This is one of the better Chinese delivery joints on the pike and they always arrive quick! Get the spicy fried chicken w/dry chili peppers! Trust me it’s on point!

Spring rolls are meh. Kung Pao chicken was pretty good, beef and broccoli was ok. Broc was very al dente. Fried rice was decent. Plus side is that they deliver, although it did take 50 minutes(even having ordered at 5:15 pm, which is on the early side and should have been before the rush). Probably would not order from here again.

I tried Ginger Beef on a whim for some cheap and easy Chinese take-out, and I can say I was pleasantly surprised. While the inside of this place is disgusting, the food here is worth taking out because it’s remarkably solid. The location of this place is just awful — shoved into a kinda crappy shopping center on Columbia Pike and with an interior reminiscent of a place you’d develop some sort of advanced food poisoning, this isn’t the kind of place I’d ever want to eat. There’s a lot of nasty stuff laying around all over the place, the counters are sticky, and the floors are disgusting — the only clean thing here appears to be the kitchen(as far as I could see). With that said, the food I got here was genuinely tasty. The Moo Shi Pork I ordered was perfectly cooked and seasoned to the point where I don’t think I’ve tasted better in recent years. The egg rolls I got were equally tasty and perfectly cooked — the wrapper was particularly delicious for whatever reason. I’ll definitely be going here again, though only for take-out.

This is quite possibly one of the worst Chinese carry outs around. I got a combination Fried Rice and a General Tso deal and not long after eating, out sent me straight to the porcelain throne. Of which I spent the better part of the remainder of the day enduring. It’s incredibly over-oily and rather tasteless and generic.

Okay, so I tried this place using the EAT24 function on my Unilocal app(which worked like a seamless charm by the way!) Highly recommend using and even downloading the app! Ginger Beef(name of restaurant) was a solid choice for Chinese delivery!(Likely for take-out as well). Minimum delivery is $ 15 which is easily reached and you even get a bonus item to sweeten the experience! The bonus Hot & Sour soup was tasty and a perfect treat to sip on while plating up the rest of my neatly packaged order. All the«usual suspects» are available on the menu including fried rice, various chicken selections with vegetables, beef offerings and a variety of seafood options. I stuck to the basics and was definitely not disappointed. Food was delicious overall and NOT greasy(surprisingly for a takeout joint!). Ordering, delivery, packaging, taste was ALL good and smooth. Solid 4-stars from this late night eater!

Horrible. The shrimp tempura looked nothing like shrimp tempura it looked like shrimp puffs. I also ordered the crab Rangoon and that tasted horrible too. The geNeral tsos wings were even worse. I could not even finish half of my food. Went straight to the garbage. Waste of $ 22 do not eat here.

This only for delivery… like 6 times over. It’s my husband and I’s go to when we are in a pinch. He’s Cantonese and loves their fried chicken and dried peppers. Mongolian beef does have a lot of onions but it’s altogether tasty. No weird meat parts. Spring rolls are meh. Cashew chicken is delicious. Mongolian fish is da bomb. If you ever go inside, there are a couple of guys that look like they know what they are doing. Surroundings are kind of drab, but the food is a steal compared to the prices, so take the time to sample the flavors! Delivery is fast. You get free add-ons for buying $ 15+. $ 1.50 delivery fee. Cons: melted, deformed styrofoam boxes upon delivery from the heat(only one occasion), and the egg drop soup is super gross — we couldn’t finish it(also one occasion)

Have used them several times, I like the food and usually quick… the only thing is the ordering. Calling can be rough with with people there and website is strange. Not trying to difficult but could use some work. Food good, usually order several and have enough for many days!

