i was awarded a judgement in my favor for an amount of $ 6,750.00 in tarrant county municipal courthouse precinct #2 by judge mary tom curnutt on 01/​08/​2016. will wait for 21 days to receive payment from pep boys inc.; otherwise will file a writ of execution against their properties in texas. the sherrifs dept. will tehn have the orders to confiscate any property belonging to pep boys, inc. and auction off publicly to recover my judgement amount.

Never again! Just a picture of how disappointed I was with the service at this particular store is the notion that if this was the only store in a 100mile radius I still would not go back here. Highly knowledgeable staff but they lack any sort of etiquette or consideration for the customer… Poor service, probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had. STAY AWAY!!!

Had very bad experiences at this store. Derreck should be trained to speak to customers or should be fired from his Job. He is very rude to all. If you reach on time for an appointment, they would still make you wait for 30 – 45 mins for any walkins before taking your car for appointment. If you are delayed by 5 mins, they would get this excuse and still make you wait for same time for walkins. They do not perform proper investigation before suggesting repairs. My Car TPMS lights were on, they suggested tire replacement. AFter replacement for tires, Derreck mentioned that sensor might be have some issue and asked to replace sensors. WTF, cant they do proper research ?
DO NOT USE THIS STORE FOR ANY WORK ON YOUR VEHICLE.

I will never go to another Pep Boys again after the horrible experience I endured today. Not only was I quoted the wrong price on how much my repairs would cost, but I also had to wait over 6 hours for my car to be fixed even though I had an appointment! After you all already had my car for 3 ½ hours I called and asked for an update on when my car would be ready and the technician was incredibly rude and provided no help. I was told i would be called when it was ready and I was not, i had to call twice to find that out. Not only do you all have horrible customer service, your incredibly SLOW service made me miss an important appointment! You would think spending $ 800+ at your establishment would at least offer some decent customer service, but apparently that’s too much to ask for.

Just left them 30 monutes ago! The Only Reason they got a star is because they got my car in at 9. my appt time. One guy quote ke a discount but the guy who checked me out refused to give me the same. I hope my oil was really changed. My change oil light is still on. There’s no sticker or anything to let me know when my next oil change is due. I also request tire info because I really need 2 tires. No one ever mentioned it. Matter of fact they put that my tires where fine on my receipt. Which is crazy because 1 tire is sitting at 19psi and the other is at 25psi. Didn’t bother with airing because I was planning on buying tires from pep boys. All this after paying $ 72.76 for a darn oil change! I’m not going back! Don’t trust them. I’ll hv another place check to see if I really got a oil change.
That store is GARBAGE!

Arrived at 8a as scheduled. (8:45 time stamp though?). Needed inspection. 2 hours later asked for my insurance card to begin inspection. Looks like I did get an oil change though. (I did not ask for an oil change) Really?

Have you ever had nightmare, and woke up in a cold sweat, clenched teeth, and sick at your stomach. That about sums up my exprience at Pep Boys in Arlington Texas on N Collins.
On Tue ⁵⁄₅ I brought my vehicle in for a diagnostic on the a/​c.($ 40) After picking up vehicle, notice that the a/​c is still not working and leaking freon in floor of vehicle. (they say there is no problem with a/​c, it should be working) They agree to look at it again, I’m hesitant, but dont want to pay another diagnostic elsewhere. Tue ⁵⁄₁₂ brought vehicle back, diagnosed and quoted $ 1500 in repairs. Tue ⁵⁄₁₉ sked repairs estimated 2 full days to complete. They never called to let us know it wouldn’t be done. We called them to find out they needed another day to complete. Fri ⁵⁄₂₂ return to get vehicle, pay for service, drive away and realize the air bag indicator light is now on. Drive back, assuming its a reset switch or something because they had to remove the whole dash to complete service. The Cust svc rep says they dont have a mechanic on duty, and the manager wont be back till tuesday. I asked them to call the svc manager, or tech to find out. The parts/​store mgr Raul was there and very unapologetic. He calmly walked in, said we dont call mgrs at home, and walked out. Not sure where Pep Boys found or hired this poor excuse for any kind of customer service. I refused to take my vehicle with the airbag light on, I have two kids what happens if the bags decide to open. I also just spent $ 1500. Unacceptable! Mon ⁵⁄₂₅ get a call that it was a reset button and now the vehicle is ready and the light is off.(3days later)
Wed ⁵⁄₂₇ the a/​c doesn’t blow cool air now. {SCREAMS out loud really?} Tue ⁶⁄₂ call this ratched establishment to ask why my a/​c is still not working. No appointments avail today, and advised to sked a new appointment at another time. Can someone please tell me why almost a month, and $ 1500 later. I still have a vehicle with no air conditioning??? I’m in TEXAS— It’s JUNE!!!
By the way, can I add that I also brought my Kia in there less than six months ago. Spent $ 350 on breaks. Then I brought my van this past March. They replaced rack, and power steering pump $ 1200. So lets just say I have spent approx $ 3,000 at this establishment and still cant get any customer service worth a hill of beans.
Please use caution– you have a choice, DONT choose this place to work on your vehicle!

