This is the best hair salon anywhere. They treat you so nice and with care and love every time you go for a haircut. They are extremely friendly and welcoming to everyone. Frank and Anna the owners are the best there is. I have never had a bad haircut or color ever from this salon and all of the other clients that are there when I’m there always seem so happy with the service. Once you try this salon you will never want to go to another. Thank you for all you do.

This is a great salon right in downtown Arlington Heights! It is a great combination of a plush downtown salon and a small town neighborhood salon. I had Francesca as my stylist she is friendly and down to earth but she cuts hair as good as any snobby overpriced stylist you can find! I highly recommend this place it is a family business that has been in Arlington Heights for over 30 years! I can’t believe I just found this gem!

If I could leave no stars I would. Scheduled a Keratin treatment with the owner over the phone. When I arrived at my appt. was told by the stylist he had only bought the treatment that lasted longer and much more than I was planning to spend. With a busy business travel schedule I decided to just do it, especially since the stylist suggested it would have great results. $ 360 later and not ONE change to my hair. NO RESULTS. I have had Keratin treatments before and they have been great. I went back to express my concern and was patronized and given an illogical excuse of why it didn’t work. This salon is out of date with current trends, techniques, and products. And still charges similar high prices as more hip and current salons like in downtown Chicago. Do not waste your time here. For the same price you can find a much better salon.

Really beautiful salon. Really nice staff. Frank the owner is a hard worker and trains his stylists really well. I was surprised to see the reviews on here. I have never had a bad experience and have been very happy. Keep up the good work.

After much investigation and research, I decided that Adam & Eve was the place to go for my wedding hair and make-​up along with my eight bridesmaids and 2 aunts! It was a LARGE group of girls and everyone was so accommodating to us! The appointments were on time and we even finished a bit early. This was so unexpected considering many of the salons we inquired at for our 11 person party sadly turned us away due to the large number of girls. The salon is large and we had our own designated area for us to sit and socialize. We were allowed to bring in some food to nosh on while getting our hair styled and our make-​up applied. It was awesome! Everyone looked spectacular and we couldn’t have been happier. Francesca took her time and really remembered the little details I mentioned. I highly recommend this salon!

I went here to get an updo for a work event. The style was great but I thought it was overpriced for the effort and time. I went in with clean (ish) hair and a picture of what I wanted. She had to «dirty» my hair and pin it up. She did a great job but I think $ 55 was too much for a 30 minute updo. I think I’ll go to Bloom Salon (2 blocks away) next time.

I just want to start out saying that the negative reviews are ridiculous! There is absolutely nothing wrong with this salon!
I’ve been searching for a while for a quality performance salon for my husband’s hair. Being new to the area we could no longer go to his previous hair stylist. I was THOROUGHLY looking for a place with good reviews that had stylist to do a men’s modern specialty haircut because my husband has a very complicated hairstyle; not just your average men’s cut. Its like a unique European look, like a soccer player so it’s pretty tough to match!
I chose this place due to the great positive reviews I read, NOT the pointless bad ones!
We set up the time 30min to their closing time and being unfamiliar to the area we show up a few minutes late and we thought they would be upset. Quite the opposite! Frank was the first to welcome us and I felt instantly like family with him!
The place itself was BEAUTIFUL! Very modern and clean! I loved it instantly.
Frank was the one who I spoke with on the phone before going in about men’s cut so he was the one who cut my husband’s hair.
He knew exactly what we wanted!!!
He took his time and ended up staying longer than the closing time to really perfect the cut.
My husband’ s hair turned out great!!!
Frank is one of the best hair stylist I know!
I can attest to the results of his work and if he can cut my husbands haircut to perfection he can match any hairstyle!
He is very friendly and makes you feel welcome.
Nobody wants to go to a salon where people are rude and strict to the second on time and hours.
At Adam and eve Salon you will be treated right!
They also had high end products that you can’t find at your typical ULTA and they don’t mark up their products like other places!

Aside from our great impression we had, I recently got a color/​cut at another place I typically go to and I wasnt happy and frantically I called the salon not knowing what else to do and again close to closing time Frank told me to come in.
He was very kind to fix my hair and was very kind to help me out!
AND he did a great job on my hair as well!!!
I am blown away at how beyond words amazing this place is from every single aspect!

I badly needed a haircut… Because being the cheap rich hipster that I am, I cut my own hair. And it always looks awful, but hey I deal with it. Occasionally when i feel like coughing up the money i let a professional cut it, then i just try to mimic it (poorly) for the following weeks.
I live in the city but my parents live in Arlington heights. I was tired of paying for expensive ass haircuts that would look good for 2 days then vanish. So I thought to myself, oooooooo I should try a place in the suburbs. They are alwayssss cheaper, right?! (gotta love the suburbs every once in a while) Being sort of a metrosexual when it comes to my hair I wanted to go to a nice place (i really dont like going to greatclips they kinda suck and beside they are too mainstream, hipster joke) After a little googling a found Adam and Eve. It’s in a great location and the prices were very reasonable.
I walked it and was greeted at the door immediately. i was able to get a walk in appointment, YES. My hair stylist was a cute young girl named Francesca. She was very personable and funny. I told her what I liked with my hair and how I styled it and you know what… She actually listened to me! Haha I hate when you go to get your haircut, tell them what you want, then they (hair stylists) do what THEY think will Look best. DAMN YOU I SAY! Honestly I have not be able to find a real decent place to cut my hair, until Today!
Francesca even cut my eyes brows as my ethnicity causes them to be quite bushy! Thankkkk you. Now I’m beautiful. From the eye brows up ;-)
I will DEFINITELY be coming back

