Established in 2013.

The Law Offices of Deacon Zhang (a.k.a. Visatopia) sprung from Attorney Daqin (Deacon) Zhang’s vision and belief that America is a utopia under the stars and rainbows, and that nothing should get in the way of an individual’s journey to achieving the American Dream.

In 2013, Mr. Zhang set out to establish his own law firm. The firm began humbly enough: with one attorney and law clerk at one office location. However, since then, the firm has experienced meteoric growth, and now boasts having over 50 years of legal experience among its several attorneys, a plethora of law clerks and support staff, and three strategic office locations in Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego County.

Mr. Zhang is an experienced U.S. immigration attorney who is a licensed member of the New York State Bar, Utah State Bar, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and the United States Supreme Court Bar. Once an immigrant himself, Mr. Zhang is intimately familiar with the immigration challenges that frequently confront foreigners and the journey of pursing the American dream.

Mr. Zhang earned his J.D. from Brigham Young University in 2004. Prior to starting his own law practice, Mr. Zhang practiced at Zhang & Associates, P.C. for 8 years, where he was a shareholder and the managing attorney for the firm’s branch offices in Los Angeles. Before that, Mr. Zhang practiced with Kirton & McConkie, a full-​service law firm in Salt Lake City that handles a substantial number of international financing and cross-​border investments.

Since immigrating to the U.S., Mr. Zhang has dedicated his life to helping others realize their own American Dream.