Review for a few items: 1) Cumin beef 2) Sichuan Fried chicken with dry chili pepper 3) Singapore noodles 4) General Tso Chicken — - - 1) Cumin Beef — 5 stars 1″ x 1″ x 1/8″ chunks of very tender, somewhat crispy fried beef A little more wet than the Hong Kong Palace version, but still drier than, say Hunan Beef. Delicious smokey, warm cumin flavor, perfect amount of saltiness. Lemony, woody overtones from the sichuan peppercorn. Large chunks of a fresh, low-hot(not as hot as jalapeño) chili pepper. By my best guess, anaheim. A lot of dried chili, again by my best guess, Tsin tsin. Not as much sichuan peppercorn as the HKP version, which I personally like, but enough to give just a touch of tingle. — - - 2) Sichuan Fried Chicken with Dry Chili Pepper — 5 stars ½“x½“x½″ cube of chicken, coated in what I believe to be a cornstarch dusting, deep fried, tossed with salt seasoned with warm spice. Maybe cumin, maybe 5-spice, but it’s hard for me to say. The chicken itself is crisp, but not dripping grease. The flavor is like a delicious southern fried chicken, but more warm, with the lemon-wood hit from the peppercorns. The chicken is tossed with onion and the anaheims, and a lot of dry tsin tsin chili. Also, sichuan peppercorn of course. Although I enjoy the HKP version with sesame-stuffed tiger peppers, I prefer this one. It’s a touch less greasy. — - - Singapore Noodles — 2 stars Noodles are plentiful, and boiled perfectly. However, there is not enough curry or soy sauce. It’s very bland. You could ask for more seasoning though, since they’re very accommodating. — - - General Tso Chicken — 2 stars Chicken is a 1″ ball. Although some people might like this style, it reminds me too much of North Broad Philly Chinese. There is a lot of visible batter mixed in with the chicken when you bite a piece in half. The chicken itself was pretty crisp, but I prefer strips like at Andy’s. The sauce isn’t too sweet, but also does not have enough seasoning. It could use a hit of wine, ginger and scallion. Otherwise, it basically tastes like a sweetened broth and soy based brown sauce. — - - Delivery was timely, the lady on the phone was polite, online ordering was a breeze, and all 4 alterations asked for were given. If you stick to the authentic Sichuan dishes, this place warrants 5 stars. If you go for the Americanized stuff, it’s more like 2 – 3 star place.

The food here is surprisingly good. Got the orange chicken and general Tso. My friend made me go twice because he liked it so much. I might go back again, I have no real complaints about the place.

Pretty close to where I live, figured give it a shot for delivery. Ordered chicken Szechwan and it was riddled with chicken bone bits. Every bite had a hard little piece of bone. I ended up tossing the while thing. Just make sure you chew your food carefully

Pleasantly surprised by this Columbia Pike gem. We ordered from the authentic Szechuan menu and were not disappointed. Not the very best szechuan food in the area, but probably 2nd best, overall very good and the best we’ve ever had delivery for sure. We specified«spicy» for everything and it was pretty good, next time will try«very spicy» and see how that goes.

We did online delivery through Eat24 and my food came before 1 hour and was at a good hot temperature. We ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken and Beef with Broccollii combos. Both meals were delicious. I must say I loved the Sweet and Sour chicken becaust it was not greasy and they had pineapples. The Fried Rice and vegetable egg rolls were also tasty. The only sadness we had were that there wasn’t enough to take to lunch the next day but the quality and taste of the food made up for that. We will order from here again.

First time ordering from this place and it is the worst Chinese I’ve had in this area. We love ordering Chinese delivery and have tried a lot of places in Arlington/DelRay. They got my order wrong… Twice! Both the first order and the second replacement were both wrong. I asked for Beef Chow Foon with NO bean sprouts, but instead they sent some version of Beef Chow Mein. The replacement they sent was a bad tasting, greasy Beef Chow Foon with LOTS of bean sprouts, as in the bean sprouts outnumbered both the noodles and beef! Even after reconfirming NO bean sprouts in the order. My wonton soup spilled everywhere because of the ill-placed hole on the cover and the crispy wonton strips were overly greasy. So greasy that the little bag it came in glistened in the light and it took 2 napkins to get it off my fingers. I normally write positive reviews on Unilocal but this place deserved a negative review. The only good things about this place are the people are nice in trying to fix the problem, the delivery is quick and the cheesesteak was pretty good.

