The café is open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday from 7:00am — 4:00pm. We specialize in fresh, hassle free homemade food. Variety is the spice of life and we have something for everyone. In the AM some options are eggs, bagels, muffins, pastries, fruit & locally roasted Swing’s coffee. In the PM you can find soups/chili, sandwiches, salad bar, & fresh brewed ice tea. Snacks include chips, donuts, fruit salad, trail mix & in-house baked cookies. We have a rotating list of daily lunch specials which are made fresh in small batches.
We offer multiple vegetarian items daily (and some vegan) such as three bean chili, veggie hummus pita sandwich, and many soups.
Full service catering is available for all events anytime. Our café space is also available for meetings, and social gatherings. We’re happy to talk about your catered event from lunch for five to a reception for 200. We’ll do all the work so you can focus on having fun.
History
Established in 1994.
Allspice, formerly known as The Spice of Life café, has operated in this
location since 1994. There have been some changes over the years but the heart and soul of the business has remained constant. The founder and original owner sold the business in March 2013. The new owner is a local Arlington family who appreciate the solid foundation Allspice has built and is looking forward to taking the business into the future.
We offer hassle free, homemade food in a casual environment. The café is open Monday — Friday but we cater all events at anytime. Contact AllSpice and ask for a tasting and allow us to provide a proposal for your next event.

Rich V.
Business Owner
Rich is the proud owner of Allspice Café & Catering since March 2013. Rich literally grew up in the restaurant business. His great-grandparents started an ice cream stand which turned into a popular three dining room, full service restaurant in Cape Cod, MA. Three generations of the family ran the family business for 50 years.
For over 10 years Rich has worked for several catering companies in the DC Metro area. He believes in making delicious food and offering outstanding customer service.
