Up Up Jump

I have been here on several Friday mornings for play dates and will continue returning.
The kids are 1.5 — 2 years old so most of the structures are way too big for them but they LOVE the cars and the cart and as we are closing in on more 2 year olds they are beginning to like the structures as well.
As several other reviewers have commented the ladders are very difficult to climb (well, completely impossible for 2 year olds) but despite the signs saying «No adults in jumpers» none of the staff has seemed to mind when one of us gets in to help the kiddos climb up (we would definitely not be able to return if they didn’t allow this as the kiddos’ favorite thing in the whole place is one of the big slides).
I have to admit the prices are a bit high and the sound of all the blowers drives me kind of crazy but it keeps the kiddos occupied for a couple hours so the moms can chat — that makes it A-​OK in my book.

The place has a weird vibe to it. It had the makings of a place that should be fun, but it wasn’t that fun. Several parents that I had never met before were mumbling dissatisfied comments to me about the place. There wasn’t much variety of things for a 6 year old to play on. My 6 year old daughter had to work really hard to get up the ladders, like another reviewer described. She literally had to try 6 times, and was getting really frustrated, before she was finally able to get up the ladder. And without being able to get up the ladders, there were very limited other options to play on. The ladders had looped straps that were supposedly to help the kids climb the ladders but they were hard to use and seemed like they could be a strangulation hazard. Cut/​loose-​hanging straps would have been much safer and effective than loops. The slide was very small. The jumpy part wasn’t very bouncey.
The sole worker there did not engage with customers except when we paid. She was simply on the phone the majority of the time we were there. The one time she interacted with customers was to tell a helpful parent (that was helping kids get up the ladder), to get out of the play structure. Though the parent had been in there a good 10 minutes before the employee noticed.
Pump It Up and Jump Street are much more fun alternatives. Usually my daughter leaves jumpy play places happy and tired. She left this place grumpy and dissatisfied and asking to go home.

We purchased one of those deals to this jump location and checked on-​line at the calender to make sure they were open (two days before we planned to go). When we showed up we were told they had a private party and we could not go in. I said, «no, we checked your website and it said this was an open jump day». She tells me that she made sure the calender was updated before she went on vacation. She said she apologized but really didn’t offer anything for the trouble. I feel basically ripped off because now it looks like I bought 4 passes and will not be able to use them. I asked if she’d be willing to extend the deal since there was this issue and we work so can’t come during their limited weekday hours. She said that they will extend their hours in a few weeks, but that only leaves a couple weeks to use them up and that’s just not enough time. She really didn’t seem to care or want to work with us at all. She said she was one of the owners. Probably the same lady from the other review. It appears they don’t really like working with costumers with issues and it’s a take it or leave it style of management. I think I will probably end up donating these passes if I can’t get a refund from Weekly Plus and don’t plan on ever setting foot in that establishment again since I was made to feel like we weren’t wanted anyway. I’d recommend people go to a different jump place as they’re building one across the parking lot from them anyway and hopefully that place will care if their customers are happy.

I love this place! I took both my four year old and my two year old and loved that there was plenty for each of them to do. I really like that they have things that are specific to just the little ones so that they don’t get trampled by the older ones. My four year old had no problem with the bigger slides nor did I see any other children have a problem. If there was, I would have just had her go on the many other options available for her ability level. I found the owner to be friendly and acommodating and I really appreciate the small touches like free coffee and cold water. I beleive that they also have WiFi which would make it a great get out of the house option for work-​at-​home families. This will definitely be a regular hang-​out for us.

The place is ok but I did want to let parents know there are two jumping castles in which little kids, say 4 and under, either absolutely cannot or have a very hard time climbing up the ladder to get down the slide. My daughter who is a tall 4 yr old could not get herself up that ladder. Neither could any of the other kids there today. I asked if they can do anything about that but the woman said no. I thought it was ridiculous.
