I want to give Hanna my praises for being the best manicure/​pedicure master I have ever met. I have been searching for someone like her for the last 20 years. She is fantastic. I have been using her services for 4 years.

If you are looking for a fantastic manicure and pedicure, look no further. I have been going to Cassianna Spa for about two years and have never been disappointed. Hannah is the best nail technician I have found, including in many upscale salons all over the country. I have rather short nails, and she does them to perfection. I would give Hannah the highest rating possible. The other are good, but Lien is the best other than Hannah.
I also love Yuli for eyebrow waxing. That is always a tricky person to find, but she is a perfectionist and will make sure your brows look perfect before you leave. Ben also tints my eyebrows and does a great job.
If you stick with Hannah and Yuli you cannot go wrong. It does not look like the nicest place from the outside, but it is inviting inside and the people are lovely. They always know your name.

Cassiana Spa looks like a whole in the wall but is a great place for a facial, wax, or massage. They have great specials and are always able to fit you in. I am not a fan of the nail service as my nails have been sloppy and the shellac peeled off within a week but other than that, no issues.

Do you want your hair to look like this on your wedding day? I sure didn’t! It was clear (during a trial, thank God!) that the stylist had no idea what he was doing when it came to formal hairstyling; he seemed nervous and at a loss. He even declared a picture I’d brought of what I was looking for to be «impossible» because it was actually a hair extension — something an actual professional said was not true at all — she did the look in about 25 minutes. So why did they book my appointment in the first place, I wonder. Money, I guess.
If that had been my only experience, this would be a one-​star catastrophe. They get three because I had loved this place, and that stylist, when I went for regular haircuts. They were great. With their ridiculous botch-​job of my hair, I went from being a very satisfied customer to an extremely irritated customer, and don’t think I’ll be going back because I’m so annoyed. But objectively, if you’re in South Arlington and want a good haircut at a good price, this place is worth trying.

Ben has been fantastic cutting my hair for several years. I’ve had several styles and lengths from very short to below shoulder length. Always great!!!
Also perfect eyebrow waxes.

I went for a Keratin hair treatment and it was done by a Moroccan guy whose name is Nour Eldin. He damaged my hair, my hair started falling and I regret that I went to him. I don’t think the product he put on my hair was Keratin because as soon as he started applying it my hair smelled like there is some sort of chemicals on it and it irritated my lungs and I started coughing. I used to have a long hair and now it is all gone. My hair became so thin and still falling on a daily basis. I complained to the Vietnamese manager who is very rude and he did not apologize, he told me there is nothing he can do for me and he kicked me out of the place They charged me 300 dollars for this so called hair treatment. Please avoid this place.

This is my first Unilocal review. In which I felt like this place really deserves two thumbs up… Great great great! I did full set mani, pedi, waxed eyebrows & touched up highlights. Everything was exactly how I wanted it. Everyone was nice and actually knew what they were doing. I was a little worried by the looks of it on the outside but the inside is really nice. Prices are reasonable. I WILL be coming here again!

I’ve been going to Cassianna for over 10 years whenever in the area visiting my daughter who is a regular client… and have always had wonderful massages, facials, mani and pedis. Am always greeted by name and treated with the utmost kindness. Prior to my daughters wedding, several of us went there for hours of pampering and it was delightful! I’ve been looking for a great nail artist since I moved to Arlington 8 months ago. Lien did such a great job, listened to what I was saying, and what I wasn’t saying to give me so much more than I could have imagined after my previous experiences in Arlington. She even said that I could bring pictures and she would try to make them work with the gel nails!
Make an appointment on the weekend, during the week seems to be slower. They can add tip to card before they run or bring cash.

If it’s time to get those feet and nails in order, this is the place to go. This is one of my favorite places in the area for a mani pedi. I think they consistently do the best job. I have tried most of the technicians here and most are good and now I always try to make an appointment with Thanh since I consistently have liked her best. She gives a great leg and arm massage. Sometimes parking is limited but you can park next door at the Suntrust as well. The owner always remembers as well which is nice. I’ve been coming here for over a decade. Try others and always come back.

I have been going to Cassianas since 2003 when I lived in the nearby garden apartments. I just get a si. e mens haur cut and my most amazing barber is Ben. I love Ben. He is so nice and cuts my hair perfectly each time. I give him Five Stars.
When I started going the price was 10 for a cut. A few years back they raised it to 20 dollars, my only complaint.
The service is good and it could be better. The place needs a bit of fixing up and remodel. All in all, I would not go anywhere else.

I have been coming to this place for my haircut for the last 7 years I absolutely love it. My go to guy is Ninh. He is such a sweet older gentleman who always knows exactly what kind of hairstyle im looking for.
My sister introduced me to this place years ago and I am so glad she did.

I have consistently attended this Spa for over 10 years. I do not understand the terrible reviews. My 4 starts are basically for mani/​pedi services with either Lien and Hanah. They are amazing and once you go to them, you will not go to anyone else. I can come in here with my nails and hands looking like crap and come out with hands ready to model on a magazine!!! I usually get the shellac mani and pedicures and they are great, this is for basic colors, not designs or trendy nails. If you want clean, healthy looking hands this is the place for you.
Facials — I used to get facials and waxing here, but the esthetician is no longer there. Russo was the best!!!
The have excellent deals during Spa Week (April 21 – 26) — Good opportunity to try the mani/​pedi.
They could improve by making over the place, it cold definitely use a coat of paint and new furniture, chairs, etc.
Parking: can be hectic, since the shopping strip has some popular restaurants, you can park by the post office across the street
As far as massages, I have had them here, but not impressed and have not booked for the services again.

