Huge Disappointment! I worked for a florist, and know the difference of quality vs UGH. This $ 80+ dollar arrangement was pitiful. I ordered the flowers only — just a bouquet — so that for my friend’s birthday — she would have wonderful flowers to put into her own vase.
$ 80 should be plenty when zero money was spent on a vase and zero money was spent on labor, right? Wrong. We spoke of roses, delphiniums, hydrangeas. What shows up? Carnations? Seriously? Plus– 2 hydrangeas, 1 rose, 2 delphiniums. Again, seriously? For $ 80?
Oh, yes — and since there was no vase — I stressed that the flowers should be delivered when my friend was at home. (Florist was given 2 phone numbers). However — the flowers were still left at my friend’s doorstep — for hours! Hmmm. So much for following my request.
If there is a place I can post a photo — I will do so.

Lavender Fields is as good as it gets. The people who work there know their craft extremely well. Is it a bit more expensive than the average florist or grocery store; well yes, but you get what you pay for. When it comes to special occasions like Mother’s Day, this is the only, and I repeat only, place to go. That said, go early and order early to get the very best! If you wait until Saturday at 4PM, then that’s a lick on you. If you go early, Lavender Fields will ensure your arrangement will be top drawer. I dropped a new requirement on them just a few hours before pickup and they knocked it out of the park. The flower arrangements were outrageously superb! Their delivery service is also incredibly reliable as well. Even if you don’t live close to them, do yourself a big favor by going on line and ordering, and then let the delivery service make you look good! Lavender Fields has never disappointed me! Best florist in Ashburn and all of Loudoun County for that matter!

My son in Chapel Hill called and ordered some flowers and a plant for Mother’s Day. He mentioned to me how helpful Sheree was. Lavender Fields sent a beautiful arrangement of cut flowers and a topiary, Eugenia, that was different from anything I have ever had. I called this morning and talked to Sheree. She told me exactly how to care for it and answered my questions. I have received flowers from them before and have always been totally satisfied.

I was very disappointed in the flower arrangement that I ordered. The arrangement was not as full or had as many flowers as the picture on the website showed. On the positive side, the quality of the flowers are good.

I am an avid gardener and went to checkout this florist for an upcoming event. The owner was rude, impatient and not helpful. Their photo album of flower arrangements looked rather shabby. I wouldn’t go back there.

Very good about last minute orders when next day deliveries are needed.

I worked with Sheree, the owner, of Lavender Fields for my wedding flowers. We were definitely on a budget and Sheree was so patient and helpful. We met twice to review what I was looking for as the planning process & my vision for the wedding developed. Ended up just getting my bouquet and my husbands boutonnière from her, but man were they gorgeous! Lavender Fields delivered the flowers to the venue for a $ 10 charge… Totally worth it! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for event flowers or special occasion arrangements. They have a great assortment of vases for sale as well.

Love the flowers they did for my wedding– they were perfect! I wanted it to look like someone had walked through a garden and grabbed a few handfuls and she replicated that beautifully! The springs of Veronica waving in my bouquet were particularly lovely. Working with them was so easy and effortless and they delivered so my flower were there before I was! Thanks!

The proprietor of the shop is very rude over the phone. The fact that I wanted to order flowers was a nuisance to her. I understand that it was an order on Friday at 5pm, but don’t take the order if it’s an issue instead of reminding me every 2 minutes that it’s in fact Friday. She was passive aggressive, unfriendly, and had terrible customer service when all I wanted to do was give her my money.

I walked into Lavender Fields and needed a last minute flower arrangement for my daughter to be wired and delivered to her place of work in Virginia Beach before 3:00 that same day. Sally cheerfully greeted me, and gave her full attention to helping me with my situation. After discussing various options, she researched florists in their system in Virginia Beach and found one practically across the street from where the flowers needed to be delivered. She called them, asked about their prices, what flowers and what color roses they had in stock, etc. She helped me come up with a beautiful arrangement within my price range according to what the Virginia Beach florist had in stock. She made sure that the florist at the other end could also guarantee delivery before 3:00 that same day. Sally’s can-​do attitude, design expertise, and pleasant demeanor with both me and the delivery florist saved the day. My daughter’s beautiful flower arrangement was delivered by 12:30, just 2 hours after she wired the order. Both Lavender Fields and Flowers by Kings in Virginia Beach have my business and my vote!

I went in this shop on Saturday, May 30^th to purchase a bunch of flowers for my wife for our anniversary. The woman who waited on me had no idea what most of the flowers were. Another salesperson reluctantly got involved and helped out. When I arrived home, I realized that the flowers that were basically thrown together did not have any flower food included. My wife looked at me like I was crazy when I told her I spent $ 65 on what was basically flowers that looked like they were from Giant. The peony and hydrangea stems are dead after one day. Never again — next time I will go to wegmans and get nicer flowers for less money — and better customer service!

I just order some Beautiful Congratulation and Happy Anniversary Bouquet and the price was reasonable and the staff was friendly. They were able to expedite delivery same day and I am a very satisfy customer.

This place is amazing! Big shout out to Mary for making my wife’s birthday that much more beautiful. Best florist in town, hands down!

One of my colleagues had an accident, so our office decided to send him some get-​well gifts. I called this florist on a Thursday afternoon, and they worked with me over the phone to create a wonderful collection of different things for him, that exactly matched the amount of money we had to spend. They delivered the collection to him the very next morning. The collection included a shade terrarium, a plant, an orchid, and a beautiful fall-​themed floral arrangement. While I did not get to see the items, the colleague really seemed to love all the different things and the folks at the florist could not have been nicer or more accommodating on short notice. I highly recommend them! :)

I am a pastry chef and owner of Fresh Bakes in Ashburn. I was working on a dessert table for a client’s baby shower and decided at the last minute that I wanted to incorporate some fresh florals in the table design. I went in and talked to Mary about my vision and she was able to create the most perfect arrangement that exceeded my expectations. The girls at the front counter were super sweet too :). I will definitely be using LF again!

I found Lavender Fields when searching Unilocal for Florists near Sterling, VA [used an actual address].
I went to their website and found an arrangement that looked interesting [search keyword: hydrangea]. I called and asked them to make me something similar. I told them I would be there within 45 minutes.
When I arrived, they had the arrangement prepared. They matched all of the elements that the online picture had — plus a couple of extra accents.
Unfortunately, I had not told them that I wanted the upgraded [Premium] style. Additionally, I had asked for similar because I didn’t actually know what I wanted.
I talked with the florist and asked if some items could be removed and others added. The florist [Sheree] asked me a to wait 10 – 15 minutes while she created a new arrangement to fit my new specifications.
After 10 minutes, she came out with a beautiful arrangement that was exactly what I was looking for.
They gave me a box to help make sure the flowers didn’t spill during my drive to their final destination.
Excellent customer service. They had things ready when I requested and were flexible when I changed my mind.

Great service and a prompt follow-​up call on the status of birthday bouquet to my Mom. On delivery Mom sent a pic and it was above expectations and the arrangement was as I requested. I will order from these folks again — thank you!
