Ardmore Service Center

I brought my car in to Mario based on great reviews. I needed to find out why my engine light kept popping on. Turned out not to be too big a deal. Out of nowhere, he said he would be charging me $ 120 for the estimate!!! In what universe do you take your car in for an estimate, and get charged quite a bit of money without being told you are going to be charged?! I came to get the car, and he charged me $ 120 PLUS tax. Honestly, he seemed to be enjoying himself, seeing how angry I was.
I got in the car, and the empty fuel light was on, although I had left it the day before with a quarter tank of gas. Had to rush around trying to find a gas station. Final straw, I noticed my super fab custom order keychain (a gift), was ruined. I called, and Mario pretended he had NO idea what I was talking about. He was SO RUDE. He told me to go check the car. I did, and half of the keychain was sitting in my cup holder, snapped in half. (See picture). So, I guess someone there broke it, and left it there for me.

Ardmore Service Center was my auto shop of choice when I lived in the area. My girlfriend and I both brought our cars here for over 2 years and in that time we received nothing less then good work at an honest price. This included inspections and standard fixes. When one car had major problems, they were helpful and went over the pros and cons of actually fixing the car versus getting rid of it. They were also very helpful in pointing out a major problem when were considering buying a used car. Overall great service.
