Established in 1989.

Since we opened our doors, our goal has been to provide the same level of care we would to our own families in a comfortable, inviting setting. We are passionate about dentistry and customer service and it shows!

Our dentist and professional dental team are at the top of their game. The team at Fairlington Dental attends regular Continuing Education Seminars to continue to provide our patients with the latest dental techniques and dental technology. It is our goal to provide a comfortable setting for our patients while working together to create a lifetime dental plan which will reduce emergency visits and unexpected discomfort that is often associated with dental emergencies. We work well within budgets to accomplish your dental treatment plan and also offer interest free payment plans.

Business Owner

Dr. Rogers is a native of Southern California. He graduated with honors from Harvard University in 1985, and then attended dental school at UCLA. Dr. Rogers completed a General Practice Residency at the Sepulveda Veteran’s Hospital in 1991.

Dr. Rogers and his wife Terri spend their free time working in the garden with their dogs Aussie and Cruzin. They also like to travel around the USA in their RV.

Dr. Rogers’ residency training included plastic surgery, oral surgery and emergency medicine. Since graduating from UCLA, Dr. Rogers has received over two thousand hours of continuing education, constantly striving to improve his skills and knowledge. He has attended numerous courses at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Education, and also speaks at local informational seminars about the benefits of regular dental care as well as cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, sleep apnea and TMJ disorders.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rogers for more than 15 years and cannot imagine having anyone else take care of my dental health. He and the entire staff are simply outstanding and provide excellent patient care.

We’ve been looking for a dentist in DC for 7 years. Each one we tried would either to sell us on services we didn’t need/​want, weren’t very thorough, or were just plain odd.
Fairlington Dental was recommended to us by a good friend, and we’re very happy with the suggestion.
The place is very nice and clean, and easy to get to off of 395. The front staff are all so happy and welcoming, offering drinks while you wait. There is also a paraffin wax station in the lobby. They are going for a «spa» environment to relax anxious patients.
My hygienist was very thorough, explained everything each step of the way, and was very gentle.
Dr. Rogers was nice as well. Best of all, he didn’t try selling me anything! What a novel approach.
To top off a great appt, they offer fresh baked cookies as you leave.

Had Lavonne clean my teeth in October. Usually it hurts, NOT TODAY! Lavonne was patient, explained the process and how to take care of the flouride treatment she had a pplied. I got a bag of dental products. Lavonne was awesome.
Then, yes, another bridge in Oct. I am very dentist phobic so had a tough time working up the nerve to get treatment. Dr Im and his new tech melissa are awesome. They’ re patient and work to keep me calm throughout the procedures. They let me sit up and take a break when I get too anxious. Such a high tech place from dentist stuff to the TV I can watch when I keep my eyes open.
Back to the story… Dr Im did all the stuff to fix my teeth for bridge, Melissa did the molds, xrays and other dentist stuff. Came back on 2 Nov, that bridge fit better than the original teeth did, just slipped right in! WOW!
Dr Im looked at it, Melissa did x-​rays, Dr Im glued it in and all was well with my world.
The entire staff at Fairlington Dental is great; they are personable, professional, kind, they all know your name — very impressive, very customer service oriented Highly recommend

I just came from Fairlington Dental and had a GREAT experience!
I’m not a fan of the dentist AT ALL. As in, when I broke my tooth this past weekend, I thought, «I’d rather live with the pain than go to the dentist». Well, I broke down and went to the dentist.
I called on a Tuesday morning and had an appointment that afternoon. Susie, the receptionist, was wonderful. I got to the office, was offered some coffee, but didn’t have time to drink it because I didn’t have to wait! Melissa, a wonderful hygenist, started me off by taking x-​rays. About halfway through, my anxiety got the better of me and I started crying. Instead of getting annoyed, she sat down with me, calmed me down, watched Ellen with me on TV (each room has its own TV!) and got me some water. She only proceeded when I was ready.
Dr. Im came in and also made sure I felt as comfortable as I could. He was amazing! I opted for sedation for the root canal I needed, and let me tell you, DO IT! I slept through the whole appointment (I was asleep, but I still remember everything that happened, but I just didn’t care that it was happening!) Afterwards, I was given a nice goodie bag (unexpected, but very nice!) and there has been very little pain.
I’d HIGHLY recommend Fairlington Dental and Dr. Im to anyone who, like me, get’s panicky just hearing the word «dentist». I’m actually looking forward to going back!
