L A Stereo & Tinting

Dont come here… look at my pictures below. they sent me home with my tail lights like this and said it was okay. I looked at it the next day and it was totally not okay. The guy with the 240 sx did it. Now my tail lights are damaged at the edges and my paint is scratched and melted also at the edges from careless use of the heat gun. When i told them the guy messed up my paint with the heat gun they said my car already was like that from the body shop to try to avoid the blame (how shallow and dishonest) At this point I knew they werent gonna take responsibly for it so I just told them give the refund for the tint and forget my damaged paint. I got my refund for the tint and the guy who was there (James) even admitted that it was done wrong and agreed with the refund. i wanted and extra $ 90 for neglect and messing up my paint and tail lights but they tried to blame it on the body shop so I just left it alone and will be reporting this to the better business bureau. Im so mad they melted my clear coat off with the heat gun .my paint job is only 3 weeks old also. Pics are below. UPDATE 12−4−15: James from LA stereo and tint left unprofessional comments to me and lied to me on their Facebook page. You can go see our whole conversation there. V Hugo the previous owner contacted me on facebook and apologized for Jame’s unprofessionalism towards me and even offered to refund me the $ 90 himself. But I didnt take the money since he had nothing to do with the situation and is not the owner. I want the owner of the shop to pay me.

First and foremost they tell you exactly how much you are expected to pay. Been coming here for many years. Their customer service is straight forward and no strings attached. They are friendly and their prices are fair. They even offer warranties for the service. Will definitely be back.

Hello people:
So I had about 3 types of lights to install.
I went here and it was done fast and pricy of course. Anything around the valley is always expensive and bad quality, anyways so they did the job. About 2 weeks later I noticed that the cables from the installation were coming out, meaning visible and what was my surprise: they did all 3 big connections and lights installations with blue speaker cable. Come on LA tint, what would you do that. Good thing I saved the receipts so if I ever need to prove that they did job, I already have it.

This shop is incompetent and not to be trusted! I took my BMW 745 there about 5 months ago and before anything I asked them if they knew how to fix stereos in these types of cars, they guaranteed me they could get it done, so I went ahead and trusted them, terrible mistake!!! They lied from the beginning! They could not fix the original as they said they would and still charged me $ 300 for nothing. Then they said they could not find another original stereo as they promised and instead I bought a ken wood that went bad in the first week. Then they replaced it but did not install it right! Then they told me I had to get a new amp if I wanted all the speakers to work so I did. Till this day these characters were not able to fix my stereo which turns off on its own and the extra amp was not set up properly so I STILL don’t have music coming out of 2 speakers, and To top things off this guys still have the audacity to tell me to bring it back to them after they had it for about 2 weeks straight and after that I still went back and forth from there and Nothing!!! They know damn well there wasting my time and ripping me off but refuse to refund me to take it to a professional shop who has already said this is not the first time he has fixed there problems before. Do yourself a favor and elsewhere!!!

Took my scion here for a sub box got a good deal brought my scion back for a window tint they did an amazing job ! I sent them my friend with his BMW now ima send em my cousin hell be dropping in sometime soon and I’ll be around to do a few couple mods to my BMW ;), really good place I recommend it

I had two car tinted here. One six months ago and another one now. They do a great job for a very reasonable price. They are always crowded because they do a very good job.
Took them ½ hour to tint my car (a Prius V), and it’s not a small car. They had 4 guys working on my car. i guess they get so much business that they need 4 guys.
If you ever need a tint, come here. you won’t be disappointed.

Just got my windows tinted here, they did a great job! Limo tint all legal on the back with lifetime warranty for just over a hundred. Not bad took about an 1 ½ hours and I was back on the road.