Where do I start with this Pep Boys. First, I called them to ask a simple question. The phone rung for over 15−20mins before I actually decided to hang up. I thought maybe their phone was broken. I decided to drive up there and call. When I walked in the the store i didn’t receive any help at all. So i decided to call again while i was in the store. To my surprise, their oho5ne actually worked. It still took a while before they answered the phone.
When they answered, one lady in the care care section was somewhat helpful, initially. So, i decided to have my car towed to them.
What shouldve been a 30minute process for my car, turned into a 2−3hour process. I was lied to several times about what they were doing with my car, the prices of services and the length of time it’ll take. People kept telling me different things was wrong. Long stort short, i ended up needing a starter. They started working on my car without asking permission after the analysis. What if i didnt have the money for all that they wanted to do. Sheesh. I did, but still. Lastly, when my car was ready for pickup i specifically asked to lock my doors. When i asked the younger lady about why they had been open for hours ahe just shrugged her shoulders and said, «i guess the mechanic didnt listen to me or he forgot». I was horified. I actually had left aome money in my ash tray on accident and that couldve gotten stolen. Not to mention, they were playing with items in my car. And kept shrugging off everything that i asked of them. They were so nonchalant in their behavior and in providing customer service.
I had a horrible experience at this Pep Boys and will probably NEVER go back. I would not recommend going to this loction. Wow. fright fest for sure up there!!!

I have grown disappointed in this Pep Boys store. They have treated me well in the past and don’t several repairs for me that were less expensive than quotes from other shops, so for about a year this was my go to place.
This week I visited asking them to check into a problem with my brakes, and when they finally called me they wanted to do over $ 1000 worth of work to my car (including new tires) and when I declined to do the work they told me I was at risk of getting into an accident and that my vehicle wasn’t safe to drive. They also told me that my tires were down to ²⁄₃₂ and they needed replacement ASAP.
I got a second opinion for much less, found out the problem was much smaller than it was made out to be at Pep Boys, and that some work was recommended, but not required. The kicker was: my tires were ⁶⁄₃₂ and ⁸⁄₃₂.
I felt misled and taken advantage of by fear tactics here, and probably won’t be back. Pep Boys is great for tires, especially with coupons, but I can no longer recommend them for other work.

This location gave me great service. I will return and I kinda of prefer the same tech working on my car. I will have to look and see what his name was, and then I will come back and edit this post and add it.
He was great, he showed me everything and explained everything.
Wanted to make sure I was clear about the issues.
Pep Boys is alright with me.

Steering was making a little noise, but still quite drive-​able. Took it to Pep Boys on N Collins. They replaced the steering pump and the rack. Worked great for 10 miles then the steering wheel started shaking almost violently. Tried my best to drive it back. Installed another pump, it worked great for about 20 miles. Same thing. Took it to Sewell Subaru who said Pep Boys installed the rack incorrectly which was the cause.

After having an incident with my car last week I came here to balance my tires and do an alignment. I know this placed gets packed because it’s smaller than the other Pep Boys I’ve been to, so if you don’t have an appointment you either have to wait several hours or if you schedule an appointment like I did then you check in and just wait the ETA they give you. I was told it would take an hour and a half but Jason the tech who worked on my car was efficient and finished with time to spare. After he was done he gave me a breakdown of the check and all he did and also advised be of an unforeseen problem with my front shocks. Needless to say I’ll be back to get it done. If you get an appointment it’s less waiting around.

Even though they have been swamped with work every time I come in, they are always nice. Great service and always very informative.

I walked in and looked around for a few items. Not once did anyone stopped by to ask if I needed help, which I did! In fact, 2 guys just stood in the front talking to each other.

This is my alternate pep boys store. they seem to be cool and the parking lot is a bit different. staff here is nice and very helpful. they know when to leave the «wandering/​just-​looking shopper» alone and know when to give you assistance when picking out a product.

John in the service department is wonderful! He is always so polite and helpful. I tell people to go see him at Pep Boys 725 all the time because I know he will take good care of them.
