I have been seeing doctor Seiler for almost a decade and I could not be happier. She is professional, kind, and very helpful. She is also the first doctor that has ever taken time to listen to me and ‘all of my concerns.
One of the other things I love about the practice is the use of PAs and RNs which allows for same day visits in case of sudden illness.
I also love being able to access my medical info online.
Overall, I am very happy with the practice.

The staff here is abhorrent to deal with. I am a long-​standing patient and had to cancel an appointment. I called a week in advance and left a message during their two hour lunch break when calls are not taken. My call was not returned. When I called again, they told me the next available appointment would be six months later. They told me there was not wait list for cancellations. To treat long term patients like our healthcare is so dispensable is just awful. It is truly the laziest and worst front desk staff I have ever encountered.

I have been going here for about 20 years, and Dr. Chu is my primary care doctor. I have found them to be responsive and efficient. No practice is perfect and there were a couple of administrative mistakes that had to be fixed, but again, over the span of 2 decades, that’s it. Dr. Chu is very thorough and understanding. She tells you just what you need to do and what specialists you need to see, and orders tests in a responsible manner. I think she is a wonderful doctor and I’m the kind of patient that does ask a lot of questions, and she is always responsive to them. When I was very ill with a kidney infection once, she came to see me in the hospital and had them readjust my medication for better results. Another nurse in the practice literally saved my life by identifying that I had a very serious health condition when I went in for a flu shot once. It was addressed right then and there, and I’m fine now… but if she had not noticed it, I could have died! So, for that reason alone, I’d be a loyal client but I return because I think the care is good. I find I get more reliable Dx’s and care from the doctors than the NPs, however, so only see them for minor complaints, if you can.

It took me a long time to find the right primary care physician and now I have. The first good sign was that Dr. Rimicci was highly recommended by another doctor I respect. Being a professional with a medical background, it was easy for me to tell that he was on top of his game. On the first appointment, he was able to sort through my medical history very quickly and with amazing accuracy. Also, he’s a great communicator. His knowledge/​manner/​communication combination is nearly impossible to find in my experience.
The staff has always been wonderful. You almost become used to dealing with cold or obnoxious staff in medicine. Not here. They are amazing. They answer calls, are friendly and helpful in the office, and follow up quickly if there’s an issue.
As far as appointments, the first appointment was challenging. The first time I called they weren’t accepting new patients. A couple months later an appointment was available 5 months down the line. But since the first its been relatively easy. If Dr. Rimicci isn’t available immediately and it’s a matter that can’t wait, I’ll see the P.A. Kevin Henry. Kevin is a superstar in his own right. Also, extremely knowledgeable and makes it easy to discuss matters. Also, he never leaves you waiting for a follow up call.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Seiler at this practice as my primary doctor for the past several years and I have nothing but good things to say about her. She is very calm and efficient and has a warm «bedside manner». Although her schedule is no doubt very busy, my appointments with her have never felt rushed. She asks a lot of questions, takes a lot of notes, and is very easy to talk with.
On the subject of the office administrative support staff, unlike a couple of the other reviewers, my interaction with the staff (both over the phone and in-​person) has always been very positive. They are not necessarily over-​the-​top friendly, but I don’t expect them to be – they are in a doctor’s office, not a store or coffee shop. They have been courteous and professional, and that is what matters to me. I also have not found the wait times (for scheduled appointments or for drop-​in lab tests) to be any longer than what I’ve experienced at other doctors’ offices.

Dr. Chu is my primary doctor. She has always treated me with respect and kindness.
She’s a great diagnostician and is very thorough. She has successfully treated me for a variety of complaints. A possible reason for having to wait for a doctor: patients like me– I woke up with really bad ear pain, drove to her office and waited, no appointment; she made time to see me and prescribed antibiotics. She did not ask me to go to the ER, or make an appointment for later or another day. He office staff that day were sympathetic, too. The referrals she makes have always been helpful docs. The slight occasional disconnects with getting messages and requests for copies of labwork are probably due to the popularity if these docs and their huge patient loads.

I cannot recommend this practice. I have been a patient for a number of years and I dread making an appointment because the front office staff is atrocious. I have never had a call returned, had to return to the office multiple times to have a form filled out, and on two occasions the receptionist has refused (or forgotten) to pass along a prescription refill request. I strongly recommend against this practice.

My doctor, Dr. Seiler, is fantastic. She is caring, she listens and asks great questions, and she really takes time in dealing with me to get the best answers for me.
The rest of the office staff that I’ve dealt with is horrible, especially Laticia in the referrals department. You can ask for a referral and expect to be waiting indefinitely. If you call to follow up (and you will need to numerous times), she will actually argue with you about how it is YOUR fault somehow that you haven’t gotten the referral. I’ve heard that she needs more time (after weeks of waiting), I didn’t call enough times asking for it, she didn’t get my message, um what?! It is ridiculous to have the staff blame you about their lack of follow through.
Also, I was not at all happy that they direct me to the nurse practitioner when facing a health issue since the doctors are quite busy. But then when it came to diagnosing and treating me, I had to come in to see the doctor a second time about the same issue. If you want me to see the nurse, that is fine. But then you should trust your nurse’s report and not make me come in twice for the same examination. That is a waste of my time and money. Anyway, the doctor’s are great. I hope they can resolve the sheer rudeness of their staff and this would be a wonderful practice.

