Cole Salon and Spa

I always have such a great experience here. I always go to the same ladies. Ashley Parshley does my hair. I’ve been going to her for years and before she was at Coles, then I followed her here. She knows what I like and goes awesome cuts and foils. She’s fantastic with kids and kids cuts too! For my face, I see Kelly S. I usually do my brows and the classic or express facial. She is soooo nice and just had such a relaxing voice while she’s yanking out my brows I would highly recommend both of those ladies and also anyone at Coles.

I see Trisha, and she’s awesome. I usually bring in a picture of the hair color I’d like and she is always able to recreate that color on me. I appreciate a stylist that listens — and she does! I go in about 4x a year, and have loved every single color I’ve received. The salon itself is clean and the stylists are attentive. It’s not often that I have a couple of hours to myself (i’m a mom), but my time at the salon is always so lovely!

This salon is horrible. I initially went here to have a balayage coloring which cost me $ 100. It took her 2 ½ hours and basically my hair didn’t even change. So I called and told them I didn’t get what I had asked for and I would like a more experienced person to do it. So I came in for my second appt 2 ½ hours and it was another younger girl and she basically butchered my hair. She added way more blonde but it was super patchy and brassy in color so I called again and went back again. I spoke with 2 girls and they said my hair wouldn’t be able to get to the blonde I wanted after the first 2 girls said it wouldn’t be a problem at all. So I said lets just go back with it being shades of brown. After 3 hours my hair is now dark dark brown if not BLACK and has little tiny pieces of beige it looks horrible! I am 1 month from my wedding and my hair feels fried. I’m so upset that I ever even let these people touch my hair to begin with because its been a nightmare. I’m probably just going to have to fix it myself with a box color.

This review is for the nail salon, while my nails look nice, the overall experience was not pleasant at all. The technician cut my cuticles several times (twice on the same finger). For a place that labels themselves a spa, there was nothing spa like about it, I felt more like cattle being shuffled through. Typically when I have gotten a manicure, it include a lovely hand soak (to soften the cuticles), some lotion and a nice hand rub. I got none of these. Just nails slapped on and painted. The sanitary situation was also atrocious. The technician was pulling the tools out of a box, with no indication that they had been cleaned after the previous person. There is no way I would go back here.

I always have a pleasant experience here. My hair comes out looking (and smelling) fabulous! Everyone I come in contact with is friendly and cordial. I like that they have the sinks right at their stations, so you don’t have to go too far. They style your hair after they cut it, so you aren’t walking out the door with wet hair. The prices are reasonable and I’ve always been happy with how my hair turns out. Fantastic overall!
