Finance department will over charge you on the car even with a decent down payment and great credit. I’ve had multiple referrals tell me that they did not approve a 0% interest on the loan through Ford when they got 0% on their new car loan through a different dealership. Read all paperwork carefully as they tend to extend charges over and priced that should not be.
Service Department Review
Been here multiple times to fix issues with a 2013 Ford Fiesta. It seems to be transmission issue after transmission issue, I’ve had the transmission replaced multiple times only to have the new unit fail with 15,000 miles or so (automatic power shift). The car will completely shudder (even when gas pedal fully down) and almost stall when accelerating from a dead stop (seems like 1 – 3 gears have the most problems). I’ve made various appointments only to have them tell me it’s normal, when clearly it is not. Every time they state it’s normal I bring it to another dealership who tells me it has failed their test and it will be replaced under warranty. No idea why you can’t replace something that obviously is failing under warranty.

I bought my car at Robert Horne Ford about a year ago, and I’m sorry I did. I had a salesperson who badgered me when I bought the car and he told me people don’t know how to buy a cars. Then he said something loud enough for me to hear while rolling his eyes at the same time. Later, I went in for my first free oil change, and the service department had no desire to help, and I stood there while they all pretended to be busy. It seemed all the service personnel were standing around just talking to each other. About a week and a half ago, I took my car in again regarding some speakers that had a lot of static. I spoke to Scott, the service manager, and at first he said he didn’t notice anything wrong, then I suggested he listen to it with my IPod. He hemmed and hawed, (while stroking my back in the process, and yes, he did this), then finally agreed to take the car in the back to take a look at it. I left my IPod in the center console thinking it would be safe.
I was driving home when I noticed the radio playing instead of my IPod, and I never play the radio due to the advertisements. I looked immediately in the console and it wasn’t there. I know, it was dumb to put personal items in the car. I called Scott when I noticed it missing, and he immediately said his employees don’t steal, even though he was sitting in my driver’s seat when he saw me put it in the console. People think they may be getting good deals here, but when you add up items stolen from cars and the poor customer service, you get no deals at all. Do not go to Robert Horne Ford if you can go somewhere else. They are not honorable.

I brought my 2004 truck in to Robert horne ford for servicing… back in august… specifically engine problems. …after checking my truck the manager scott reported the truck also needed brakes… I of course. gave the go ahead… the cost of these repairs $ 7,804.41…Within 2 weeks the engine light came back on. and…the brakes pulled to the left… the repairs were made… and the additional cost was 936.18…
I drove the truck to emmsions and was very upset. to find .the truck failed… after nearly $ 9,000.00 in repairs and loss of working hours… my truck is undrivable as it is not registered. …

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. We stopped on a whim after getting air in the tires of the Hyundai. We are in the market for an F250 to pull out 5^th wheel. We saw one we like but we are not quite ready to buy, we had some towing and hauling capacity questions. Seriously — not a single person spoke to us, not on the lot and not in the building. Even the receptionist at the front desk did not look up from her computer to welcome us.
TERRIBLE customer service from the beginning. Aside from previous reviews regarding deception practices — avoid this place!

This was the best car buying experience that I have ever had, no back and forth just honest people getting the job done. I paid less for my new car than I thought and got more value than anticipated, Les was the best to work with and I will be back to purchase my next vehicle from them.

Lack of integrity this group. Refused to even address a Better Business Bureau complaint filed against them for deceptive and fraudulent advertising practices. Stay away from them.

No one ever returned my call when I left 2 messages with several salesman. I was ready to buy but Ford Dealers are a dime a dozen in Phoenix. moved on and bought from someone else. A King Ranch by the way

HORRIBLE, RUDE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I’ve been to this dealership about 5 times (including the purchase of the vehicle) and each time was a terrible experience. The service staff is completely unprofessional!!! I have tried multiple times to return, expecting great service and was disappointed EVERY time. Excel collision at Robert Horne is awesome, however! I will not be returning here! I would gladly drive an extra 10 – 20 miles to berge ford to avoid the frustration of this terribly run establishment! You would think with all of the bad reviews that something would be done to rectify this!

I saw a Ford F150 online @
. I called and was transferred to a gentlemen named Les. I asked Les about the truck and he told me to come down to look at the truck @ 4:00PM. Mind you this call took place at 12:30PM. The dealership is about 40 to 50 minutes away so I decide to get there early. I get there at 2:30PM. I ask for Les. I was told Les was wrapping up with another customer and he will be out in a few moments. My wife and I are sitting in the waiting area a total of 5 mins. Another gentlemen comes up and says the truck we were interested in has been sold but he could help us find another vehicle. WTF! What is there right minds make them believe I would be willing to work with them after YOU BLATANTLY lied to me. My wife and I grabbed our bottle of water and walked out immediately. Drove away and picked up a truck somewhere else. Moral of the story is never, ever treat future customers in the manner. We wont take it and I pray your future customer refuse to be treated that way as well.

