History
Established in 1999.
Matt has worked as a Master Barber in a variety of settings in PA, GA, IL and now NC over the past 15 years — from small shops to large shops and from basic «your daddy’s» barbershops to an upscale full service men’s salon and high-end barbershop on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. Matt also spent time as an Educator for American Crew men’s products from 2002 through 2004.

Matt left the corporate world in 1998 to pursue the art of barbering. Since that time, he has been honing his craft in all types of shops from small 2-chair traditional barbershops in Pennsylvania to the 8 chair full-service men’s salon that he managed in Alpharetta. Matt also worked as an American Crew Educator in both the Greater Atlanta Area and Eastern Pennsylvania, teaching salon staff about the benefits and uses of American Crew products for men as well as the American Crew method of cutting men’s hair. Matt and his family relocated to the Greater Raleigh in 2012 and Matt has spent the last 3 years getting to know the wonderful folks of the Triangle and building his business. He is very excited to be bringing that business to The Exchange and looks forward to continuing the revitalization of the art of barbering in beautiful downtown Apex. Matt’s specialties: Hot lather, straight-razor face shaves; current & classic men’s hair cuts; facials; stress-relief massage.
