Great manis and pedis and very reasonable. I got gel done here for my wedding and it looked incredible. Only con is it can be a little impersonal and there is no sense of space like in the new one. Would love it if they could remodel.

The prices here are pretty cheap compared to most nail salons in the area

However, the staff will rush to get you done and out the door and it feels very impersonal. I’ve had numerous mani/​pedis here mostly for the convenient location and they always want to do both at the same time while I’m in the pedi chair! They are also incredibly rude about asking for a tip. I’d recommend paying a little more and going elsewhere.

If it were possible to give a zero rating, I most definitely would. I have had friends and coworkers who have come here as well, who couldn’t believe I had not given them up yet. It takes me a long time time to give up on something, but it has finally come! I have finally had it!
I had come to Fiji Nails (between their 2 locations) for years, actually. As I write this, truly feeling like an idiot; the only reason I ever continued to come is their late hours, as it worked best with my schedule.
On the surface, the establishments look lovely… BEWARE… however… all is certainly not what meets the eye! Some of the workers are truly caring and honest, however, many of them are extremely nasty, unprofessional and don’t give a hoot about you whatsoever. When a problem arises, the female owner, Kim, is extremely rude and has absolutely no concept of customer service. There is also a very short woman who works there, SUV, lic. plate GMM9772 who is amazingly nasty as well. Each of these comments are based on eye witnessed events, over and over again to fellow customers as well as to myself.
There is a constant push to upsell, rush through services, cut services despite the price you pay, argue with you about little things like filling the side of a nail that might later snag pantyhose, treat you like a non person — answering their phones and talking to one another constantly during your services, nickeling and diming for extras that no one told you about till after they are already done, etc. No one here seems to have any clue how to do even a 10 minute mini massage… they repeatedly go over the same tiny spot while talking to their coworkers. They will rush customers out at 9pm, regardless if they are dry or not. They have no problem arguing with customers in front of other customers. There is no consistantcy regarding pricing, what’s included in a service, length of time for a Spa Pedicure, and the list goes on!
Please save yourself the aggravation and find another salon! Learn from my mistakes, value yourself as I am now. You have been warned with the utmost caring :)

I have been going to Fiji since it opened about 5 years ago. The staff is professional and courteous. They offer you various services, all of which are performed well. Sometimes I treat myself to a short massage, sometimes I run in for a quick polish change. Whether I’m spending $ 20 or $ 100 I expect good service and excellent results which they always deliver. The owner, Kim, takes pride in customer service and satisfaction and it shows.

I feel sorry for the women that work here. I live down the street so I have been to Fiji many times out of convenience but I have to say these girls never seem to have a day off and work super long hours. I also feel that the cleanliness of the salon has drastically gone down, despite getting new pedicure chairs. I’ve noticed that the technicians reuse the same disposable gloves all day and the nail polish definitely has way too much thinner in it. I wish management would pay closer attention to detail and stop running this place like a sweat shop!

I used to go to Fiji all of the time, cheap prices, only nail salon around back then, so it was easy. I had moved to a place in Manayunk and was getting my nails done up there for a while. I came home to my parents house and decided to give Fiji a try again. HORRIBLE idea. I got a full set, not a single nail was shaped, there are bubbles in all of them, the longer you get your nails the more they charge you, he was rough, he rushed, and they look absolutely horrible.
I figured to relax I would get a massage. It was not a massage, it was a rub down. They are money hungry people, they are rude about requesting a tip and they will do anything to suck all the money out of you.
I would suggest NEVER going to this place, if I could have given it 0 stars I would have.

Nice facilities but they asked me to tip before they even started… My nails are okay but I would’ve been better off going to my steady handed friend. Will not return

I have previously visited Fiji and I have always received a decent mani/​pedi for what I was paying. today I went and got a gel manicure and pedicure. they did it all at the same time. my nails turned out horrible and the polish was very thick. Yes this is a cheaper place but honestly you get what you pay for and if you’re looking for a horrible manicure this is the place to go.

This past sunday was my third time at this establishment and I must say this was my worst experience here. I opted to a mani-​pedi and while my pedicurist was very attentive and did a great job my manicurist was very curt and did a rush job.
This establishment typically does your mani and pedi at this same time which I find annoying but for the $ 25 price tag I can live with that. Personally when I come to a salon, I am coming to relax and do not want to feel rushed and that’s exactly how I felt this week.
Also it would be nice if I could leave the tip on my card. I do not want to be charged additional fees using the atm machine on location. Overall, if I do come back it will only be for pedicure.