Adam & Eve Salon and Spa is absolutely wonderful. Over many years, I would go to a stylist with something specific in mind. However, having gotten many cuts and color from Frank, I now go in and simply say «Please do something with this…»
The color and highlights that Frank does garner compliments from friends and strangers. In fact, a few weeks ago, my daughter and I were having lunch at a local restaurant and a woman stopped by our table to rave about my hair color!
I can only say that Frank, his wife and the staff are fabulous and I have no interest in going to anyone else.

I was a fairly long time customer and really enjoyed Francesca’s work. I stopped going because of Frank. I had purchased two synthetic wigs and and called to ask if I could bring them in to have them cut. Frank said yes. When I got there he wanted me to leave them there for them to work on; I said no, I need to have them on my head during the cut so we can see what looks good ON ME. He said something like them not having enough time and I reminded him that I called ahead to ask if this was okay. It was obvious he was mad and I was embarrassed. Francesca did her best to rectify the situation and did a fine job in the wig trimming but after this debacle, I decided to take my business to another salon.

I’ve been a loyal customer to this place for over two years now. I am always short on time and never know when I will have 20 minutes to get a hair cut. I end up calling an hour or two in advance and they never say no! I’ve gotten my hair cut by at lest four different stylists there and never walked out disappointed. Great place, warm atmosphere, good people. I strongly recommend giving them a try!
PS. I brought a gel product from them and asked a couple stupid questions on the best way to use it. I was very happy with the answers and suggestions they gave me and didn’t feel stupid afterwards :)

I’m really disappointed to see such low reviews. When I was a kid, I was brought here a few times and had wonderful experiences.
Actually on Christmas Eve, my friend and I were urgently looking for a place to get our hair done, and this place was open. The woman who did our hair (I cannot recall her name) did a great job and really seemed to enjoy working there. My friend got a color and I got a cut and she managed to multitask between both of us and made our hair look BEAUTIFUL! The prices are a little high but you get your money’s worth. Overall I was quite satisfied with our service and I would go there again.

I’m actually from Arlington Heights, IL, and everytime I’m in town for a period of time I’m always going to this salon. As every girl enjoys a good blow out, or hair cut/​style — I get lazy doing my own hair. I have naturally curly and thick, long hair, so it really helps when I get my hair done bi-​weekly because of my shoulder surgery previously. The ambiance here at Adam & Eve is absolutely great. It’s a very posh salon and spa, with exceptional service. I really felt at home when walking in and very welcomed. It’s also very close to where I used to live which is always nice to get a walk down memory lane. Normally, I’m very, VERY picky on who and what is being done with my hair (which I take VERY high pride in)… I’m always getting a long cut with layers and/​or just a great blow out style. The stylists always actually listen to what I want regarding length. It is truly important for me to get a good hair style/​cut because that’s everything a person first notices next to your smile. I have no hesitations or reservations in recommending this salon to anyone!

Adam & Eve is a fabulous upscale salon with all the comforts of home. Anna does my hair and it always looks fabulous. I also recommend if your looking for a great pedicure, Anita is your tech. Great Salon!

I’ve gotten great haircuts from Frank and have been very happy with the cut and styling.

My boyfriend went in for a guys cut with Marzena and it was awful. I am not a hair stylist but it was obvious it was not a good cut. I could see the different sections, it looked more like a military cut then an up to date one, it was really unblended. I hope he doesn’t go again! I only give it two stars because a different place cut his ears once and that’s the only cut that’s been worse.

I went to the salon on a recommendation of a friend. I came in for highlights (my hair is medium brown) — ended up getting some kind of partial orange color – I thought she was putting in highlights, ended up she was doing a partial color. I also inquired about the free haircut w/​coloring/​highlights that was advertised on website. Lady told me that was a mistake, but would give me a free (uneven crappy) cut for free and w/​an atitude I might add. Anna is very nice, but when someone comes in for highlights-​they shouldnt be walking out w/​orange hair. Go to crysalis in rosemont, Christina is much better !!!

Went there for a haircut for the first time and wasn’t disappointed or overly impressed. The place itself is very cute and clean. Their website is very well-​done and I was able to make an appointment for later the same day I called. Make sure you either have cash or a separate check for the gratuity, however, because they won’t put it on a credit or debit card. I had to run across the street to the Chase bank and come back to tip my stylist.

I was looking for a good master who can do highlights without me loosing my hair and I found her in Adam&Eve! Marzhena (I’m not sure that I spell it right :) did a great job! I was so happy that my husband went there for haircut. He liked it too!
I would highly recommend her to everybody
