It was good. Similar to steel city. The owner was friendly and explained the menu items to us. I tried coconut and it was okay– needed more coconut aroma/​flavor.

Love these icy bites of delight! They are perfect on a hot summer day (or any day, really). All fresh fruit and ingredients that you can pronounce. Definitely something I can get on board with. They sell their products at the Sunflower Shoppe too so I can always go grab one for a couple bucks! Come check it out and support local businesses!

Really good popsicles at a great price. They are fresh and you can really taste it. The owners and staff are super nice too. Great place and worth coming back to.

Maxfrut is a cool little place to get a wonderful desserts made from ice-​cream, or frozen yogurt made out of fresh fruit all made into popsicles. They make all the popsicles with real whole fruit 100% all natural. They are very tasty and it is a plus that they are low in calories. But don’t thank this is some healthy dessert with no flavor because you will be wrong. The flavor the freshness makes some really great popsicles.
Maxfrut also have my favorite which are creamy popsicles I really love the Vanilla and Carmel very good. You will have fun looking at all the unique fruit flavors combinations and it will be hard to pick one. You will want to come back to try other flavors.

1 star for a clean interior, and 1 star for the refreshing and nicely flavored popsicle, nothing more. Below average expectation for a dessert place actually. And hey, dessert can also be for after dinner, not just after lunch so a less intimidating exterior at night would be great. Personally, Steel City Pops would be more worth your visit and money; much more inviting and friendly with great popsicle selections.

For $ 2.50 a pop and the long drive over there and is it worth it? Personally I wouldn’t think so. I went on their Unilocal Event that was hosted there and we were promised free popsicles between a certain time and yes we made it there in time, but either the workers were really tired that day or it didn’t seem like they really cared that we were there. The worker didn’t seem to understand what I was talking about when I showed him the event page, I showed him that it said free popsicles, but he acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about and pointed me to another promotion they had (which was obviously not the one I had originally saw). He told me and my friends (all 3 friends in witness to what I heard) that we can buy 2 get 3 free instead. We were so happy that we took the offer and started choosing our popsicles and he tore off the plastics for us. It was until I went to the register to pay that I noticed the price was off… we ended up paying for more than what he told us… if I knew ahead of time BEFORE he ripped off the plastic wrappers, I would’ve just left the store and say it was my luck but nope we ended up paying a lot more than what we were expecting.
In my opinion you can get organic popsicles for the same taste for under $ 2.00 each at a local grocery store, like a Whole Foods or I’ve even seen them in our local grocery store in Jersey. They tastes almost as good and for a fraction of the price. Most of the reviews you see below got their popsicles probably for free due to the event and probably had a positive time. But I guess the store didn’t honor their event promo even when we were there in time. Like I said, I don’t know whether they were so tired from the day’s event and didn’t care about their service to us since we were the last few customers of the day.
I gave this place a 1 due to the fact that the worker PERSONALLY opened up all the wrappers before we saw our bill. I was upset at that the bill didn’t match the price we were originally supposed to pay and that they rushed us out of the store because it was near closing time. I didn’t feel welcomed and I personally felt cheated out of my money since they charged us more than what we were expecting and we couldn’t just put the popsicles back since it was already opened. My experience here wasn’t as fantastic like I originally wanted it to be and definitely did not have that famous «Southern Hospitality» that I always here about.

I was able to give Maxfrut a try before buying. I tried coconut dipped in half milk chocolate half dark chocolate and it was absolutely delicious. So delicious that we bought 10 to get a 20% discount for $ 23 (Buy 20 and get 30% off).

