My current, and more than a year, go to place for my nails. Great job with Kate every time. Very nice, quiet, and just what I need. Meghan, the owner, seems wonderful as well(but I always have Kate do my nails). I believe in supporting small businesses and this is a great one. Its not big and not with a huge staff but they are great for me.

Sedona Sun Day Spa is amazing. Meghan the owner is wonderful and always finds a way to fit me into their schedule at a time that is convenient for me. Their manicures and pedicures come out beautifully and they have very nice foot baths. If you are getting a wax Meghan is great and not only will it come out perfect but she uses special creams and tools to make sure you have minimal redness or irritations after the wax. In addition, their facials are incredible they help my skin so much and are so relaxing they even come with a massage. Everything is reasonably priced and they never pressure you to buy products. I have been going here for 8 years and I have nothing but good things to say. Don’t let the other review fool you that it’s «in a basement» it’s simply the ground floor of the building but it has wide beautiful windows and is beautifully decorated and is an extremely relaxing atmosphere. Those who complained about staff communication clearly made little effort. Go here for any treatment and you will be satisfied! Meghan is the best and truly cares about all her clients!

This place is AMAZING! I went for an eye brow wax and facial, both given by Meghan… This was my first time for both and she made the process so seamless and relaxing! My eyebrows were on point and she made sure I didn’t have any allergies before applying the facial products! Could not ask for a better experience. This spa is adorable and a great location! No problems with parking! Highly recommend!

I’ve been meaning to update this review for quite some time. Kim has been gone for a while, and I’ve been seeing Meghan since late 2012. I described Kim as outstanding, so the bar is high, but I think Meghan is even outstanding-er. Her manicures and pedicures are extremely neat and durable. On the few occasions when I’ve gone somewhere else, it’s made me appreciate how difficult it is to polish a nail so it looks perfect. Her work is top notch. The only downside is she’s(understandably) busy, so it can sometimes be hard to get an appointment. Prices are reasonable.

I’m a Sedona Sun Spa fan. Meghan is awesome. I see her for waxing and the occasional pedicure and she’s always done a great job. The other staff is really nice too. Emailing for appointments is easy breezy. The atmosphere is really chill: chatty if you want it to be, mellow if you don’t. I always leave happy.

As Leo Tolstoy once wrote, «All good pedicures are alike; each bad pedicure is bad in its own way.» Or something like that. Well, this one was bad in pretty much EVERY way that a pedicure can be bad: ambiance, technique, durability. The place is in a basement. The foot baths were loud and the conversation between the one other customer there and her pedicurist was louder. I don’t mind a little chit chat(as a matter of fact, the convo was kind of fascinating) but I wish they’d confined it to the quieter parts of a pedicure, so they didn’t have to shout at one another. My pedicurist worked quietly enough but she asked me if my toes needed another coat. I don’t know, dear, what do you think? Since the polish still looked pretty uneven, I said that they did. She gave me another coat, then smudged my nails as she disassembled her workstation. That added a good 20 min to my pedicure but I barely got an apology. Plus, she didn’t do a great job shaping my toenails either. And now they are chipping around the edges and it’s not been all that long. Oh, for the anonymous, generic charms of a cheaper mani-pedi from someplace called Happy Nails, or whatever.

This review is based on interactions with the front desk and owner. I never received services, as I further explain. My husband purchased a wonderful array of spa services with Sedona Sun Day Spa for me. He did a lot of research online to find a spa nearby that had decent reviews and this is how he discovered this spa. Buy try as I may, I can’t even get the appointments scheduled. Not because they are so overbooked, but because the spa is only open 4 days a week, and has even fewer days with a full staff, so if one is attempting to redeem multiple services simultaneously, it’s nearly impossible to do so. I was told that they were trying to hire another technician to solve this problem. The owner took my name and number and intended to call when she hired someone. I gave it three months, never got a call, figured the owner just forgot, so I called back to attempt once again to schedule my appointments. Again, no luck. Same problem. To add insult to injury, the front desk staff, sweet gal though she may be, was rather inexperienced and uninformed. Front desk is THE most important asset to such a business — it’s what gets the clients or loses them, as in my case. After speaking with the Meghan, the owner, and being treated to curt and rude behavior, I just requested a full refund. If there’s any consolation, my husband was treated with the utmost kindness and professionalism when he was dropping $ 200 on the gift certificate. Procuring multiple appointments is the greatest challenge. Treating clients with kindness and respect is another area where Sadona Sun Day Spa falls short.

Out of all the different spas I’ve been to in the Boston area. I absolutely love this one. Love the atmosphere and the experience when I was there

I just got my nails done here and not only did they remember me, but they remembered by fiancée from September! My nails came out great and it’s really cheap! Sedona Sun still gets 5 stars :-)

Yes, I am also a fan. Meghan has done my facials forever, and I’d recommend her whole heartedly. They are so blissful and relaxing, I nearly fall asleep sometimes. The spa is clean, they use top shelf products, the service is friendly, prices reasonable, and parking a breeze.

Sedona Sun is my go-to place for all things spa related. The owner is a fantastic and wonderful woman who makes you feel at home. The spa is very very clean and relaxing. I’ve had many services performed there including facials, brow wax, and manicures and pedicures and all were fabulous. Its right on Mass Ave in Arlington and street parking is easy to find. When my friends and I want to do something special, we head over to Sedona Sun for some pampering. I recommend you do too.
