Prespa’s has become one of our favorite restaurants in DFW. We first stopped by on a whim because we were in the neighborhood, and there really isn’t much around there, but now we pick up dinner almost weekly. We’ve never eaten in, so I can’t speak to the dining experience, but the food is absolutely delicious. Huge portions and very reasonable prices. The salad and bread is a great addition. Our favorites are the chicken sorentino and chicken aristocrat, but we honestly haven’t had anything that was short of amazing. We always call our order in, and it’s ready by the time we drive the 15 minutes or so to the restaurant to pick it up. Highly recommend!

Great food, the chicken alfredo, lasagna, and calzone are the best I’ve ever had. Make sure to go hungry, food portions are large, plus they serve warm bread with butter while you wait for your meal that no one can resist. Giving this place three stars because they don’t serve alcohol, Italian food deserves a good glass of wine. The staff is nice and welcoming, can take a bit long on checking up on you after your meal has been served.

I wanted to like this place. Rolls were bland and SO tasteless. Garlic bread w/cheese ok. fettuccine alfredo with chicken was. SUPER bland, chicken dry just no flavor. Ordered cheesecake and it was just like a store bought one nothing special. I hoped for better due to the stars but not returning.

The food gets 5 stars but the service gets 3 stars. Don’t be in a hurry to eat there and go. We had a calzone and lasagna both were excellent !! Order out if you are crunched for time. The house dressing is awesome !!

Great little«hole in the wall» neighborhood pasta and pizza place. Large portions and great prices. The crab stuffed mushrooms always hit the spot. The dinner specials are great, and the kids menu offers a half dozen standard pasta options. Pizza by the slice at lunchtime or order a «medium»(14″) to share(Cheese is 9.99). The meatballs are to die for, always large and tender and very affordable(order the side as an accompaniment to your meal or as an appitizer; two meatballs are just $ 1.99).

Friendly corner Italian. The pizza has always been consistently good. The fifth star is for cooking a pie to go even though they were ready to go home. It was for my children and service like this is all to rare. Thank you!

Great small hole in the wall Italian restaurant. Pretty on par with Sal’s in Dallas. Best pink sauce I’ve had yet– and strangely best Mountain Dew too– lol. You’ll love the bread especially when it’s fresh, and the salad is a good sized portion. Bring it on in to omeletteville!

This has become one of my favorite take out places in Arlington. It’s a nice change from the regular takeout fare, and it’s a great value. I can usually polish of most of a large pizza from any of the chain places, but this one easily makes two complete meals for me. Just for kicks, I switched up and got the baked ziti the other night and was not disappointed. You can definitely dine in here, and the dining room is always full when I stop in on a weekend night. Great, reliable find in Arlington.

We went there for the first time yesterday on the recommendation of a colleague. We were told it was quiet with good food at relatively inexpensive prices. I am happy to write that was exactly what we experienced. I had the Pasta Trio dinner size portion and a salad. The salad was a generous size, quite tasty. It was not just iceberg lettuce. The Pasta Trio consisted of Canneloni, Manicotti and Lasagna, all baked. It was served in a dangerously hot dish right from the oven. It was not remarkable, but definitely good and flavorful. There was lots of good bread as well, served even before the salads arrived. I took home about half of my main course. Also ordered at our table was Angel Hair Pasta with Marinara Sauce. It was a very generous portion. The marinara sauce was thick and did not result in a pool of water. About half of that also went home. For dessert we had Black Forrest Cheesecase. It was very pleasant and it was a good portion size. I would rather pay a litle less and get a little less than have high-priced enormous desserts with far more than I really need. We will certainly return here.

The water here is disgusting, with that being said it makes most of their food taste awful. Been there twice. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and it just wasn’t good. Also don’t get any pizza that has garlic, because it’s raw.

I’ve never dined in there, but their take out service is very convenient and great. I’ve ordered lunch here many times and it’s been done in a timely matter. I really like their Manicotti, but the Fettuccine Alfredo is a bit oily for me. Other then that, they’re great place to order lunch from :)

Yum Yum Yum, very tasty pizza. In my opinion, local pizza joints are hit and miss, this one is a hit. I’d rather give this place 4.5 star if I could, but Unilocal likes their solid star rating system.(–1 for Unilocal) I’ve had pizzas from here a few times and every time I’ve been very pleased. Normally at restaurants I like to venture out and try a bit of everything, but I’ve loved their margarita pizza so much I haven’t had much else. I’m really surprised this place only has 3.5 stars at the moment. And just in Prespa’s defense, cause I think they deserve recognition, their sauce is good and legit. I am sensitive to about half of the pizza’s-out-there’s tomato sauces– the cheap stuff wakes me up at 3am for a round two on the toilet for an hour. Prespa’s does NOT make me sick. Pizza Hut, Dominoes, and Papa John’s unfortunately do. Yay for Prespa’s.

