History

Established in 2011.

The Pegnim & Ivancich Youth Foundation was established by Thomas M. Pegnim and Lisa E. Ivancich of Pegnim & Ivancich, LLP. Mr. Pegnim and Ms. Ivancich have been working together for over 10 years in Antioch and specialize in Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury. Years of fighting for their clients who are injured in the workplace has allowed them to become very connected to the community. An overwhelming need, especially in regards to youth, has become apparent in Antioch and its surrounding communities. Wanting to make an impact on those in need, Pegnim & Ivancich, LLP decidedly established the Pegnim & Ivancich Youth Foundation (PIYF). The PIYF received its determination letter from the IRS on June, 12 2011 establishing the foundation as a certified non-profit with tax-exempt status under section 501 © (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The PIYF is rapidly becoming a recognized organization within Antioch and the surrounding community due to its contributions to local youth.

Meet the Manager

Michael P.

Manager

Michael is the Executive Director for the Pegnim & Ivancich Youth Foundation (PIYF). Through the PIYF, Michael works very closely with the local community and East Contra Costa County. Michael diligently plans and manages events and projects throughout the year to support youth in our area. He is also responsible for attending various business events and networking opportunities to promote the foundation within Antioch and the surrounding communities.

Michael is currently expanding the outreach of the PIYF by learning the ins and outs of Grant Writing. Grant Writing is a lengthy and arduous process, but it will allow the PIYF to reach out to further communities seeking support year after year.

The Pegnim & Ivancich Youth Foundation has great aspirations for the future and the youth that it supports. Michael is ensuring that these goals become a reality and that the PIYF will become an established and recognized organization within our local and surrounding communities.