Caution stay away at all costs this place is full of liars and thieves I went there to look at the Ford Mustang 2013 and I was looking to trade in my 2009 KIA which I’ve had for two and half years Louis was the salesman who generally was a nice guy his boss whose name I don’t remember was outside appraising the Kia All of a sudden all hell
broke loose they came out of the office claiming I’m lucky to be alive that the Kia was in a serious accident and he’s was not even sure if he could take it in trade but maybe he could give me $ 2000 for trade-​in Kelley Blue Book 7000 they never showed me the paper that they were looking at that claim the accident happened .the next day I contacted the dealership where I bought the Kia and hoped they would still remember me after speaking to them they said the car is clean never been in an accident and sent me a copy of the Carfax which showed the car was totally fine the funny thing was when I got home I check the Carfax on the mustang I had looked at and it showed that it was involved in an accident hitting a large animal

I have never been so disappointed with customer service in my life. I bought my car from Joe at Robert Horne Ford, he was great. He was excellent, great customer service, not your typical dreaded car buying experience. Since Joe was so great I thought their service department cant been too bad either!
The service department however is awful. I will never ever take my car to them nor refer anyone there!
I took my car in for an oil change, recall, and several other issues. One of the issues they could not duplicate because they are not allowed to drive fast enough, but they just wrote it off instead of asking me to drive it for them.
I also asked about the recall on the 2013 Ford Explorers. Keep in mind the recall is for a gas tank that can catch on fire upon impact with an ignition source. I also am 32 weeks pregnant and I am not putting my newborn in a car that can catch on fire! I was told that they were not replacing the parts unless I smell gas.
2 days later I get a letter from Ford telling me to take my car in for the recall. I make an appointment specifically for the recall and they say ok sure bring it in, we will repair it, it will take half the day. I take my car in, and 40 minutes later I get a call saying my car is ready and that its not leaking so they wont be replacing it. They said they don’t have the parts anyways so they ordered the parts but they are backorder until an unknown date.
So I call Ford Motor Company the next morning at 7:30 am and ask why they would send me a letter telling me to get the recall taken care of if there are no parts and the dealers are only replacing leaking gas tanks at this time. The girl at ford said that was BS and the dealership needed to fix my car and any other vehicle that comes in, she said its a safety recall, we aren’t just fixing whatever ones we choose. She called Robert Horne and told them to make the repairs.
So the service manager calls me from Robert Horne Ford around 8:15 am and miraculously the part they needed that they didn’t have yesterday suddenly appeared and was ready for my car to be repaired. I made another appointment for today and I asked for a courtesy vehicle since this will now be the 3^rd time my car has been there in 2 weeks. He says he will give me a vehicle, so I get there today and I am told that the shuttle will take me to the rental car place. Shuttle driver comes and gets me and there are 2 other guys. He drives the one guy 20 miles east of where me and the other guy need to go, so finally 45 minutes later I am at the rental car place where I am now responsible for the taxes and fees and the gas. How is that courtesy, had I known that I would be shuttled and now over an hour late for work I never would have accepted. Every other dealership a courtesy vehicle is one of theirs that you use for the day not a rental car.
I have never written a bad review of anywhere before, but this really is horrible customer service. They still currently have my car and I am wondering if I should take it to another dealership to make sure they really did the repair since I’ve been jerked around so much by them. We will never buy or take our car to this dealership again and I will be contacting Ford Motor Company to let them know about this dealership. Honestly I don’t know that I will ever buy a ford again because of this stuff.
And a minor side note, they never wash your car after you have it in for service. I have never been to dealer that doesn’t wash your car before returning it to you.

I went to this place to take a look at the Ford C-​Max Hybrid since it’s a new vehicle and I wanted to just learn more about it. It look a while for me to find a salesman, even though I talked to a guy through email and told them when I was going to come by. They were friendly and very low pressure. You can tell that they pride themselves on being honest and not charging people for extraneous items. They actually have a wall of shame where they post stickers from other dealers that have outrageous charges on them. I didn’t buy a car from them but not because of the dealership, but because I haven’t decided on the car I want yet. I would definitely go back to this dealer if I decide to get a Ford.

We own a 2012 Ford 250 and needed some assistance with a tailgate that was mangled by our fifth wheel hitch. It was DOA but the folks were very understanding and didn’t make any jokes til we left. Someday it might seem funny to us too, but anyway… terrific place and we will return, hopefully for normal maintenance.

This was the worst new car sales experience I have ever had in my life. I was overcharged in documentation fees and in the payout of my trade. It took months to get the money from them. I called and left messages and no one would call back. I was charged for a warranty that I did not ask for and didn’t realize I was paying for as they built it into the initial price of the car on the sales contract. I would never recommend them to anyone.
