I have been in the family business since our beginning. While working in the family business, I am also continuing my education, and my goal is to become a Solar PV Designer.

G & J Cleaning Services has been cleaning our office for over 5 years. Rob and his staff have provided us with excellent service. They do all of our carpets, floors and windows in addition to the nightly service. We initially hired them to do a final cleaning right after our facility was built. We were very happy with the service, therefore we hired them for our nightly maintenance. We look forward to a long term with them.

Amazing… beautiful my sister and me are hard to impress. We have furniture from Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel, my sis was concerned about these pieces not being cleaned properly or scratched… But we Picked the right company. G and J were detailed, cleaned every corner… They moved furniture carefully. The bathrooms were left spotless and the whole house with a fresh scent. Dishonest and unprofessional. Awful business.
I called for an appointment and left a message. No one called me back.
I called again three days later. We made an appointment — they were no call, no show.
I bought a Groupon and he refused to honor it unless I agreed to extra fees (of an unknown amount). Basically he said he wouldn’t take the Groupon unless I agreed to pay whatever extra amount he added on last second. So dishonest.

Horrible service!!! Cancelled last minute, promised to reschedule for next day but then disappeared and didn’t respond up any calls or texts when I tried to reschedule and set a time. Basically stood me up.
Similar to other reviews, stay away…
Poor service and not reliable or professional. Would not recommend. Concerns me also that all reviews mentioned items being stolen.

Tried out G&J through Living Social. Main problem: they showed up MORE THAN 3 HOURS LATE at a time we did not agree to. So, I could not tell them what I wanted done.
–House was partially cleaned and a mediocre job at best.
–I had to work hard to make sure that they showed up at all (for a date and time Jovial chose).
–They brought little-​to-​no supplies and bent the bristles of my broom trying to scrub the kitchen floor with it. (Had I not been putting toddlers to bed, I’d have handed them my supplies and told them what I wanted done.)
I could tell they had had a long, hot day and needed to get home to their families too. So, I tipped them and let them on their way. I still had marks on walls. My baseboards were dusty as were all of my window sills. It was pretty clear that they had given their all elsewhere that day.
I texted Jovial the next day letting him know that I was not pleased and why. To this day I have never heard back
Details of scheduling:
–Tried reaching them for days.
–April 28 I call again. JOVIAL CHOSE THE DATE OF FRI., MAY 16. He asked me to call 1 – 2 days prior and they would tell me what time they would come.
–I CALLED 2 DAYS PRIOR to scheduled service. JOVIAL TOLD ME TO EXPECT THEM AT 3:00 PM.
–Noon on the day of service I left VM checking in to ask if they were running on schedule or behind. I said we would be waiting around for their arrival so to please let us know; I do not hear back.
–3:30 PM I leave another VM asking if they are still coming. (They are now 30 mins late.)
–4:49 PM I text Jovial to please let us know if someone is coming or not and that we would like to do other things if no one can make it.
–5:00 PM Jovial calls saying that he was not sure if someone would make it to our house. HE ASKS IF THEY CAN COME IN ANOTHER 30 — 45 MINUTES. (5:30−5:45 PM). I tell him yes.
Details of cleaning:
–6:10 PM THEY SHOW UP. Jovial and about four or five cleaners show up apologetically. At this point, I am putting toddlers to bed and am not available to tell G&J what it is we want done or show them my cleaning supplies.
–They made my bed, vacuumed, cleaned my refrigerator and a baby gate. They put toys in the toy box. They cleaned my bathroom.
–Meanwhile, Jovial had left and I couldn’t communicate with the cleaners.
–They stayed about 40 minutes — 1 hour. (Left approx 7:00 PM).

I wish you could give negative stars on Unilocal.I’ve worked with A LOT of professional cleaning companies and contracted services before, but I’ve never come across one so unprofessional as G&J.
I wish I would have read some of these reviews on Unilocal before-​hand to save myself the hassle.
Like many others, I purchased the voucher for their cleaning services. Either 3 hour service or else 2 people for 1.5 hours. When they gave me the run-​around about not being able to get anything scheduled in time, we were FINALLY able to get something booked by re-​arranging everything and going completely out of our way to accommodate their time. They were so far out on booking, I had to schedule over a week in advance.
We’ve been holding up moving into our new space to get them to come clean the floors of single, open, large, empty room. it wouldn’t even take the full time of the voucher we purchased.
We were scheduled for yesterday and they didn’t show up. After calling several times to find out where they were, they finally answered and said they would see what was going on.
That was over 24 hours ago and here I am left holding he bag and lost another day waiting to get moved in.
No word or call back. I’ve called over 10 times and left messages and they refuse to answer or respond. In fact, it seems like they have both my home and cell number programmed so that when I call, half the time it rings a couple times and the line goes dead so I can’t leave a message anymore.
RIDICULOUS!!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!