I have been a patient in this practice for about 2 years. I am pleased with the care I get from the doctor, but the majority of my visits have been with the Nurse Practioner. She has never had a good bed side manner and I finally realized it is because she is very condescending.
I am also not pleased at all with how phone messages are handled. I called a few weeks ago looking for a recommendation for a neurologist. I left a voice message for Dr. Bergamini. I did not receive a call back from anyone in the practice. I called a week later and left a similar message on the referral line. I did not want a referral — I just wanted a recommendation. Again, I received no call back. I had to call the office and talk to the receptionist to get a response. The NP said that I had to come in to see her to get a referral which was not what I was looking for because I already had a diagnosis from another doctor.
I will be looking for another primary care doctor.

I’ve been meaning to do this for a long time, and now am FINALLY taking a few minutes to provide this team with some well-​deserved (and earned) praise.
They are great overall… helpful, professional and friendly, even if over-​worked at times (flu season, anyone?). My PCP for many years has been Dr. Jeanine Chu and she is turely amazing: smart, capable, thoughtful, thorough, kind and a great doc. Sometimes you have to wait for your actual appointment (in the waiting room, I mean), but it’s always because Dr. Chu is spending needed time with patients. She really cares about her patients (though with a low-​key manner) and I have literally seen her take charge to save someone’s health (and their life, in one case). For me, she idenitifed and then drilled down on a couple of not-​obvious conditions that needed attention. Moverove, this she did without either rushing to dial 911 on one extreme or ignoring subtle symptoms for years until I was in real distress on the other hand. I’m in better health because of her care. My ONLY reason for not continuing to rely on her is that I’ve moved too far away to make getting to appointments practical.
Also, now that I’m moving on, I’ve had to rely on Dr. Chu’s assistant, Byron Haugh (sp?) who is also amazing… friendly, informative, willing to work on my stuff even though I’m moving on, follows up with status calls, etc. Great professional.
I just wish I could take these wonderful people with me…

DO NOT see the Nurse Practitioner. She scared the living daylights out of me that I was having an acute attack and may need immediate surgery. She completely misdiagnosed me and sent me for an unnecessary CT scan. I have had poor experiences in their lab with consistent arm bruising. If you have to get a lot of blood tests to monitor medical conditions this is problematic.

I see Dr. Chu– she’s fine for a general practitioner, and if it wasn’t so tough to find one around here, I wouldn’t go to her. Why? Because every time I go, the wait is insane! The first appointment, I finally asked how much longer it was going to be after 45 minutes– it took an hour. The second appointment, I asked after an hour, and was seen an hour and a half late!!! I was having blood work done and hadn’t eaten anything since the night before– I was starving! That kind of wait time is extremely irritating, especially when you know you’ll have to stay late at the office to make it up. Total disrespect for your time. I also don’t think the care is anything great– I mentioned my endometriosis on my last visit, and Dr. Chu was like, «yeah, you need to see an OBGYN,» but she didn’t give me a referral or anything. Guess I’ll find one myself! SIGH.

Thorough. Did a full blown review of my entire medical history with detail. Made me really think about my own medical history for once [and I work in healthcare so most of the time I’m just thinking about patients’ histories]! Actually called me after doing lab work to tell me that everything was just fine except they’d like to see me take a vitamin D supplement… I mean, how attentive is that?! Clean office, cool front desk staff… about 1,000% better than the last place around here that I used to go to!

I have only been once, so I don’t feel like I know enough to give all five stars. But I went over the summer and saw a NP for a physical. I felt pretty comfortable there. The office was clean, I didn’t have a long wait, the staff took their time with me, and my normal test results were called in pretty quickly. I do wish the practice had a website, as I find it easier to orient oneself to anything nowadays, but beyond that, I really have no complaints. If I have more interactions, positive or negative, I will happily provide an update.

I saw one of their NP, who was OK, but the practise itself is pretty bad. Half of the time, I can’t get through their telephone system. It just has the busy sign, which makes me have to hang up and call again and again. And the telephone tree doesn’t make sense either.
I was trying to get a referral and it literally takes 2 weeks and it’s still not resolved. The NP doesn’t call me back, I just end up talking to the receptionist or whoever. Not even a nurse.
Would not recommend. Regret having gone there and also sent my husband there. It’s hard to get PCP appointment in this area as a new patient and they had openings. I guess now I know why…

I’ve been coming here for the last 4 years and I’ve only seen my doctor (Bergamini) once in the multiple times I’ve been there. If you’re happy with seeing a Physicians Assitant, then I’d recommend this place. They never make you wait and it’s a convenient location in Northern Virginia

I see Dr. Chu at Arlington Primary Care.
The staff is excellent, professional, competent and knowledgable.
The nurses work with a specific doctor which makes it a much more team based approach and this helps in getting refills, checking on tests or just following up regarding your condition.
I also like that they have nurse practioners that can see you if it is urgent and the doctor is unavailable. I have felt very well cared for at this office.
The doctors use computers to keep electronic records, which makes your visit easier, no flipping through pages of written notes and I especially like how they send prescriptions directly from their computer to the pharmacy.
The only drawback, $ 4 for parking but our entire family goes to Virginia Hospital and the overall quality of the physicians colocated at the hospital is excellent.

I have been coming here for the past couple of years ever since my company switched health care coverage. At first, I picked this place for the convenience because they’re located at the Virginia Hospital Center on George Mason Drive in Arlington — which is between home and work. But I lucked out because the staff here is very friendly and accommodating. My doctor is fantastic and she always makes time to follow up with me regarding visits and test results.
And having a woman doctor, I no longer feel as much shame when I get a prostate exam or checked for hernias!
