Dr. Leon Tcheupdjian has worked tirelessly for his entire career to bring the latest and greatest technologies in liposuction and cosmetic surgery to his patients. One of the forefathers in liposuction in the United States, Dr. Tcheupdjian has performed tens of thousands of liposuction procedures. I went to the Arlington Heights location. the location was easy to find. My experience was below average and here is why:
1. The esthetician, Shina, who did my microdermal wasShina did not bother to introduce herself and just brought me to the room where she was going to do the procedure.
2. We first talked about my skin type and my concerns and what she recommends and then she told me to lay down on the table… i was not offered any covers and i had to lay there for the next 10 minutes feeling a bit cold.
3. I have had 3 microdermal done before (all through groupons) and they each were a brief session anywhere from 25 – 40 minutes, but this one lasted literally 10 minutes (a $ 200.00 value!!!)…not sure if it was because it was a groupon, so i was not as valued?!
4. Usually my face looks shinier and feels smoother with a lot less pigmentations after the treatment. It has been 30 hours since the treatment and I am not impressed with the results at all… my skin still looks just as dull and have more acne!
5. After the treatment, I asked if i can get some water, and I was directed to the water fountain outside their office!
I do not recommend this place or the technician.

Ok, so I was here and I know that each experience if different. But to be honest, the doc that I had Dr. M… cant spell nor pronounce the rest of his name (he is too cute!!) is the reason I gave it an extra star. He is pretty new to the staff (Im guessing) and has good mannerisms.
besides that…
I dont like anyone talking fast to me about any type of procedure… slow down. Even if I am just getting my eyebrows waxed… slow down!!! Im a stickler and if im raising an eyebrow… that means im about to get pissed!!! Lets say my eyebrow was raised more than once…

Do not go here!!! I had the most horrifying experience of my life due to their negligence. During my procedure I woke up and it took several minutes, I’m guessing about 10, for anyone to noticed. I was intubated and could not speak but could feel the pain of the work being done. I listened while they talked during my procedure. Finally someone noticed my heart rate was off the chart and I was under again. I told Mercedes the post op RN as soon as I woke up that I was awake during the procedure and she couldn’t get me out of there fast enough. Dr T never showed for my follow up and when I tracked him down he offered me free botox and told me not to tell anyone. Unbelievable. He face was priceless when I told him exactly what they were talking about during surgery. As a result, I was diagnosed with PTSD, had night terrors and IBS. My lawyer couldn’t even serve this guy-​his staff is well educated on how to avoid legal documents. It’s been 5 years and it still pisses me off.

I went for tattoo removal and left with permanent scaring. I had three treatments done there, but my skin didn’t seem to be healing right, so I went to another doctor. That doctor had me call Liposuction & Cosmetic to find out what laser was used on my skin. I called and was informed that it was the Versapulse laser. My new doctor made it very clear that despite what I was told at L&C, the Versapulse is the absolute wrong laser for tattoo removal, as it burns and leaves scaring. My skin is certainly a testament to that.
If you are planning on getting a tattoo removed, the best thing you can do is avoid this place. They do not run tests on your skin to determine whether your skin will react to the laser favorably. They do not care about the damage that they are causing to your body.
Even if you are not getting a tattoo removed and are looking for another type of procedure, I highly advise looking somewhere else. If this is their level of incompetence in dealing with lasers, I’d seriously fear what they can do with a scalpel. It is clear that these are not professionals.

i wish i would have read the review left before mine. i heard of this place from 103.5, i didn’t want anything big done but the commercial said they have the best tattoo remover. i had been going previously for tattoo removal but the machine just wasn’t taking the last of it off, i would imagine i have about one session left. i made a appt. which you have to pay $ 35.00 and they say it will go towards whatever your purchase. for 1) for a 15 minute insulting consultation it took two hours just to get in the doctors office! i was pissed! 2) this cheesy doctor who acts like he’s from beverly hills witha cheap suite on takes a look at my tattoo and laughs at it and tells me if i had gotten the removal it done in a garage and also tells me i would have to buy a package of at least 3 visits for over $ 400. of course if i only needed one visit they say i wouldf get my remaining money back but after reading the review before mine i wouldn’t be surprised if they never sent it or returned calls.
this place is like a in and out place, i wouldn’t trust even a removal let alone other surgical procedures. stay away, you get what you pay for and that’s not saying much either.

Avoid this place like the plague. You may end up with a botched procedure– as I did– and then they will never return your calls. All you have to do is Google the «surgeons» and you’ll find dozens of lawsuits. If you are a victim, you may have a hard time filing a lawsuit because they will not give you your medical records. Make sure that your surgeon is board certified. Good luck.
