Ingrid Winterling

I will keep this short and sweet. She is no nonsense, knowledgeable and efficient. She actually listens to what you’re saying before offering a response and is brutally honest. I rhighly ecommend her for the 20 – 40 year old age group. Dr. Winterling is a breath of fresh air after I «tried out» a string of doctors who had no clue what they were talking about. Note: This review is for general GYN services, not OB/​prenatal.

I really like Dr. Winterling. I saw her at the Herndon office. I chose her based on her specialty and previous research of a condition that I have. I am glad I found her because she was the 3^rd doctor that I tried to receive treatment from. She knew exactly the course of treatment I needed to get my condition under control. I wish she was based out of the Herndon office. I am looking for another specialist only because she spends 1 day/​week in Herndon and the Arlington office is too far of a drive for me.

The office was professional looking but you have to pay for parking since they are located in a hospital building. The nurses were friendly and I liked that Dr. Winterling came in and took the time to ask you some questions about your medical history. Then I mentioned I wanted to know what other contraception methods were available to me and the Dr. instead asks when I plan on having children. I guess she didn’t understand the primary reason for my appointment, but I don’t like feeling pressured into deciding when to have kids from my doctor when I am trying NOT to have them at the moment. While she did discuss some contraception methods to me, I don’t think she gave a balanced opinion of both the pros and cons of certain options.