–Cucumber Lime 70 calories 17g carbs 16g sugar. Strong cucumber initially followed by the sour lime. Think cucumber water with lime.
–Coffee 130 calories 19g carbs 18g sugar. Moderate coffee flavor. I’ve been spoiled by TJ’s coffee blast which is intense. Overall good flavor that isn’t light or watered down.
–Vanilla Strawberry 130 calories 19g carbs 18g sugar. Excellent bold vanilla flavor and sweet.
–Strawberry Kiwi 60 calories 16g carbs 14g sugar — approved! it’s sour
–Pineapple 60 calories 16g carbs 14g sugar — approved!
–Watermelon 60 calories 16g carbs 15g sugar — approved!
–Raspberry 70 calories 16g carbs 14g sugar — didn’t like this one as much due to the seeds
–Bumbleberry 130 calories 19g carbs. I feel the wrapper has the incorrect nutritional facts cause it says 70 calories on their website. Great flavor but way too much seeds.

Maxfrut was pretty amazing. It reminds me of my childhood growing up in the tropics. I remember carefully picking the fresh pineapple and slicing it open to enjoy the gorgeous sweet fruit.
Of course that never happened, BUT a boy can dream! Enjoying the popsicle did remind me of a fresh pineapple though! It was sweet (but not too sweet) and the perfect cold treat for a hot day.
I have been to this shopping strip quite a few times, and can honestly say that I never even noticed that it was there. It’s in a very small space, and if you blink, you will miss it. The owners were so kind and helpful. They immediately greeted my husband and I with a smile, welcoming us to the store. Rather than looking at the menu, they went through the case telling us what each of the popsicle flavor were as well as describing the taste of each.
The best part? They will cover ANY popsicle in chocolate. I just shuddered. ツ
I have only tried the pineapple and cantaloupe, but trust that I will be back soon to try other favors. It’s a great place to stop by after dinner for a sweet treat. This is totally a 5-​star place, not only for their tasty treats but also because of the awesome service.

This place is really great! I’m so glad I found them cause ain’t nobody got time to be driving to Steel City Pops and we need to make an effort to support local businesses. I like their various flavors, today I tried the Cappuccino pop dipped in dark chocolate and might I say it was really really delicious! Everyone I’ve recommended this place loves it!

Lemme tell you Linda! Girl these Popsicles are the bees knees, and if you have a chance you need to gone ahead and get up and get here ASAP! I have tried in the span of 3 days: strawberry, watermelon, pineapple, strawberry with chocolate, strawberry vanilla with chocolate, raspberry… I mean, y’all remember the fat kid that lives inside me right? BUT, this is all fruit (except my chocolate ones) and I can justify that right? I just want everyone to know how spot on this place is when they say fruit bars. The watermelon has to be my favorite on a hot day, so yum. But I haven’t tasted a bad one yet. I purchased that 10 pack, so I could take them home and enjoy, which they transport super well in the cute pack they give you. Still working on them but as soon as I am finished I will be going back to replenish! Such goodness! And the service is greatness!!! So yeah, pretty much love it!

Popsicles in the blistering summer TX heat! Yes please! I can’t say no!
This place is so tiny and hidden! I drove past it and the sign looked kind of faded, I almost didn’t see it. I do hope after this event, they get a lot more customers. In such a hidden part of town and hidden in the strip mall, it’s easy to drive past it everyday and never notice it.
So it seems their popsicles are made from fresh ingredients. I’ve been on a Popsicle kick ever since Steel City Pops (SCP) opened in Fort Worth. I’m surprised the price here is a bit steep. I think maybe $ 3 a pop. It’s not sooo bad. But it’s just weird how popsicles cost more than 1 – 2 bucks. I guess these are an exception since they are fruit filled and not just made from juices or watered down.
I’ve stopped going to SCP since December when all the creamy pops started to have this waxy texture and coating that they didn’t have before. So now I guess this is my new stop if I’m ever in Arlington!
I had the coconut. It was very thick textured with coconut. They did not skimp! It was light in flavor and lightly sweet. I guess good thing for me, I was able to finish the entire thing since it wasn’t too sweet. So I’m guessing and hoping they don’t add unnecessary sugar to their pops. I really wished I dipped mine in chocolate… so jelly of Kendall and her chocolate dipped coconut pop. Now I have to come back and try it again.
There are sooo many flavors I want to come back and try… GAH!!! I’m gonna find every excuse to drive by Arlington now… my friends said the rice pudding and cucumber lime were delicious! And the Vanilla caramel looks super yummy, but possibly super sweet.
Either way… now I’m gonna have to bring my friends here so I can come again without looking like a fatty.

