia State Championship. In October 2010 he began training in Gracie Jiu-​Jitsu (Gracie Combatives®) earning his Blue Belt in January 2012.