Service — 4 Stars Food — 4 Stars Bread — 5 Stars Great little Italian restaurant serving comfort food at reasonable prices and BYOB. Every town needs these places and this one has been here since my wife and I can remember and has been serving good food at great prices. Very traditional. We love their pasta plates and their great baked bread that comes with it. While the décor might be a little dated, so’s their prices and I say, Bravo to that! This place was casual before casual dining was cool!

Great for kids and grownups. Tasty Italian food! Kind of the southwest side Candlelight Inn… Not fancy ~ great for groups!

Prespa’s is right around the corner from my house and it is a great local Italian restaurant. They have a pretty decent menu and the pricing is reasonable. The portions are a pretty good size so I usually have leftovers. It’s locally owned and operated which I like a lot. They have a bright room and a dark room to choose from so it is good for a casual meal or a date night. The food is always very tasty and the service is pretty quick. They do have a BYOB thing which I thought was kind of weird being from Vegas where you can get alcohol anywhere pretty much, but then again I am not a big drinker so it didn’t bother me!

Hidden in a shopping center off Arkansas lane just past Bowen is this little mom and pop italian eatery. When you walk in the décor and lighting leaves a little to be desired and I chuckled a little bit at the«dark room» lighting of the colored red and green light bulbs. I suppose they are going for the dim look, but I just didn’t feel like it was working with the run down, hole in the wall look of it all. All that aside, the homemade bread was tasty. Stay away from the water though. Good ‘ol Dalworthington Gardens special brew is … interesting? Not their fault. Just shocked it was even clear? Anyway, I digress… The food was okay. I would rate them higher than Olive Garden for sure and the prices are about similar. Just about. My husband ordered the lasagna and I ordered the Chicken Sorentino with the pink sauce because of a Unilocal review. Mine came with a salad where I ordered the house dressing. Must try the house dressing! It’s shockingly tasty. If I could put the flavors together, it tastes like marinara sauce mixed with italian dressing and a little sugar. It’s good though. Try it! When the meals arrived, my Sorentino sauce was a bit runny for my liking. A little nitpicky?(After reading a few Unilocal reviews, doesn’t seem I’m off there though) But you decide. Anyhoo, the flavors were good. My husband and I both enjoyed their marinara sauce. Bravo there! Although my husband was enjoying the lasagna he said it was«missing something». He couldn’t put a finger on what it was missing though, throwing out«maybe needs more pasta? I dunno». If you figure it out, let me know! Seems like a hot spot for High Schooler’s as well in what I can only assume the family has a high school family member working there(Son maybe?). Friendly staff just a little slow for some tables vs. others. All in all, it was a good experience. Not 4 stars but not 2. A comfy 3. It’s a good alternative for more home cooked flavors than say Olive Garden or the like, but far from the best Italian I’ve ever had. But seriously, stay away from the water. :)

This is probably the best Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. The fact that it is BYOB actually is one reason my family dines here frequently: I would rather bring my own than overpay for a bottle. It’s mostly basic Italian fare, but well-prepared. Don’t come expecting an extensive menu(the lack of beef and seafood dishes is notable), but if you are looking for something inexpensive and good, Prespa’s is worth a visit.

Honestly I would have given this place four stars, but I wanted to level the ratings against Hedonist. 1 star for not serving wine? I think someone is just cranky because they didn’t get their way(or alcohol). I’ve been a customer and have known the owners for a few years now. They take care of their customers very well. I like going to small businesses that get to know their customers personally. When I first came, I asked the owner what his favorite was(you can’t go wrong with the owner’s favorite!) He recommended the Chicken Sorentino and that is what hooked me to this place. I’m a creature of habit, so every time I come it’s always Chicken Sorentino para this chica. I’m glad Prespa’s is doing well. They have a newer location in Mansfield.