Don’t miss this tiny store in an unassuming shopping center off of Randol Mill. We go to Moni’s so often that I kept seeing Maxfrut across the way, and I was so excited to finally try it. If you know me or my reviews, you know I’m not really a dessert person, but I ate an entire popsicle you guys… coconut dipped in dark chocolate, omg. The coconut wasn’t overwhelming at all, it had the perfect amount of coconuttiness, and real coconut flakes.
There are so many flavors — mango, strawberry, rice pudding, bumbleberry, coffee, oreo, cucumber lime, watermelon, vanilla caramel… lots more. And you can get any of them dipped in milk or dark chocolate. It’s like the best ice cream bar ever, but healthier. All of the bars (except the oreo one) are gluten free and made with whole, all natural ingredients. They show you the calorie count on them, and most are under 70. Pretty good treat, especially for summer.
Right now you get 20% off if you buy 10 popsicles, plus they’ll put them in the cutest little tiny ice-​chest for you. Of course I had to do that, and now I have a new flavor to look forward to every night.

Unilocal Cools Off brought me here for a free pop but it was so good I had to take some home for hubby. They had a promotion going on where you buy 10 pops and get a free cooler bag and 20% off your total. So for 23 $ I got 10 pops– not a bad price. I tried the rice pudding flavor which was amazing. It looked like horchata in the case but I was happy to discover bits of rice frozen in my pop. I also snagged a bite of coconut dipped in chocolate and mango. If you’re calorie conscious they have all the macros listed on the packaging of each pop. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Be sure to check out the instagram page they have for specials and flavor changes!

Maxfrut is awesome! The owners were friendly and passionate about their food. When they say it’s much healthier and tastier than ice cream, I agree.
These treats are less than 70 calories and made from fresh fruit, not purée. It definitely shows.
For someone who had Gastric Bypass, eating desserts is something I don’t get to do very often. I love it when I can find a place that can give me sweets without the pain. Mission accomplished Maxfrut. Thank you!

No, well. .. you can have any of their pops dipped in chocolate! Yes, I said chocolate. But, once you dip it in chocolate, I’m pretty sure it’s no longer anywhere near healthy. But, it’s chocolate.
I had the Mango flavor, which was very tasty. It was everything I love about mangos without all the work and messiness. Plus, it was refreshing on a VERY hot Texas day.
If you’re in the area and looking for dessert, you cannot go wrong here. I highly recommend this place.

Stopped by yesterday with some friends because I tried the vanilla strawberry popsicle from their cart next to Klyde Warren Park in Dallas and fell in love.
Maxfrut is not in the best area, but their delicious pops and customer service make this a must come to spot! My first question to the owner was if I wanted to bring some pops home to my family, did he have any way for me to transport them safely without having a melted mess. At first, he told me that if the drive was 20 minutes, they would be okay, but then he excused himself and came back with a cute like green cooler bag.
He told me he would give it to me free of charge to transport the pops!!! He was so kind and welcoming and I was seriously so happy to see him so passionate about his job and establishment. I ended up buying 12 pops. If you buy 10 or more, you get 20% off. 10 pops fit perfectly in the cooler bag so I ate one and gave one to my friend.
Flavor as to get: Vanilla strawberry, coconut, and coffee!!!
All the pops are made from real fruits and are not artificially colored or flavored! They are locally made and gluten free as well. All big pluses in my book! The vanilla strawberry is vanilla bean with a strawberry piece inside and it is a must get! The coconut has fresh coconut shreds and if you love coconut like I do, you will love the popsicle! I grabbed a coffee pop this morning from the green cooler in my freezer and it was amazing (it replaced my cup of coffee for breakfast).
When my friends and I sat down to enjoy our popsicle goodies, the owner came over to give us all special cards for discounts when we brought a friend. The service could not have been better!

