My husband and I recently went to Hobin & Hobin for legal advice and help with the promissory note and deed of trust for our first home. Richard and Taylor Hobin were incredibly helpful in explaining the different steps involved in the process. Home buying can be such a stressful endeavor, but the team at Hobin & Hobin was incredibly kind and patient, talking us through all the details. I would absolutely recommend this firm to all of our family and friends.

I came to Taylor Hobin through a recommendation from another attorney who I greatly respect. She told me he was thorough and knowledgeable, this description was spot on. I came needing guidance on a relatively complex estate plan. He was patient, spending the time to answer all of my questions, but most importantly, he was open to my comments and suggestions. He helped craft an estate plan to best convey my wishes for my particular family dynamics. Without a doubt, I would recommend working with Taylor.

Went in with a pre nup already drafted and just needed a lawyer sign off. $ 150, ok. Met with Taylor and he suggested some modifications. Set up signing for next day. Taylor sends email 2 hous before meeting saying it’s now $ 400. Not ethical. No mention of additional $ 250 until right before our meeting.
Cons:
Taylor input was already covered in the agreement. Shows me he didn’t read it thoroughly.
Bait and switch of $ 150 to $ 400.
Pro:
No charge. Got what we paid for…