I’m writing this review to save $ 15 as he’s lurking over my shoulder… I’m all for saving $$ but unfortunately I wasn’t too happy with the professionalism and I knew it wouldn’t be that great of a review… but here it is…
Let’s start with something positive… They cleaned well and fast. Got the job done in 1 hour with 3 people in a 2 bedroom apt. They were also nice people and the ladies were professional however they couldn’t speak English so how could they not be polite. They just smile. :)
Okay… now… LOTS OF RED FLAGS to start with! I understand stuff happens but this is a lot of stuff… Maybe I just expect too much, like respect and professionalism…
They were 25 minutes late for an 8am start time.
We couldn’t use the Groupon because of short notice which was not cool. So now we have to have them come back.
He asked if there was a parking spot he could use… luckily my BF was gone so they can park behind my car but there is a LOT of street parking and if you read the signs you would know it… but ok.
They brought a team of 3 to clean for 1 hour instead of 1 person for 3 hours which is what we ordered. That’s not so bad but now they have to finish everything in an hour and he said if they can’t I’ll have to pay (which they did and I didn’t have to pay more, YAY!).
The guy then said his phone was stolen the night before so they can only accept cash BUT I don’t pay in cash so they had to accept a check.
As stated above, only 1 out of the 3 people speak English which makes it difficult to request something to be cleaned without having to go to the guy. Not that big of a deal but still…
Are they suppose to use your cleaning supplies and equipment? They used a couple of my brooms, a mop, and some cleaning wipes/​sprays etc then threw the mops and brooms back in the cabinet instead of hanging them like they were leaving the cabinet messy. I’m also missing a spray bottle with my own solution of vinegar and water that I use on a daily basis… now I could’ve misplaced it myself but it’s weird it’s gone. Off to target I go…
Overall I’m happy with the cleaning job. They saved me a lot of time doing it myself.
I will have to use them again because we have a Groupon sooo… hopefully the next time, they have their sh*t together and come on time and have a bit more respect for my place and put things back like the way they were.

DO NOT BUY THIS GROUPON!!! Bought two weeks ago, submitted their contact form on their website TWICE, emailed the email on their website once, left voice messages TWICE and STILL NO ONE has reached out to me to schedule service. Awful. Their customer service SUCKS!!! I’m contacting Groupon and Better Business Bureau to report this unprofessional scam of a business. I suggest never ever ever using this company

I had a voucher for a four hour cleaning several months ago. They did an adequate job, but stole a bottle of perfume. It was inexpensive and not a favorite, so I let it go. The risk of letting strangers into my home, I figured.
For some reason I decided to give them a second chance (only because there was another voucher). This time they didn’t show up. I called and was told that my appointment had accidentally been scheduled for the following day. I agreed to rearrange my life for the second day in a row in order to accommodate their mistake. Again, they didn’t show. Again, I called. This time they didn’t pick up and have not returned my call. I requested a refund from Amazon Local and certainly will not be giving them a third chance.
UPDATE: Oh, for Pete’s sake. The owner is now threatening to sue me if I don’t remove my review. Good luck with that.
What motivation do I have to lie about this? You honestly think I have nothing better to do than to make up bad Unilocal reviews of random cleaning companies? Please.
I didn’t report the missing perfume because it only cost me $ 11 and it wasn’t worth my time to invite more crappy customer service drama into my life. I don’t know anything about your voucher policy, but we moved two months ago, so if your system only recognizes addresses, that would be why it didn’t recognize mine.
As for the rest of your response, blah, blah, blah. I’m not interested in lip service that isn’t backed by anything. My experience with you was unacceptable. End of story.

Signed up for Unilocal just to write this review! Wish I could give zero stars. What a nightmare. I was going to use an Angie’s List coupon for their services. When I inquired about it, Rosember basically did the whole «oh, you know, those services are limited. Blah blah. You’d be better off just going through us directly. » Yeah, so you can bypass their cut and keep it all for yourself. Classy. But I was in a bind, and really needed it done. So against my better judgement, I hired them.
They were nearly an hour late. Rosember quoted 3 workers for 2 hours but said upon arrival that there would be only two. At first I was very impressed with the quality of work. Until I noticed 4 days later the broke a one– of-​a-​kind statuette, and didn’t bother to inform us. When they finished, I called to ask if the price would change for fewer workers, he promised me a $ 30 refund when he picked them up. Nope. Apparently he picked them up and took off. Nice. Well, needless to say, I’m still waiting for that to materialize. And of course all of my emails have gone unanswered. To sum up: He manipulated me, lied to me, essentially stole money from me, and his workers broke an irreplaceable statuette. HORRIBLE!!! I wish I had looked at the reviews here first. God I wish I could go back in time and make this horrible experience go away. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

Arrived nearly an hour late. Lied about phone not having power so he couldn’t call me – he was texting during service! Were not able to follow basic instructions in English. Didn’t clean counter tops in kitchen — still crumbs all over! What on earth were they doing? Threw trash in my recycle bin that I told them «This is the recycle bin.» I told not to bother with floors and instead did my floors — wasting the time I’d ask them to do other things. Used a broom with a wet towel wrapped around it as their version of a cheap mop. Smeared the floors that I’d ALREADY cleaned and now have to clean again!
WORST service EVER!