Overall, the food was not bad, since we ordered pretty«safe» dishes(i.e., Mongolian beef and General Tso’s chicken). But a few things that they did annoyed me, so I won’t be ordering from them again. Pro: Food was delivered very fast(within 15 minutes). Cons: They were obviously being cheap about things. My boyfriend and I each ordered a dish, but they only gave us one small container of rice to share(they advertise that each dish comes with steamed rice). Also, I ordered Mongolian beef and what I got was more like Mongolian onions with a few strips of beef thrown in. Very disappointing. I can’t believe I paid $ 8 for a plate of onions. If your restaurant’s name has the word«beef» in it, you probably shouldn’t skimp out on beef in your dishes! I’m uploading a photo to prove that I’m not exaggerating.

Best Chinese food in the area. I love that the wonton soup has actual strips of pork in it in addition to the wontons. Their food is like crack. The only down side is that they no longer deliver to 22305… :(

This restaurant’s menu hitting my mailbox couldn’t have been timed better had they stood in front of me at a hunger strike. Before you get confused, let me tell you a little back story. I’ve recently started swimming laps in a pool, and if you haven’t in a while give it a shot. Every time I get out of the pool, I’m hungry. And not that«oh, I’ll have a small salad to tide me over» BS hungry. I mean, I’m ready to run the local Boston Market out of chickens hungry. Lucky for them, I checked my mail on the way home and couldn’t seem to get ‘Ginger Beef’ off my mind. I drove over to find the owners inside very friendly and welcoming. Is this a newish business? Did they just purchase it from a previous owner? Or are they just nice? No clue. To counter the niceness of the owners, the location is not what I’d call stellar. Sandwiched b/t a Laundromat & a check cashing place, this might not be your favorite location after dark. But fear not, they deliver! Inside, the place is nothing to write home about either, just some basic tables and chairs to wait for your food and a few soda machines with an assortment of coke products and tea and a few others. The menu choices are almost endless. This is after all a proper carryout. By carryout, I mean you can get an authentic Chinese dish, an order of chicken wings, a gyro, some fries and a burger all at the same time. After perusing the picture menu(What? I can read. I just like pictures dammit. Quit judging me!), I step up to the plate. In hind sight, no one at my level of hungry should be allowed to order Chinese food. Tonight’s selections include Peking Duck(w/extra pancakes), fried dumplings, egg rolls, fried rice, hot/sour soup, & beef w/vegetables. So, the question of the day… how was the food? Actually, quite good. As far as Chinese food and carryout’s go, damn good! The duck was excellent with pieces of crispy skin and tender meat. The pancakes(for the duck) were just thick enough to have a little flavor and to hold in the duck combo, but not so thick as to be over powering. The sauce had just the right zing and the scallions were freshly cut. The egg-rolls were wonderfully fried and as always a wonderful duck sauce delivery method to my mouth. The beef w/vegetables was tender and flavorful and the dumplings were thick and gooey with a lightly tangy sauce. If I were to make a suggestion, ask for extra sauce with your dumplings. Why the 4 stars you may ask? Well, can a carryout truly achieve 5 stars? Maybe, that all depends on your scale. I’m docking it one star for the sketchy location, the meh interior and lack of diet sodas, but other than that… it looks like I have a new regular Chinese carryout. I’ll be looking forward to my next sick day so I can gorge on more tastyness from that menu!

After an especially busy work day, during which I had no time to eat lunch, I was starving and craving some delicious Chinese food delivery. I wish I hadn’t gone with Ginger Beef. Let’s start with the good: –The man who took my order over the phone was really polite and helpful. He took my order with zero confusion and promised my food would arrive within 45 minutes. –Sure enough, within 45 minutes, my food was here. Props for that! But then things went downhill: –The hot and sour soup was EXTREMELY sour with kind of a dirty dish water aftertaste. Not even their fried wontons helped. I took a few slurps and had to give up on it. –I found the singapore rice noodles to be below average. The chicken tasted good, but the noodles were somewhat burnt. The seasoning was smokier than I’m used to, overpowering the delicious curry. Again, it had a weird aftertaste. –The szechuan string beans tasted better than the other items, but I’ve had much better. The onion-to-bean ratio was crazy. I found myself wondering if I’d accidentally ordered szechuan onions. Overall, I was grateful for the good customer service, but disappointed with their food.

I was happy there was a place open at midnight to get some grub other than pizza. I’ve only tried a couple Chinese places on the Pike, and really haven’t been too impressed. The egg drop soup really needs some work. Where’s the vegetables? The Pork Fried Rice passed with a C-.
