My 89 year old grandmother was in need of advice on various issues, including her trust, and her rights if her partner passed away before her (they are not legally married). As other Unilocalers here have already related, she was a bundle of worry going in to Sungina’s office. I talked to her the next day, and she was elated! Practically yelling about how wonderful Sungina is!
Sungina gave my grandmother all of the information she needed to take appropriate action, and not only put her completely at ease, but made her feel like everything was going to work out well. By my granny’s account, she is very professional and has a lovely personality. And to top it off, she charged a beyond reasonable consultation fee.

Should have written this review long ago. Sungina is awesome! Had an ugly custody battle with an ex, and wasn’t sure what to do. Sungina was patient, understanding, and never sugar coated an outcome, which was very reassuring because I never got my hopes up too high. She is honest and matter of fact which you don’t always find in an attorney, as some are just after your money. My case wasn’t an easy one, as the ex is very difficult, but she guided me through the whole process. Very reasonable and always willing to work with me, I would HIGHLY recommend her as an attorney, and I’m sure I will be needing her services again as I know the ex won’t give up. I have been a Unilocaler for a while and this is my first review. And I couldn’t be happier that it’s for Sungina!
I met Sungina through the recommendation of relatives who had worked with her father.
I entered Sungina’s office — anxious, confused and full of questions. She immediately put me at ease and answered all my questions, explaining everything to me thoroughly and calmly. She never once looked at her watch or made me feel hurried (this being at the end of the day on a Friday).
Sungina is one of the most personable, honest, competent and efficient lawyers I have come across. Her team –George, who I’ve called with multiple questions and Pamela, who I haven’t worked with but spoken with over the phone — have been always helpful and extremely professional.
I couldn’t recommend Sungina enough. She is excellent at what she does and always looks out for her clients. A few years back, I had an ongoing issue with a crappy neighbor which ended up like an episode of COPS one night. My best friend referred Sungina to me, and this awesomely talented attorney really got me out of a jam. My neighbor and his wife had painted a horrible picture of me and of everything that happened leading up to that crazy night, they painted a picture that didn’t even match reality. Sungina was able to help me gather all the facts needed to bring to the hearing officer on my case – she really heard me out and had a lot of empathy toward what me and my roommates were going through with the neighbors from hell, and was very passionate about making things right for us. I was pretty anxious about everything that was going on, but Sungina’s always calm and professional attitude, as well as her being great at explaining what happens at every step of the process I found myself in, helped to calm my anxiety and get me through this little rough patch.
On the day of the hearing, the hearing officer was ready to hit with me with everything he could legally hit me with after he listened to what the neighbors fed him. After the hearing officer heard my side of the story and reviewed the evidence we presented, I was excused from the office. Sungina spent quite some time with the hearing officer – I really thought I was done for, since they were taking a really long time in the hearing office. I was called back into the office, and after a stern talking-​to by the hearing officer about the whole situation, the hearing officer said that if it wasn’t for Sungina’s level-​headed take on my side of the story as it was explained to him, I wouldn’t be walking out of that office with simply a stern warning. I remember him saying «you really got a good attorney there, she really knows how to talk – my mind was already made up on how I was going to proceed with this case until she convinced me otherwise». I was so relieved that Sungina so easily had the hearing officer see it from our perspective, and that our nightmare with the neighbors was finally over (we ended up moving away from those folks, thank gawd).
Sungina is really on top of her game, and I couldn’t have asked for a better attorney and greater person to represent me, and her talent and professionalism really made a difference during that difficult moment in my life, things could’ve really gone in a different direction for me if it wasn’t for her. I’m forever grateful to Sungina in both a professional and personal way for her being the best at what she does. =)

Sungina is a great lawyer. She is very approachable and she always time for you and also a solution to all your problems. My H1B case was very complicated as it was denied last year and this year I approached Sungina with my case. She took on the case even thou a few lawyers had denied to take the case because of its complexity. From the moment she took on the case I didn’t have to do anything, she contacted my company and got all the information and prepared everything without asking me. She was gave me a weekly status on my visa and thus keeping me confident and and worry free. I was selected in the lottery immediately and also got my approval in a two weeks after that. What I most liked about Sungina was that my documents were reviewed at least ten times before they were sent to USCIS. She understands that visa issues are very important for people and she treats every case as if it were her own. I can confidently say this because a lot of my friends have gone to Sungina for the same.