Where do I begin? I bought the amazon local deal for 4 hours of cleaning service. The gentlemen I spoke with was horrible at scheduling. He contacted me 4 seperate times to change times and dates. Then the two women showed up 3 hours before the scheduled appointment. They were completely unprepared. They didn’t have a mop. They didn’t have a broom. They didn’t have a vacuum. Gimme a break.
They did a half assed job on everything. I had to clean the entire house over again after they left. AVOID THESE GUYS LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Unfortunately this company provided terrible service!
We bought the voucher on Amazon Local for 4 hours of cleaning.
They showed up at 2:45pm for a 10am appointment! The young man in charge, Rosenbur, is very, very unprofessional, seriously unqualified and in over his head. He had the nerve to ask for $ 35 extra when they worked an extra 15 minutes… After arriving more than 4 hours late lol
After the cleaning crew left, I noticed our broom was missing. When I notified him the broom was taken, Rosenbur apologized and swore he was a man of «integrity» and that it would be returned that night… It was actually returned 2 weeks later.
The cleaning provide was ok, nothing great.
Please stay far away from this company!

I have never written a review on Unilocal,but I am compelled to warn people about this service. This was hands down the most UNPROFESSIONAL and UNRELIABLE service I have ever dealt with. DO NOT USE THEM!
Here’s the story: I purchased a voucher on LivingSocial, and scheduled a 3:30 appointment with them. I was running errands all day, but made sure to be at the house at 3:20… well, 3:30 came and went so I gave them a call. The guy on the phone told me that they were there at 3:20 and called me, but since I didn’t pick up, they left. There are several things wrong with this picture:
1) I WAS home at 3:20
2) I never got any missed calls from them and I have NEVER had any issues with receiving calls on my phone. Ever.
3) If they were in fact here and they did in fact call me, they should have waited around for 10 minutes until the scheduled appointment time.
It goes on though. After explaining these things to him, he said he actually arrived at 3:15. After explaining again that he should have waited for 15 minutes, he changed his story again and said that he was actually at the house at 3! I told him that if he came half an hour early to an appointment, he should be prepared to wait around for half an hour for it to begin. I cannot be expected to wait around all day for him. He kept saying that it was my fault because I didn’t pick up my phone, which they took to understand as a cancelation.
1) I spoke to him earlier in the day to confirm our time.
2) Again, no missed calls
3) He was clearly LYING about being here
I didn’t ask them back and will never contact them again. They really screwed me over because I had guests coming over.
In a nutshell, these guys are LIARS, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND RUDE. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT YOU SHOULD TRY LITERALLY ANY OTHER SERVICE! Save yourself the anger and frustration!

I found them through an Amazon Local deal. I got what I paid for. I scheduled an appointment, and made it clear I was trying to clean up after construction in my home. The day before they called to see if I could push by 3 hours. I rearranged my schedule to accommodate them, found a neighbor who could help me out to greet them in case I couldn’t get out of work on time. They showed up an hour early, which created further chaos.
I left a detailed note for what needed to be done in what priority order, and he still called to confirm what I wanted done. I showed up partway through the clean, and the guy was on the phone scheduling appointments, which didn’t seem efficient considering he was holding up my appointment. He asked again what I wanted done (what had they been doing until that point?)
Flash forward to me getting home from work to a dirty apartment. Dust wiped from some surfaces, smeared around others. An air conditioning vent I’d specifically pointed out as dusty, still covered in dust. Kitchen counter, gritty. And call me old fashioned, but if it doesn’t smell like any sort of cleaning agents were used, it doesn’t smell «clean.» Not to mention it didn’t look clean. I was horrified, and did call to report my dissatisfaction before making this post. He said that my house was a lot more work than 2 people could deal with in 3 hours, and technically my online voucher shouldn’t have counted because it was a post construction cleaning (which I’d made very clear when making the appointment and in detailing the work I wanted done!).
So, so, so angry and frustrated. Will never use this service again. Completely unprofessional — not a good impression for a first time (and only) client.

After waiting one hour after my appointment time I called the company. I told the man they were late and haven’t even bothered to let me know. He sounded like he didn’t care so I cancelled the appointment. He made no effort to save the appointment. Guess he didn’t care about losing a customer and doesn’t need the business.

I scheduled an appointment with this cleaning service company about 2 weeks in advance. I accommodated their request for early arrival, although it was not convenient for me since I have a 10-​month old baby. I scheduled all my day around taking into consideration their service. On the day of service nobody showed up. I called 1.5 hours later to find out that they had a wrong number and a wrong address which was very odd since I repeated my number and spelled the address several times. Manager who was scheduling an appointment even spelled it back to me.
He apologized for inconvenience and asked for half an hour to resolve the problem. Of course, he didn’t call back and he did not pick up the phone when I called back. Awful service that I would not recommend to anyone.
