Rusty is great — very honest, knowledgeable and fair. He is like a friend to my Mercedes (and me). So please… you guys should go somewhere else so I could keep him as our secret mechanics (joking).
You would be glad you come to Rusty first and you will be in good hands. :)

Ive got one word to say… Amazing! Wait, I think I need to say it again… Amazing!
So here was my situation… My personal vehicle is also used as a company vehicle. I heard this loud squealing noise under the hood and what does any girl do? Ask her brother for help of coarse. We went over to the local Pep Boys and to the tune of over $ 1200, Manny, Moe and Jack were defiantly not looking like the 3 best friends my car ever had. Even better I was told that as long as the noise didnt bother me it should be ok…
So then we did what we should have done in the first place and called Rusty. We sent him a video of what was going on and he immediately diagnosed the problem and said under no means should I drive the vehicle anymore because of the damage it could cause. So I had the car towed from Orange County and before it was even on the bed of the tow truck the part was already ordered and a few hours later I got the call that it was good to go and I could come pick it up.
Not only did it NOT squeak anymore but in my opinion it runs better than before. I do a lot of driving and the piece of mind I now have that I wont break down 100 miles away from home is priceless!

By far the best mechanic around, knows his stuff and loves what he does. I had a broken fuel pump on my 2004 Jetta TDI. Took it to a local mechanic and was quoted a $ 1200 price not including the labor. The part alone from the dealership was that much. I was flabbergasted.
I called Rusty and he told me to bring it up so he could take a look. Got it towed up from La Mirada and hoped my car was salvageable. I got a call two days later and he told me I had broken a bold inside the pump itself. But because this man loves what he does and to just fix things. He disassembled it found the necessary parts and reassembled it. One day later I got a call telling me I can come get my car.
Walked out of there paying more then half of what the other guy was going to charge me. By far the best mechanic out there.

My family and I have been taking our cars to Rusty for a few years now. Even though his shop is about 30 miles from our home, we will make the drive or have our car towed to him no matter what. He is by far the best out there! We love that we can take not only our Mercedez to him but our Toyota and Honda’s too. Rusty is a very honest and humble man. He is never out to rip you off and will tell you how it is. He definitely doesn’t give up either! If you take your car to him and the problem isn’t fixed, he will work on your car until it is and follow up with you afterwards. Thats what I call great customer service! Rusty has become our family mechanic and I promise, you will not be disappointed with his services!

This place has seriously saved me twice now. Rusty himself is a really down to earth, no BS kind of guy. When the VW dealership in Pasadena was giving me the run around about a major repair I needed, he offered to give me a second opinion. He then offered to drive it back to the dealership FOR me after they decided to cover the repair under warranty. Who does that?! So freaking awesome! Now I highly doubt this is something he offers to do for everyone so don’t go asking him to do that hahaha, I think he just felt bad I had to tow my car to him then back to the dealership.
I ended up having him replace my air filter and spark plugs. He was fast, efficient and so accommodating. He even asked for updates and gave me professional advice while my car was being repaired at the dealership.
This place is one in a million! Two thumbs up!

Rusty and his mechanic are a great team, my 1986 benz was running like a slug and they found the problem and fixed it. My car is like a bullet now. Thanks Rusty and team! highly recommended! Very proffessional and nice, he will also offer to pick up. Very good place.

Rusty has been my mechanic on my 2002 VW Passat and an occasional job on my wife’s Scion XA. I love coming to Rusty, he always has an answer to my probems and only uses the best parts.

Rusty has always taken great care of my ML350. I never have to worry that the work was done right. I have recommended him to several of my friends and they all thank me for the referral.

Not just my Mercedes, but I take my Rolls and Prius there as well.
He is very honest, he answers all my questions without hesitation.
I’m not a car expert but I don’t need to be with Rusty.
Prices are great. Dealers are not only a rip off but they try to sell you stuff you don’t need. Rusty doesn’t t do that.
My cars run right the first time.

I own a 1971 volkswagon classic vehicle I called prior to arriving to make sure the mechanic is a specialist and has the knowledge to repair my vehicle with the mechanic stating his a professional I drove my car in once he took my disturbator cap off mest the whole timming belt up and couldnt even fix it and had to get my van towed out he mest my vehicle up this jose mechanic! I was very upset and all he did was apologize and closed the shop never in my life have I experince such a terrible service will not recommend this place to anyone and would not trust this mechanic even with this location being near home I thought would be best but made the worst decision I was best driving the distance to a specialist far from home who could be helpful

I had my brakes pads replaced along with the standard service A at rusty because I’m too cheap n broke to go to the dealer, but I think I might have found permanent service mechanic.
Talk about door to door service, rusty personally came to pick me up after my car was done. I was so surprised n mpressed! His prices r great n he knows what he’s doing. My car ran so smoothly after the service, my mpg even improved. he services everything from Mercedes to BMW to jaguars and even bentleys.
If u have mountains of cash to burn, go ahead and continue going to the dealer but if ur like majority of ppl in this economy, get a quote from rusts first.

Competent, effective and reasonably priced. Rusty got the job done and saved me a mountains of cash, too, vs. going to the dealer with my ’07 BMW.

Same thing as MB just said — Kinda like that old school lawyer commercial «Larry H. Parker got me 2.1 million dollars» — the only difference is «Rusty saved me $ 2700» from what Villa Ford of Tustin wanted to charge me. Let alone the service that I was receiving at Villa Ford was horrible!
After getting so frustrated with Villa Ford once they told me it would be $ 6500 I demanded they give me my truck back after the initial inspection so that I can take my truck elsewhere. I bought the car from Villa Ford and would have never imagined that they would have treated me the way they did by not taking the time to figure out what the true problem is.
Anyways, I brought it from Villa Ford to a Friends mechanic which was a nightmare to say the least. Even worse, parts all over the place. I’ll have it fixed on never day. Finally, the 3^rd shop was off to Rusty’s place after my brother Jason’s suggestion.
Rusty is a pimp. After finally getting everything figured out, or should we say cleaned up from the other 2 shops mess… Rusty was able to tell me the problem and get the truck fixed and save me a good amount of money. Great job Rusty & team

Rusty’s is great, I own several cars, foreign and domestic. I couldnt own them if I didnt have Rusty’s asistance in repairing and servicing them. He also recommended me to great body shop C&L Auto Body which is down the street. Keep up the good work.

You can’t go wrong here. Rusty and Jose are knowledgeable mechanics that have rebuilt a lot of Mercedes Benz automobiles over the years, but he is not specific to MBZ at all. I’ve seen him do a good job on Saturn and Jaguar as well. He is inexpensive too. If you are looking for a Mercedes garage with an espresso bar and leather sofas in the waiting area, however, this is not your place.
