SSRS specializes in classes for ages 2-​Adult in beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. We offer acrobatics, tumbling, jazz, tap, musical theatre, hip hop, ballet, pointe, lyrical, cheernastics and more!

SSRS has Regional and National award winning competitive dance teams that have been featured on Dance Mom’s and perform at Walt Disney World.

SSRS also has after school pick up available from our local elementary schools.

History

Established in 2009.

Caitlin Benedict started South Shore Rising Stars in Apollo Beach because she wanted to share her passion of dance with her local community. Caitlin began dancing at age four and continued through the years trying every possible style of dance. She competed in numerous local and national dance competitions throughout the New England area. She knew there was no opportunity in her home state, CT, so she decided to move to Florida at the age of 19 where she started teaching for local dance studios. She opened South Shore Rising Stars at the young age of 20 with a few students, we are now going into our 7^th season with hundreds of students!
