The only thing I can say about this establishment is this: do not even step into this establishment. Just pass the Go sign, save your $ 300 and if you ever do decide to enter this establishment. Well, just say I warned you. I am not feeling very well at all. I have a scratchy throat that has been starting since yesterday morning and my ears were feeling congested. I assumed that this was due to allergies, but still, I wanted this looked at by a decent health care provider. Now, I have used this health care clinic before, and I was pleased with its good service. The nurses were very attentive and gave immediate care and referred me to the hospital when they felt that I needed treatment that they could not provide me. I have Tricare for reserve select and they sent me temporary cards in the mail. The temporary cards had ink on them that tend to rub off in the wallet, so I gave her my military ID card thinking that it would work. Hey, its worked before. I got a shocked look from this nurse, who stated that my ID cards were not valid and I should contact my provider and get new cards. I advised her that my military ID card should work just fine, since the coverage is from the CAC card and not some temporary insurance card. What was worse, the nurse kept telling me that she wasn’t supposed to take me, because of the insurance card blunder. Now, I had money and I will willing to pay out of pocket. Refusing medical services is against the law. The lady wouldn’t accept this and kept hounding me to contact Tricare’s call center. This lady went round robin with me for many minutes until I said, whatever. And I muttered under my breath, «not listening to me» in utter frustration and exasperation. That is when the fireworks began. The nurse’s tone went from candy corn and chocolate to all out Linda Blair. She started to yell and scream at me stating that she was listening to me the entire time and I wasn’t listening to her. That was it, sorry, not taking that abuse. I abruptly ended everything and pulled a manager to complain. While I went to an urgent care center to be treated, I contacted Walgreen’s customer service hotline. I couldn’t believe that I was screamed at and treated in such a poor and rude manner by a Walgreen’s agent. Now the customer service agent on the phone was very nice to me and frequently apologized for the behavior, but sorry Walgreen’s, I will never step foot into your store again. You effectively lost me as a customer.

I am NOT reviewing the Walgreens here. I kind of hate Walgreens the same way that I hate Wal-Mart. I apparently have a things against all things starting with«wal» just roll with me, I have a point and a reason for giving this particular establishment 5 stars. Being a student for a long time and then trying to find a job in a not so spectacular economy, I have found that getting health care when I’m sick has been a nightmare. I don’t really have a doctor, and my insurance is really very minimal coverage, so it can get pricey. The thing is, when I get sick, I still need my z-pack, just like every good American. I always come here to their Take Care Clinic and it’s AMAZING! People call these clinics doc in a box… it’s not quite that but that gives you a pretty solid idea of what they are all about. They have nurse practitioners that will check you out, make sure you are more or less ok, take the appropriate throat swabs or other tests depending on what’s wrong with you, and then write you a prescription, just like a regular doctor. It’s cheap, it’s quick and there’s never a line. Also, every nurse practitioner I have had here has been amazing and your prescription goes right to the pharmacy, so you barely have to wait at all and you get to go home and get back in bed where you really want to be when you feel like death. They are open 7 days a week, too, so it’s a great place to go if you are in a similar position to myself. Also, although they are in Walgreen’s, they are only loosely affiliated with them(I think mainly for pharmacy purposes). I am a fan.
