Great fish store! Awesome store, there prices are dropping too. Extremely knowledgeable, a little over zealous about setting up the tank with all the correct balances and what not. Nice outdoor area with koi ponds to feed.

I don’t know if I will ever go back here again. We loved going to this shop to buy fish, and today we traveled from Slo to go get some fish for our new tank. However, when the owner asked us why we were there, and we told her we bought a new tank, she berated us for buying our tank somewhere else (petco has a deal right now one dollar a gallon, which is the only reason we bought a new one), and told the other employee there it was time to shut off the music and close up shop. We promptly decided not to buy or new fish from there and left. News flash, this is not an ok way to talk to customers you want to buy your product, and as an owner you should know better. Will not be returning.

This store used to be awesome, but they have new owners now, hes rude and not very knowledgeable about salt water fish, Krent was but he is no longer there. They got rid of the only guy who knew about salt water fish in that store the owner claims he does but i beg to differ. His prices are astronimical and for being such a small community customer service is always good. Sorry i gave the guy 2 chances and he was rude to me both times when i was asking questions about certain fish. I used to spend alot of money there as fo 4÷19÷15 i will take my business elsewhere

Why you should take online reviews not with a grain, but a bucket full of salt. On my way to SF via 101 and making a point to visit LFS along the way if I can. Upon entering, I was greeted by the mellow golden retriever mascot and a gorgeous Fahaka puffer. The fish selections is impressive for both fresh and saltwater. I saw a lot. of gouramis I wouldn’t mind adding to my community. What I loved was the back koi and pond plant area. The owner, Cheryl chatted us up and was very pleasant and knowledgeable being as she has been in business for over 20+ years. As I. was just passing through, I. asked if she could just
.a few clippings of plants from the pond section and she was very accommodating. The kois were simply beautiful and the hardacape selection was very extensive and reasonable beyond compare. Make it a destination stop if you’re driving along they way because it’s worth the visit. Stop by next door at Embers to grab a bite before you head back on the road. Thank you Wet Pets for a truly memorable visit and excellent customer service.

Great day at Wet Pets. Kent was great in helping me get my saltwater tank going. This guy was nice friendly and knowledgeable.

I was inadvertently thrust into becoming an aquarist by having my then neighbor get evicted from his apartment, leaving me his 65 gallon aquarium of fish to care for. Not having much interest (or success in the past) in caring for fish, I was not pleased by the situation.
However, after getting the fish situated in their new home, I was bitten by the bug and smitten with my new hobby! I’ve since setup various other aquariums (10 gallons all the way to up 300 gallons, all fresh water), and bought most of the supplies and fish from Wet Pets.
One of my first large purchases at Wets Pets was a really cool Fluval Vicenza 260 Bow Front Aquarium, which needed to be custom ordered. They helped me outfit the aquarium with the proper equipment, choose my plants, and also delivered it to my apartment! What really blew my mind was that they helped me carry it up 3 flights of stairs to its final destination! Great service!
The Wet Pets team has always provided me with sound advice, and I’ve had great success with dozens of fish purchased from them. Wet Pets has been my go-​to resource for everything from which fish work well together, to how to care for live plants.
These guys really love what they do-​and they know fish!

I love this place! The staff is great, super friendly and really know what their talking about! You can get a «fish card» for $ 25/​yr and then all your fish are ½ off and 10% off supply’s. I would never go any other place for fish or questions about my tank. They even tested my water for me! They are the best in 5 cities for sure!

I used to work at another pet store that sold fish but would buy and trade fish here quite often as well as buy any fish related products I needed for my tank. Any time I have a question they are always very helpful and knowledgeable. The fish are in extremely good condition, they have good prices on all their fish and fish related things.
And yeah that review from 7÷11÷2011, no idea what their problem is they must have been having a bad day and took it out on this business for some reason. Totally false in my opinion.

I don’t know what’s up with the last review. I love these guys. The owners and the staff are always incredibly helpful with both fish and pond advice. I love Wet Pets.
