Don’t let the low rating discourage you. I’ve had extremely uneven experiences here. The first time I went the chicken was lukewarm and the fries were a bit stale. It was a passable meal. The second time I went everything was fresh and piping hot. The Williams Chicken batter is like a lighter, more flavorful version of Church’s and not nearly as greasy. Some of the best original batter chicken I’ve ever had, not including spiced up ones like KFC or Brothers. Satisfied that I had found a winner, I decided to take a third trip on my way back home from UTA one day. This time around the chicken tasted like it had been refried from the night before. It was tough as a rock and laden with grease. Needless to say, I haven’t returned. I’m not saying Williams is a bad chain, when done right it can be quite divine. Just please avoid *this* location at all costs.
