This is my mechanic of choice. I have had both my Acura and Infinity serviced here for many years. Had oil changes done, brakes, tire changes, AC, and general check ups, among many other other services. This is a small shop, and so you get very personalized, no frills treatment. He’s been working with cars for over 20 years and knows what he’s doing. He will make recommendations to save you money and prolong the life of your car. Honest, reliable, and reasonable service.

I have used these guys for years now. The owner is honest. I live very close to this place but never knew this place because they do not have a big sign. Ever since I found them, did not go anywhere else for car problems for the whole house hold. Recently I stopped by to replace my battery because it kept on dying on me he did not hesitate to tell me my battery in more than ok after checking with a machine the told me to not to leave lights on in the car:). He sometimes refills the coolant for free when I anxiously stopped by with the coolant check light on. He said to come back if the light comes back on.

Amazing mechanic and best of all amazing prices. He always knows what he is doing so trust him. It does get extremely busy though so its best to call ahead unless you are already in the area. I’ve had my A/​C fixed, my tires realigned to my wheels, my struts replaced, and my coolant system repaired. Great place.

These guys are top notch and will charge you a fraction of what a dealership or some chain repair shop will. Don’t expect fresh coffee, a waiting room with flat screens, nor a rental for the day. However, what you give up in the frills department you make up for in savings which is the end game for most people. The main mechanic is a complete gear head and an automotive genius. I would put him up against and of the $ 170/​hr tier 1 technicians at any dealership/​shop. If you have no problem with a very bare bones «experience» and using after market parts then this is the spot to go if you live in the area. If you enjoy flushing cash down the toilet for OEM parts, diagnostic/​estimate fees, and preposterous hourly labor rates then keep on patronizing that dealership service because they’ll gladly take your money.

I went there to get a second opinion after my primary mechanic quoted the repairs that seems a bit too expensive.
The shop’s owner clearly explained the problem, and had the repairs done within a few days. Incidentally, the diagnosis and price were identical from both mechanics, which confirmed my faith for both.
The shop has no waiting room, so arrange for a ride in advance.

Went here to fix my AC. They charged me half of what my old guy charged, have a warranty for labor and parts for a full year, and did it really quickly. They speak Russian and English. Also did a quick checkup and fixed my broken mirror at no charge. And since I was driving from a ways away and called ahead, they waited for me past close to diagnose my car. Very nice. I highly recommend.
Went back for a brake job. They did my brakes, changed my belts, and fixed two more things for a reasonable price. The car works great. Courteous, professional, and trustworthy. Worth the drive from Chicago every time.
