Specialties
Moni’s specializes in Southern Italian food. Our menu offers everything from chicken, veal, seafood, pastas and everything in between. We have private rooms for your special events. We also offer catering from 20 people to 500. Also, we have daily specials that are a must. If there is something you don’t see on the menu just ask. Moni will make it if at all possible.
History
Established in 1995.
The owner, Moni Kaba has been a chef since 1973 when he opened his first restaurant in Waterbury Connecticut. From there he opened restaurant in New Jersey, New York, Florida an Texas. He has won awards from Pinellas County Florida, Dallas and Tarrant Counties in Texas and numerous others in his almost 40 years in the restaurant business. Since coming to Texas for the second time in 1995, he has opened over 25 restaurants. Moni’s is most know for the Tomato Vinaigrette dressing that can be purchased in grocery stores across Texas.

Business Owner
Born in 1950 in Macedonia to Albanian parents. Moved in 1968 to Italy in hopes of coming to the United States. Worked as a dishwasher in an Italian restaurant in Bari. He always watched as the chefs prepared and cooked the food. Finally, after a year and a half, the owner Josephina gave him his chance in the kitchen. Moni did not disappoint. She was so impressed that he was the head chef a year later. After almost 5 years of working in Italy, Moni and 4 of his cousins and 2 brothers headed to the US. He worked as a Chef for a few months until he started his own place. Married in 1975 to Amy (Mama as everyone now calls her), they would go on to have 4 sons. Today they all work for the family.
