We pride ourselves on our conservative dental approach and comprehensive dental treatment. Our patients love that the entire family, including the wee little ones, can come to our dental practice and stay in house for all dental procedures that Dr. Roca does herself; from wisdom teeth to root canals, invisalign to implants. Dr. Roca wants everyone treated with the respect that they deserve leaving our office relieved, happy and satisfied. Dr Roca is known for her masterful skill of creating a unique custom smile that matches each individual personality and budget. We offer IV sedation and nitrous for any age patient that would rather sleep during dental procedures. Our unique dental office makes sure you are comfortable and understand the cost and process of your dental treatment. Dr Roca attends seminars weekly to keep up with Dentistry.

History

Established in 1966.

My father started this practice after working as a dentist in Cuba for 15 years. He left Cuba and attending dental school for 4 years at Georgetown University. He opened up his doors in 1966. A few days later my mother found out she was pregnant with her 6 th child and her only american born. That was me, and it has been history ever since. My father was an excellent role model. He stood up for what he believed and worked hard to achieve his goals. It was not long till I decided to follow in his foot steps and become a dentist. He retired at 75 years old while waiting for me to graduate dental school, 1993. He never pushed me into this career because he thought it would be a lot for a women to run a practice and care for her family. As you can imagine, I did not agree with him then, but I sure understand now. Running my own practice has its challenges but I love what I do and it shows in my every day attitude.

Dr. Lupita Roca was raised in Arlington, Virginia. She attended St. Agnes Catholic School then on to Georgetown Visitation for high school. She graduated college from University of Mary Washington with a B.S. in Psychology/​Pre-​Med in 1989. Finally, living out her dream of becoming a dentist, she graduated from Medical College of Virginia-​VCU in May of 1993. She sat her first patient, a couple months after graduation in her father’s dental practice which was started in 1966. She always has had a passion for dentistry and people, having grown up in a family of dentists. She is the youngest of 6 children, a wife and mother of two. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children and staying active in her community and volunteering at schools. She loves making her patients smile, and describes being a dentist as being «a magical experience.» Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious, some would say even motivates them to floss.
