I’ve always had a great experience when coming in for an appointment. Dr. Rogers is always honest, upfront, and professional and provides A+ dental work along with great advice! I’m unfortunately moving out of the DC area soon and will definitely miss having the opportunity to returning to Fairlington Dental for my future checkups.
Dr. Rogers and his team have truly set the bar for excellent dentistry!

I love going to the dentist! If you want to be among the few people who can say those words, try Fairlington Dental. First, the important stuff — Dr. Rogers is experienced and thorough. He did a comprehensive exam and checked things in a detailed and extensive way. I feel confident that he will give me the care I need as it arises. Almost as importantly, I feel that he would not push me into dental work that I don’t need and that he and his staff are willing to keep an eye on things rather than rushing to do work that may not be necessary for some time. Without exception, all of the staff I have encountered are extremely pleasant and professional. Dawn at reception works to get you in at a convenient time for you. Also, I got a sleep apnea appliance and Dr. Rogers is intent on doing what it takes to make sure I have a good experience with it. Now the fun stuff — you get cookies! You can get a paraffin hand treatment. You can have a «spa» cleaning. You can win raffles. These folks know how to make people comfortable!

My childhood dental experiences were awful and I wanted my children to not dread visiting the dentist. I’m so glad we found Dr. Rogers’ practice! We have been patients for 10+ years and we’ve always enjoyed excellent care and service from Dr. Rogers and his superb staff!

I didn’t think I would ever describe going to the dentist as «fun» or «educational» or even «pain free» when getting a cavity filled but, absolutely Farlington Dental and Dr. Rogers’ staff are working on another level of excellence. They have all the current information and technology for gum and dental care. I seriously just had a cavity filled and it was the most pleasant dental experience of my entire life. Also if you have TMJ problems, yep they will solve that too. A+ keep up the good work!

Dr. Rogers is a TMJ expert. I was having serious jaw pain that was getting worse quickly. I visited several specialist and Dr. R was the only one that was able to clearly explain to me what was happening, the affect it was having and what to do about it. His staff is professional and diligent and helped me work through the reimbursement process with my insurance.

Highly recommended, super nice staff and office, using new techniques. Just what you want in your dentist. Dr. Rogers is great, knowledgeable and friendly. Great staff. I will be returning again and again for years

This is a great dentist practice. Dr. Rogers is really nice and provides excellent advice and thorough examinations. Most of the dental hygienists are awesome too. The admin folks at the front desk are really friendly and easy to work with.
So why only 4 instead of 5 stars? I think the practice is a little pricey. If you don’t have great insurance, you’re going to pay more than you would elsewhere. I don’t mind doing this because you only get one set of teeth :)

Dr Rogers has been my dentist for almost 10 years now and he is one of the best. Professional service is primary and his staff is always friendly, courteous, and above all well trained in the latest technology. I have recommended this dentist to all of my friends, coworkers and basically anyone that is looking for one of the best in their field!!! I trust him with my smile and my overall health as it related to my mouth ;).

I saw Dr. Rogers for treatment of my extremely loud snoring. I’ve been trying to find a way to end this problem for the past 5 years or so, and have seen a sleep specialist, tried CPAP (couldn’t stand it), and two snoring-​specialist dentists, who each made me a very expensive mouthguard that didn’t work. I called Dr. Rogers and spoke to his office assistant before I made the first appointment, and she explained that Dr. Rogers would work with me until we found a solution. And that’s exactly what happened. Dr. Rogers listened carefully to my history and account of what went wrong or what I found intolerable about the other remedies I tried. First he tried one type of appliance, but I couldn’t sleep with it. Dr. Rogers patiently went back to the drawing board, and then came up with a customized device that has actually ended my snoring and allowed me to sleep comfortably. It was a brilliant solution. As a result, I am writing the most positive review I have ever written for a medical professional. I would recommend him to anyone with any type of dental problem, not just snoring, because he listens so carefully and is so committed to finding a solution to problems within his area of expertise.
Also, his office staff members were always helpful and nice, and I never had to wait for an appointment.

