Please!!! Do Not waste your money here! I ordered the Buffalo Solider, and it is the worst looking $ 10 sandwich ever! Super disappointed in this local business. Soggy lettuce, and a poor excuse for bread. I could never sleep at night knowing how much I am getting over on people by charging so much. This place used to be good at one point, and I hope they can improve from this.

The acai bowls are extremely overpriced for what you get. It is the smallest acai I have ever gotten and they are $ 10! Samba Rock has acai bowls twice the size for a lower price. Just keep this in mind if you want an acai bowl.

I have been getting the yummy Acai Bowls for many years, each time feeling like they were a little over priced at $ 6.95 for a small (24 oz.) and $ 9.95 for a large (48 oz.).
I went there today and was completely thrown off that they doubled there prices and gave you less!
I won’t be going there again. truly a bummer!

THE best grilled cheese sandwich I have EVER had in my 60+ years is their Southwest Grilled Cheese! («chipotle pesto, cheddar cheese, sliced red onion, tomato and cilantro — grilled to perfection on sliced sourdough»). I kid you not. It’s a masterpiece!

We were visiting the area and decided to stop by this place. 3⁄5 of us are vegetarian and wow the sandwiches were amazing!!! I highly recommend the palm garden veggie panini. Just absolutely delicious! And I was splitting with my mother in law and they brought us the sandwich cut in half in two different plates. Made it super convenient for us! Definitely stop by here if you want a healthy and delicious lunch!

The food is alright. The pricing is a bit ridiculous. $ 11 for a sandwich with stale bread. Overall my experience there would not have been so bad had the employees not looked so miserable to be there. My wife tried calling several times but no one would answer. Would recommend this place only if your in the area and have time to kill.

My $ 10 reuben was about 30% overpriced. I should have checked the price before I called in the order. It was half an inch thick, with 3 thin slices of corned beef, and a negligible amount of sauerkraut. I enjoyed all two bites of it. Would have happily paid $ 7. Not sure why Unilocal lists this as a $.

I used to grab a good sandwich from this place a couple of times a month, but the service this past Sunday will keep me from returning.
ACKNOWLEDGE PEOPLE WHEN THEY’RE IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT!
I must have made eye contact with all four people behind the counter at least twice and you still ignored me. The older of the four looked at me twice and still felt moving the meat slicer was more important than talking to me.
You must not need the business.

This place is located where the old Piggy market used to be.
I love this place! I mainly go here for their sandwiches. I always get erikas, but I’ve gotten jacks before, and have had bites of Italian job and Reuben. Overall every sandwich I’ve had tastes pretty great. We will sometimes grab to go and eat it at hidden beach.
It’s located in the middle of a bunch of redwoods so eat outdoors on a sunny day, it’s gorgeous. They do have indoor seating too, with a huge aquarium at the doorway, which my kids love (but my kids can get a little loud so outdoors is better).

The stars I give our purely for the quality of food and the ambiance.
The service is absolutely terrible. I keep thinking that maybe it’s just the particular server I get but honestly this happened every time I went. Even if the place is totally deserted it will take 20 minutes to make a damn sandwich. Not only that but there are always like 5 – 7 people in the kitchen and they’re just taking their time and chatting. So annoying.
It’s really too bad because the food is tasty but the service sucks.

I’ve given the place about 10 chances to stop sucking. the kids that work here think it’s better to talk about which party they went to last night, or make their friends sandwiches before yours.
this last time, was told sandwiches would be ready in 5−10minites when I placed the order on the phone… only to have to ask them multiple times after 30 minutes where my food was. :/​
I will not be supporting this place any longer.

I LOOOOOVED this place when I was visiting Aptos/​Santa Cruz.
If I could remember, I think I got the panini-​styled basic breakfast burrito and it was so good. They split it in half for me but even one-​half of the burrito was filling for me. I don’t think I finished it and asked my boyfriend and his friend to finish it for me.
Now that I’ve been back home, I’ve always been craving for their breakfast burritos. Hopefully this first trip here isn’t my last.

I love the pressed sandwiches which they wait to put the avocado on, until after it’s pressed. The Bird of Paradise is so good. Their Tiger Salad is always a hit and now make my own versions when I go to a potluck. Always a hit. They also sell some fun wines. :-)