This place is very comparable to steel city pops. The only thing that makes MaxFrut better is the great customer service. It was my first time here with a group of friends and we were lucky enough to meet the owner who was super kind and gave us discounts along with buy one get one free passes for our next visit. Wonderful place, and I highly recommend the vanilla and Oreo if you’re looking for something creamy and sweet.

100% worth my spontaneous trip here. Thoroughly enjoyed my Popsicle, and my experience. Would highly recommend coming here, here’s why:
Experience: walking in didn’t expect too much but it was nice and clean, and a great place to hang out with a friend. The location is small and there are only 4 seats, so I wouldn’t recommend coming in as a large group unless you’re coming and going out.
Popsicle: I got the mango because, The owner said that his favorite was between the mango and cucumber lime, so I took a chance and tried the mango. Honestly, it was one of the best Popsicles I’ve ever had in my life.(not exaggerating) He makes the Popsicles out of fresh fruit. He even told me that when the mangoes are not in-​season he doesn’t make mango Pops, because he refuses to use frozen fruit. Which I highly respect. I have read other reviews and others have suggested vanilla strawberry which is probably really good as well as ALL of the other Popsicles.
Service: the owner was the man in front that took my order, right when I walked in he was very friendly. He is an older man and really has a passion for making and selling Popsicles. He kind of reminded me of the old man from Up selling balloons. Lol. But my favorite part was right when I tried the mango Popsicle my face clearly show that I really enjoyed it, so I told him that I would bring my friends. He then gave me a business card, signed it and told me that when I bring my friend in that my popsicle is free. That tipped my rating over to the 5-​star range.
Seriously love this place and very glad for Unilocal and the free time I had to enjoy this pop. Most definitely coming back!

The owner is so friendly and helpful! I’m never in the area, but after my first visit, I came back 2 days later and then again a few days after that, bringing people with me each time. These popsicles tasted so fresh and refreshing. It’s only $ 2.50. You can also gt 20% off when you buy 5 or more! The bumbleberry is always sold out when I come. I’ve tried the watermelon, mango, cucumber lime, and coconut milk, but I love love love the vanilla strawberry which is a vanilla popsicle with a strawberry in the middle. I got the vanilla dipped in dark chocolate once and it was amazing! I liked the mango without the chocolate though. Unlike Kelsy S, I didn’t have self control and I had multiple popsicles on the same visit: P
It’s not located in the best area, but the service and the popsicles make the drive totally worth it! You can see the bars being hand-​made in the back, and apparenlty these bars are made with natural whole fruit, no added coloring, and no artificial flavors. They have a small cart at Klyde Warren Park on the weekends, too!

Best Popsicle I’ve ever had! Very fresh tasting, you can tell they use all-​natural ingredients. We saw them near Klyde Warren Park so I stopped and got the vanilla/​strawberry one which is a vanilla bean Popsicle w/​a strawberry slice in the middle. At $ 2.50 a pop, I was tempted to go back for another! (But self control). It’s also convenient that the cart accepts credit cards. The guy working there was friendly, and I can’t wait to try more flavors!

I just came back from my first visit and it was absolutely wonderful! The store’s tucked away in a small shopping plaza, so don’t be surprised if you can’t find it at first. The inside was clean, modern, and big enough to fit a few people in comfortably. Also, service was friendly and helpful.
I tried the Tamarind and Vanilla/​Strawberry dipped in Dark Chocolate. Both flavors were the BOMB. The Tamarind flavor was delivered as promised, sweet and tangy just like the fruit. The vanilla and strawberry flavor was just as satisfying. You could see every vanilla seed gathered at the end of the popsicle, and the vanilla taste added richness. I personally would like more strawberries throughout the popsicle though (there was only one slice).
Otherwise, this is a must go-​to hidden gem in Arlington. Each flavor has calorie counts and every flavor is all-​natural with no artificial ingredients. Definitely coming back soon!