I am a true dentaphobe and have been to countless dentists over the years, never with any satisfactory results. Dr. Rogers and his staff won me over. I can’t say enough about their professionalism, courtesy and demeanor.
The office is clean, modern and comfortable. I live in VA Square and it takes me about 5 – 7 minutes to get there. As a bonus they do 7:30 appointments so I can go without having to take time off from work.
I have been going to Dr. Rogers since August 2010 and never had a bad experience.

Dr. Rogers is a good dentist, certainly the most caring and personable one I’ve ever had. Moreover, his staff are excellent – obviously committed to outstanding service. The atmosphere is comfortable, and everyone is friendly and kind. I’ve recommended Dr. Rogers and his team at Fairlington Dental to everyone I know who may be looking for a new dentist.

I have to say, Dr. Rogers and his co-​workers are absolutely amazing. I recommend this dentist to anyone I speak to. I am a very nervous patient, and I admit it, I hate dentists. I hate the feel of metal… oh ew. But they make it a pleasant experience. They’re friendly, chatty, they know you by name, they make sure you are never in any pain, and they provide top-​quality medical care to boot. The smell of fresh cookies always greets you, they give you things to read and any channel you want to watch on little HD TV’s to help distract you. They make a damn good cup of coffee. From the front-​desk staff to the hygenists and the dentists themselves, they’re all amazing. And they’re equally as good for children — how many little 7 and 9 year old girls love going to the dentist? Certainly mine do! They love that office.

Thank you so much to Dr. Rogers and his staff for helping me out with my TMJ disorder. The office is very clean and nice and has top notch equipment. Even cookies were baking when I walked in to my first appointment. The staff answered all of my questions and I feel very comfortable when I am there. I also was able to pin point exactly what symptoms I had and what was causing it. Overall a great experience and I’m looking forward to my upcoming treatment. …update — treatment is done and I feel so much better. Thank you.

Great Dental office and staff.

I just moved to the area and had to go to Fairlington Dental as an emergency case. This will definitely become my regular office! The staff was superb and answered every question that I had. They also offered payment plans since my health insurance does not cover anything. Dr. Rogers even came in and introduced himself, which just added to the overall experience of the office. I definitely recommend to anyone!

I have been going to Fairlington Dental for years. Dr. Rogers and his staff of hygienists are all great. They are real, down-​to-​earthy, friendly and community people who care about you.
You can get appiontments when you need them, none of this waiting for months BS. You do not wait more than a few minutes for your scheduled appointment, which think is the greatest. They will even chat it up and give you coffee or soft drinks while you are waiting. It’s a comfortable homey feeling dental office.
When you get called back by your hygienist, you are led back to a state-​of-​the-​art room equipped with modern equipment and tv set so you can watch whatever you want on DirecTV or DVD while you are getting worked on. I ususally have Megan, but have been worked on by all the other hygiensts there and they are all good. Their only dead weight, Dr. Holly, has left the practice. Last time I was in, they were searching for his replacement. Dr. Rogers ensures that the staff takes place in community service programs throughout the area. The thing I like best about this place the «neighborhood feel» that you get from going there. It is so hard to find that any more here in the DC area.
The only complaint I have about the location is that they make you pay for all your services up front and then you are repsonsbile waiting for the insurance claim to be paid, so you are out of pocket for a few weeks. And most of the time their costs are above and beyond the usual and customary costs allowed by insurance, so you are out that cash, which does suck… but given everything else, it’s a worthwhile premium to pay (most of the time). They have an automated system that does the claims form for you, they put it in an envelope and address it for you… they just make you put the stamp on it. When you leave you get a big goodie bag of free samples of toothbrushes and flosses and lip balms… and home baked cookies.
They get 5 stars despite their costs and billing practices because everything else is so damn good.

A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Rogers’ office and I’m really glad I went there. Dawn was very pleasant on the phone and when you arrive, they greet you with a genuine smile and introduce themselves. Nothing about this place is routine. Megan is an excellent hygienist and very easy to talk to. The office is great with TVs on the wall of each room, connected to DirectTV, and they cook cookies for the guests. Lots of free goodies in a bag at the end, too. Can’t say enough about this place, but they make going to the dentist much more enjoyable.
