I usually try to use local shops when I can, but the hours of business seem to prohibit it most of the time. Appomattox glass has supplied glass for me in the past, and they do good work. However, just like many other shops in Appomattox, they have hours that only the unemployed or contractors can use. They are even shorter than usual, closing at 4:30, on the dot, no exceptions. Even if you pull up at 4:32, they are gone. I just can’t physically make it there after my hour long commute from work. I guess I will have to get my glass from Lowe’s.
