History

Established in 1987.

This biz is about the Love of Bowling and it’s the story of 2 people who are the same owners from the start: David Oakes and Louis Gentile, Jr. Years ago Dave and I were bowling at Wynnewood Lanes and the person that was running the Pro Shop before us left in December of 1986 and it was vacant. So Dave and I wanted to open the Pro Shop and we did after a number of Lease attempts with our original Landlord Anthony «Tony» Amarosa and was successful on October 17, 1987 when all 3 of us after a number of changes came up with what Tony wanted «A Simple Lease» — Then it took until November 10, 1987 to get the Pro Shop all ready for our Grand Opening. The Shop was at the same location (where the snack bar is now) but was moved and in January 2005 we opened in the vending area and are still there. May 2005 we added a vending machine outside the Pro Shop. Many businesses fail in the 1^st year: Being in biz for such a long time with the same 2 owners D & L is a huge accomplishment! — Louis, Jr.