Hanna does an amazing job on my nails! I get compliments everywhere I go! She takes the time to think up creative nail looks sometimes too, if I’m feeling up for it.
Marlon is a great massage therapist! He helps me unwind and destress, at least once a month. I literally feel like I’m MUAH when he gets done with me!
Great products too! I bought my Clarisonic there. It’s a daily facial. Alchemie and Pevonia products for your face too!

I’ve been coming to this salon for years for manis and pedis. I will forever and always recommend Tahn, she’s wonderful, knows exactly what I want and has never let me down. I’ve tried other places but none of them compare to Cassianna.
My best friend needed a place to her nails done and I told her about Tahn and she loved her!
I have to admit though that the prices have gone up a little but hey! It’s totally worth it!

I FINALLY FOUND MY SALON. I’ve been in Arlington for 2 years now and have finally found my eyebrow lady and nail lady.
Got an e/​b & underarm wax with a sweet woman from Morocco. Can’t remember her name but she actually looks middle-​eastern and she was great!!! Super fast and it was the best e/​b wax I’ve gotten since I moved out here. I don’t remember her full schedule but she works Fri & Sat. Definitely going back to her.
Got a shellac french spa mani/​pedi with Lily. Also awesome! My toes haven’t looked this good since I went to my family salon back in Cali. My family own 2 salons back there, so I like to think I know what I’m talking about. Nails were great too; she listened when I told her the length and shape preference. [long & square]
Parking: You can park in any of the four corners of intersection which is incredibly convenient!
Price: cheaaaaap. For all 4 services, I spent around $ 100. Note that my spa mani/​pedi were shellac AND french tips.
Walk-​ins: they take them! I just walked in on a Friday and got EVERYTHING done right away.
I can’t speak for the massages, but I’ll definitely be frequenting this spot from now on for waxing & nail services.

I’d like to make an update to my review below, that the manager Quyen at Cassianna spa was very apologetic and willing to reimburse me with a gift certificate for another service– although I think I’ll take the Mani/​pedi over the facial… This gives them 2 stars instead of one.
Sensitive skin beware!!!
My face was very dry from the cold weather so I decided I wanted a facial but didn’t want to wait for an appointment, so I bought an instant Groupon Now deal. I arrived on time and the place was empty aside from a few employees. I was asked to have a seat in the waiting area where I waited for about 6 or 7 minutes next to a hairstylist who had fallen asleep. As I looked around I felt more and more uncomfortable as the décor is very old and lackluster and there were piles of hair on the floor.
Russo was my esthetician and she talked me into waxing my eyebrows which I had never done before. I thought I’d try it and I was impressed that it wasn’t all that painful when she did it. I did NOT know however, that you are NOT supposed to have a facial within 48 hours of waxing, and now I wonder why waxing was suggested in the first place, because wow am i suffering now. Not only did the facial products used sting a bit as they were applied, but my face has been bright red for 4 days now and it feels like a sunburn. I was told by another esthetician that this is likely a chemical burn.
At the beginning of my appointment I told Russo that I had sensitive skin and she tried to talk me into some fancy special facial for $ 55 more, but I didn’t want to spend more money so I said I would just stick with what I had purchased already on Groupon. I don’t understand why using sensitive skin products should cost more anyways. I feel I should have still received the «European» style facial with gentler products.
As she did the facial she would leave for ten minutes while a product sat on my face rather than doing an arm or shoulder massage as I’ve experienced other places. Her disappearing act happened twice for an extended period of time which I found to be awkward. When she would go to touch my face after leaving it I was always surprised by it. Most facials I’ve had, the esthetician would rest the back of her hand against my shoulder first right before applying the next product. She also never mentioned what she was doing, or what each product was. You can imagine my surprise when she suddenly lanced a blemish on my face without warning.
So I guess from now on I’ve learned my lesson that a last minute facial special on Groupon probably isn’t the best facial, and NO WAXING before a facial– even if the esthetician (who should know better) tries to talk me into one.
Ouch.

I figured I was past due on updating my review of Cassianna. Since my original review, I have had a massage by Weeny when Cassianna had a Spa Special week (watch out for these — I am all for discounts on massages). It was my first experience with a Reiki massage (focuses on energy), and toward the end of the massage, I saw bright purple. I was a little perplexed and asked her if I was crazy for seeing that and she explained it was normal (has to do with auras and such). Pretty cool.
I agree the salon could do a lot to fix up the décor on the inside and the rooms could be nicer — ie less harsh lighting, better air circulation, calming music, etc. It’s not that type of salon but it’s cheaper and worth the deal. Russo is amazing for waxes and I have been seeing her for years now.

Update.
This is still my go-​to place for manis and pedis. I’m always able to do a walk-​in and quickly be helped.

I was really impressed with my manicure, but I probably won’t be back for the facial.
The buisness is decent sized, but really run-​down on the inside.

I went in for my 50 minute anti-​stress massage with the usual sore muscles and tenseness because life is hard. Parking is a little too musical chairs in their lot, but the CVS and market across Glebe have more spaces. All the staff were friendly and after a short wait, I was led downstairs to meet Weeny, who is a goddess with her hands. The massage took place in a much more upscale than the plain reception area room. It was large, dimly lit and had soothing music piped in. There was another table set up so you could do a couple’s or friends’ massage together.
The massage was full body – from scalp and face to toes – and was probably my favorite professional massage to date. Not only did Weeny work out the knots in my neck and shoulders, but she also did fantastic things to my feet. She was careful about avoiding my upper left arm since I’d told her I’d just gotten my flu shot there. A nice touch I hadn’t experienced before were the heated towels Weeny used to cover my back while she was working on my legs and my face as she massaged my scalp. Hmmm… relaxing. Go now while they’re running their Spa Week deals (until the 18^th) and your 50 minute massage will be a nicely discounted $ 50. I’m already contemplating a return visit.
