By far the best breakfast place Iv ever been to in my life! The scrambles are to die for! Big portions and even better prices than IHOP or Denny’s! I’m never going anywhere else for breakfast food!

We love the food at Pattys eggnest and decided to stop for breakfast this morning only to find out they don’t open until 7am!!! You are a breakfast restaurant shouldn’t you be open a little earlier???

We went here for breakfast. I had heard great things about Patty’s Egg Nest other locations so I decided to give this one a shot. We were very disappointed. The heat wasn’t working and I think that is why our food was barely even warm when it arrived. My eggs were undercooked and overall the atmosphere was not pleasant. Our wait staff was good and did the best they could, but the food wasn’t good at all.

My brother has always wanted to try out this restaurant, so we took him and his wife there to eat about 1:30 during the weekday. The place was quiet with only a few other people when we came in. We were quickly shown a table, given our menus and asked for our drink orders. Later after we received our drinks we had some questions about the menu options(very good sized menu with many selections). The server was patient and answered everything and orders finally placed. I had a veggie omelet with hash browns and my wife had a veggie gyro plate with greek fries. My brother and his wife shared a Denver omelet with English muffins. All our meals eventually arrived after what seemed like a long wait, but it was worth it. The serving sizes were very plentiful and the food tasted good but needed a little extra seasoning which I supplemented with the ketchup and Tobasco sauce at the table. My only negative comment would be the omelet did not come out looking like an omelet — cooked and folded over, rather it looked like eggs and veggies all scrambled together into a slightly flattened pile. But that would not deter me from returning here if I come back to this area. Note, the older posts about credit cards, debit cards and cash — here’s the latest low down on that — they take cash, debit cards, and Visa or Mastercard credit. Don’t try paying with a Discover card.

Keep going back. When I first visited I really didn’t like it… the décor was dated and didn’t appear clean. The waitresses called me by pet names, which irritated me. Two, almost three years later, it’s like visiting family(in a good way!), or a second home. We know the names of the wait staff, they know us and our orders, it’s so comfortable now that I’d not trade it for anything! The portions are ample and the cooks are very fast. The price is very reasonable for the amount of food you receive! I would totally recommend them to anyone looking for breakfast lunch or dinner in a relaxed, friendly environment. I especially love their orange juice with biscuits and gravy for breakfast(I order the mini size breakfast, and am always stuffed!).

We go to Patty’s regularly here on Arlington. We have always enjoyed our service and food. Today however(Saturday), we went in at 10 minutes to noon. I wanted lunch(a Greek plater with Greek fries) and my husband wanted breakfast. As I stated my order, the waiter denied this and said they are only serving breakfast. He said this is only on the weekends. I asked what time they started serving lunch and he said, «Oh like a 2 or 3.» He wasn’t really sure. I am extremely disappointed beings the menu clearly stated I was within lunch time. Sad for, this will effect my trips here in the future. So if you want a great breakfast. Definatey come here. Call before to see if they are serving anything else though.

I am not sure how many workers can’t get you a cup of coffee but they tried to set the record here. I had to go to the counter to even get one. Then the dude shows up 30 minutes later and asks if I want more coffee. Well ya, about 15 minutes ago. He laughs. Try the Denny’s next door.

We LOVE this place, Great breakfast, fast & friendly service. We like going here beceause we have 3 kids and the atmosphere is laid back. It truly is the best place for breakfast in Town(the coffee isn’t bad either). We will definitely keep coming back:)

Ordered chicken fried steak. the whole plate was cold. nothing worse than having a runny egg yolk that is cold and sausage gravy that is congealing. should’ve heeded reviews. won’t be back to the arlington location.

Disgusting. Flies everywhere, sticky tables and seats. No greeting, they got my order wrong. Crumbs and dust everywhere. The supposed manager(wearing a shirt two sizes too small, how appetizing!) was shoving tables and chairs around, even knocked a chair over right next to us and didn’t apologize or even look at us. I’m not sure they would be able to pass a health inspection. I only ate a few bites and I was nauseous! Go ANYWHERE but here. Ugh!

I’m not sure how this place claims it got any sort of reward of any kind. This place is out of date, the breakfast needed some seasoning, very plain but the service was decent.

Ordered the senior citizen(small) version breakfast and it was HUGE, and delicious by the way! Easily could have shared this with my child! Attentive service and the food was out promptly. Will return again.

You have to remember that Patty’s Egg Nest only takes cash. They have a convenient cash machine just inside, in case you forgot. This looks like an older establishment, but offers the same fare as in their other locations. We like the drive north with guests, getting just off the freeway and sharing Patty’s. I love their Swedish Pancakes and bacon, their eggs benedict is wonderful, their hot chocolate is delicious! Their staff is cheery and their old style breakfast joint is well taken care of. Reminds me of my childhood haunts :)

My family and I love this place for breakfast. I usually get the Acapulco scramble which is delish and huge but today I changed it up and had a bacon, mushroom and cheddar scramble and it too was yummy, but what was even better was my husbands snuffys mess omelet. It was soooo good. Their hashbrowns taste so fresh and buttery and their sourdough toast with whatever the amazing preserves are on every table is to die for. I’m giving this place 5 stars bc we’ve never had a bad experience here with the food or service. I don’t know why some people have given this place bad reviews. Don’t make the mistake of going next door to Dennys… yuck!

I was expecting a better steak for the price, it was thin and mostly grissle. It would be last resort to go back. Maybe ill try one more time just to see if they were just having an off day.

Sure would be nice to have a good breakfast place in this area, and this is not it. Way to expensive for this atmosphere and food. Coffee is yuk. We’ve given it many chance. Not again.

Ate here at end of October 2012. Unfortunately our experience was a perfectly awful breakfast. Would have much preferred the Denny’s next door. The eggs were fine but the hash browns were DISGUSTING. Slimy, sour and indelible are the kindest adjectives I can muster for this slop. There was nothing brown about them. I like good crisp hash browns — these we’re NOT! Sorry guys — do you ever wonder why you’re throwing out all those«so called» potatoes. If this is considered the«good, old fashioned diner experience» then you can keep it.

Every couple of months, for some reason, I keep giving this place another chance. Previous experience has not been as bad as this last Saturday. I ordered the eggs benedict, the sauce was good but my eggs were totally raw not poached. They were 2 piles of snot on top of 2 muffins. It was so disgusting that I couldn’t eat any of it. The waitress never came back once to see how everything was or give more coffee. What ever you do do not order anything from here that has poached eggs, super disgusting!