I recently had a pedicure, gel manicure, and eyebrow wax done here. I think I’ve found my new «spot» lol friendly, clean, affordable, nice set up, and my eyebrows are EXACTLY how I wanted them to be… Because she did EXACTLY what I asked her to do… (Lee did them) the only reason I did not give 5 stars is because they don’t have a very wide selection of gel colors.

Cheap prices, but AWFUL customer service! I felt they treated me differently because I am not from here. Massages are included if we spend over $ 40. I spent over $ 50 and nothing. They rushed through my services and basically pushed me over to the front. I would give this horrible establishment ZERO stars if possible. Never again!

Very inconsistent service and unprofessional staff. The products used are damaging and drying. My skin feels rough and dry after wash service and the polish chips after a few days. If you are seeking multiple services do not expect one technician to handle them. A different tech for each service… mani, pedi, waxing, etc. It may appear to be for efficiency’s sake but this will require multiple tips. I ended up paying double for my service as a result. I am no longer a client.

The service is basically what you pay for, the people are constantly bugging you to get another service while you’re gettin your nails done. They hassle you to get a massage or eyebrow wax and when you are finished. The quality of the nails isn’t that great. Mine chipped the next day

Factory. Poor service. Loud. Constant pressure for an upsell. Yes, it is cheap but not extremely cheap. Coupons seem to be the way to go. The nail polish never lasts more than a couple of days and they INSIST on clipping cuticles. It is a miracle that one doesn’t get infected. There are many, many other places to go that are superior to this place.

Everyone here lies. they lie about everything – their polishes are watered down, they tell you 5 minutes when they know it’s going to be 15, they make appointments when they know the operator is not there. They don’t give a hoot about you as a customer – it’s a cheap, convenient factory. Be careful the operators run from great to horrible.

So, I have to start off by saying that I personally have never had a mani/​pedi. I was excited to go for the first time and know several friends of mine go here often. THe first major problem I had was the receptionist was trying to upsell the services I wanted. I asked about gel polish, only to find out it would double the price of a regular mani/​pedi. I said I just wanted something basic, nothing fancy. My fiancé went with me so he could get his dirty work nails cleaned and his yucky dinosaur toenails trimmed up. We sat in the seats and right away 2 women, who I hate to say it, but I couldn’t understand a word. I brought a picture of a design I wanted on two of my nails. They kept asking me to reopen the picture because they forgot what it was. It was literally white with red stripes!
They were extremely rough with the filing and cutting of my nails, and then at one point the bowl you put your nails into was knocked over into my lap. Needless to say I wasn’t very happy about that. The older woman doing my toenails was so aggresive! She ended up cutting my big toe open in the corner, then tried to hide it. She then put some type of glue on it then shoved my foot back into the tub. It hurt more than anything I’ve ever felt in my foot. The mani/​pedi was cute, but was so/​so on quality.
Over the next few days my toe kept hurting more and more, and I eventually couldn’t wear closed shoes! I ended up having to go to a podiatrist, when I found out that I got an infection in my foot! So, now I’ve been on antibiotics for 2 weeks, 4 times a day. They kill my stomach and have been causing gasto issues. All because of a stupid, expensive pedi.
Not worth the time, pain or anger.

Horrible. Got my gel refill and pedicure on Friday, it’s only Monday and my polish is chipping. I have never been to a salon that charges $ 15 for gel polish. I asked how much a gel refill was and the lady doing my nails said $ 15 but when I went to check out they told me $ 30. No consistency. I will never return and they’re so rude. Please take your $ and business elsewhere.

Good prices on services and an abundance of colors to choose from. Fiji has lots of staff and stations, but there is definitely still a wait on weekends. The place does not smell of the toxic chemicals they use and they have nice massage chairs when you get a pedicure. It’s not too hard to be upsold here. Would go back.

Fiji nails… How do I say this in the nicest way possible? I HATE IT! First of all, the worker said it was a 5 minute wait, I don’t think an hour and 5 minutes are the same… And when I put my feet in the water, it was burning hot I yelled and she did nothing. Then I asked very politely for a really good foot rub, it stunk. I could go on and on but to cut to the chase, I highly suggest that you go somewhere else.

This place does nails well and does them cheap.
This place does NOT do customer service. I was in the area for a bachelorette party and we had made appointments for eight of us to get manicures and pedicures. When we walked in, they weren’t expecting us and didn’t have any room for any of us. So unbelievably rude, especially for what was supposed to be a memorable event.
Oh, and the employees incessantly offer waxing services. Three different employees asked if I wanted my lips or brows waxed.
Also, they have this ghetto flourescent light feature over the nail polish shelves — so you can’t get an accurate look at the colors. This exemplifies the lack of detail at the place.
One final note — «Restaurant Stakeout» is not the type of TV women want to relax to. As difficult as that is to imagine.
