My grandma paid $ 4k+ for a new A/C unit in Sept of 2015. She lived alone and trusted the work to be done correctly. When she passed away at the end of the year and we started the process of putting her house on the market, we had a general contractor tell us and show us the worst A/C install he’s ever seen. We found no condensation tub installed, all wires exposed, some parts missing, and small holes in the foam roof all over the surrounding area of the unit from rough install. We contacted ASAP and they gave apologies and assurance the work would be corrected and fixed«ASAP». Then a month later we check on the roof to see if the work was done as they said and to our surprise it had never been touched. Then we had to call again to get the same story. Horrible customer service. Unreliable technician. This company didn’t do their job correctly in the first place and an 84 year old women would have had severe damages on her roof if this situation wasn’t caught due to circumstances. After multiple calls and 2 months of trying to resolve our issues… They finally came through and honored their warranty and fixed what needed to be done. Waste of time and the whole situation angers me.

I have it on good authority that Melvin works here. Run, Run, Run Channel 3’s Gary Harper: I have a lead for you. We just spent the better part of $ 2,000 to fix the mess they created last year for what turned out to be a needless repair.

It has been a nightmare since day one. Please do yourself a favor and do business elsewhere. I had a new AC unit including an air handler installed in June of 2013. It took this company multiple trips to get the unit working correctly and it been very time consuming. Service calls and what they had to fix: 1. The air handler didn’t fit in my attic during installation, postponed installation a day. They also didn’t have enough PVC pipe to complete the install. 2. Unit failed to cool the home, replaced the thermostat. The tech took the«broken» Honeywell programmable thermostat with him and replaced it with generic brand. Didn’t stick around to test the units cooling ability either since it was late. 3. The unit didn’t cool my home the following day! Dispatched the same guy! According to the tech«they connected a wire on the outside unit to fix it.» They couldn’t show me what was done to correct the problem, or what caused it to begin with. 4. The air handler’s drip pan and condensation line failed to be properly installed and in result damaged the ceiling below the pan. Installer was sent back to fix the issue. 5. Sent a drywall guy out to inspect after a month of calls and a BBB complaint. Painted over the drywall stain from the water damage and called it fixed. I can still see the stain to this day. 6. Unit failed to heat my home. Determined the«heat wire» was not connected at the thermostat that was replaced by them on a previous call. 7. Unit continued to fail to properly heat the home during extremely cold days, frost on the outside unit. Contacted George Brazil to check the unit(Lost hope in ASAP at this point), power to the PCB for the defroster had never been connected. 8. Rust water has slashed on my newly painted home, staining the side. Turns out the issue is the condensation pan is full of rust due to incorrect installation. Needless to say, I have given up on this company and you should too. I have spent countless hours dealing with this company’s nonsense and spoken directly to the owner Wayne. They just don’t stand behind their installs. They subcontracted this installation out, and nothing good has come from it. Now I have to pay to get the drip pan replaced and the side of my home painted again. Spending more of my time and money on a poorly installed unit again. Stay away from this company. Its not worth the time or hassle.

Do NOT use this company!!! Complete scam artists. We bought a brand new unit and had to have them out one month later due to problems. This has continued for the last year and a half. We were told the warranty only covered the parts not the labor. This most recent visit they tried to tell us it would require a new blower to the tune of 475 in labor. Thankfully friend of a friend is a licensed technician. Gee turns out it was a 10 dollar relay and we were only charged $ 75. Unit running great now! Sidenote, the nice man that fixed our unit stated the last ASAP guy was smoking on our roof and throwing cigarette butts into our unit. Please beware of the company!!!

Worst company I have delt with in a long time. Completely scammed me. I wanted my thermostat checked out and ended up paying for more. When I called to ask why I was being charged for something that did not get repaired the lady on the phone refused to answer me. I would not suggest using this company.

I dealt with Roger on a Sunday in the middle of July and he was a complete class act and professional. My a/c was out, and despite already knowing that, Roger still attempted to troubleshoot the unit because I told him I was selling my house in the fall and didn’t want to invest a ton of money. None of his work arounds worked, so he gave me two prices for a new unit or to repair the part. Last year I had two companies quote me a price of $ 8k and $ 10k to replace entire unit, despite being in a completely helpless place, ASAP installed a new Trane unit for $ 3100 that same day and provided a warranty! Most of these guys seem like utter criminals, but with ASAP and Roger I knew I was getting an honest answer. Thank you!!!

Terrible management/service. The techs are nice but the company is terrible. I overpaid for our unit — I was desperate — it was July and ours went out. The unit didn’t work right from the beginning. I was told by another company that it was an installation problem not a unit problem. They would come out and band aid it until the warranty was expired then acted like they never heard of me. If I had time to do research I would have known not to use this company.

ASAP Air Conditioning is a major waste of time and money! The technician diagnosed the problem correctly then ripped me off on the price to repair: 2 start-up capacitors($ 55 each online) charged $ 170 a piece. 2 compressor saver caps($ 37 each online) charged $ 200 a piece. My top A/C overflow drains started leaking water the next day. I called them back out again, but after ripping me off for $ 800, ASAP wanted another $ 75 trip charge. I said no way in hell, you didn’t fix it right the first time. The original technician reluctantly came back and proceeded to flush my upper overflow drains with the garden hose. The bedroom side was successful, however on the kitchen side of our home, the hose was held too long and he flooded out our attic. It took several days to get a hold of the owner(Wayne) who eventually sent out a drywall guy. After the drywall guy told my wife and I he could make it look as good as the original ceiling, it took 3 trips on 3 separate mornings to repair. He overfilled the 10 foot seam with spackle, never sanded his repair or re-textured the ceiling. He then proceeded to use an entire quart of paint to repaint a 2 foot wide by 10 foot long area and told us wait till the paint dries it will match. We told the drywall guy to get out of our home, called Wayne to say we’ll never use him again and warn others to avoid his company. I ended up having to sand, re-texture, and re– paint the area myself. They should call this company«Thinking of Remodeling?» cause after they finish repairing your A/C you’ll have to!

Very Responsive AFTERHOURS … had a tenant struggling with AC issue all day; finally gave up at about 7pm on a Saturday night. Called 4 different AC/Heating companies before I hit ASAP. ASAP was answering, and arranged for someone to be there next morning(Sunday morning). Have an older AC unit; and past guys try to sell me a new one instead of just fixing it; but Alexander focused on the fix. I’m in California, so accepted my payment over the phone and emailed me receipt. My NEW tenant doesn’t have to suffer through another hot day. Professional, took time to explain things to me and warranty service for a year. These things never seem to happen Mon-Fri; so happy to be able to rely on them. Yeah ASAP
