Color Nails and Spa

I have been a customer here for about a year now and no one can beat their prices and customer service. I have experimented and tried other nail salons recently but no one can come close to Color Nails and Spa.
The staff is excellent and very friendly, always cracking a joke and giving the place a great vibe. Several times I have gone in to get my nails done and had just a rough idea of what I wanted and they deliver better than imagined. I would recommend Lily, she does an amazing job and super sweet.
Definitely the most bang for your buck. The wait is normally never long and they don’t up-​charge you on every little thing like some places. An all around great staff that provides great service.

So I’m always in search of the next best place to get my nails and feet done. I was sooooooo disappointed after patronizing this establishment. The man who did my feet was rushing and cut me really bad on my big toe. As a diabetic this is of great concern to me. He didn’t say sorry or let me take something off your bill he just carried on as if he didn’t see my toe was gushing blood. I will never return here! They need several lessons in customer service!

I just wanted a quick pedicure. It was the longest pedicure ever. He sat rubbing my feet forever, in a good outlook people enjoy, but I just wanted my feet scrubbed and painted so I could carry on with the day. The guy was more focused on the tv too.
I’ll stick to my normal place next time

Convenient location, clean comfortable close to shopping if you need to pop in to get a nail fixed while running errands works out perfect! For the most part they are fast and inexpensive and my nails are always flawless however, watch out for the up charge on pedicures! I wanted the same color on my fingers and toes and was told no problem we can do that. However, I was not aware there was a $ 20 charge to do gel on toes. I ended up paying 45 $ for a basic pedicure.
Sally does a good job for waxing I like to go to her for legs. Overall good spot. Saturday and Sunday is the busiest so go in early before the rush! If you want a wax, call ahead and request Sally.

Went in today for a pedicure since this is my sister-in-law’s fave place. They did an awesome job, i got the sea salt pedi and my feet feel very soft. Would definitely come back or recommend them to anyone else.

This place has the worse customer service !! My nails were done and dry and it took almost 30 minutes for someone to help me so I could pay ! I could have walked out !!
And now I am back a day later because a nail broke, ONE nail and it’s taking them 45 mins !!
NEVER AGAIN!
And the pedi’s suck !!

If I could give less then 1 star I would. It took 2 hours and 15min for me and my aunt to get a pedicure manicure. We were told 5 minutes. I assumed 5 minutes till we would receive service. No 5 minutes till we got to sit in cold water then 30 – 45 minutes before anyone even talked to us. Finally a man started on my aunt while I sat there longer only to see the women next to me who was seated after me get serviced. I was super irritated by this point then the guy helping my aunt started jumping between her and 3 other women.
I paid for a callus remover that did not work and the massage was about two seconds.
My aunts polish chipped by the end of the day and mine was chipped by the next morning. I will post a picture.
I asked for her not to buff my finger nails they are thin. Yep she buffed them while I was talking to my aunt then I let her finish that hand and asked again asked her not to buff my other hand and explained why. Yes she tried and I have broke 3 nails.
I will never go here again.
It was also very dirty they did not let the pedicure chairs run for even 2 minutes with cleaner.
To top it off it was $ 66 for the 2 of us.

Everyone is very friendly and make you feel comfortable when you go in. Nails always look great. Only thing is the wait period is sometimes too long. But, I’m a satisfied customer and will keep coming back!

I have been coming here since the beginning of the year and I’m always a satisfied customer!!! From the polite service when you walk in to the end getting a good pedi and gel manicure!
The owners (Danny & Sally) are sweet, funny and very personable!
My Gel mani is always done by Sally
And Guin has done my recent pedi and boy he gets in there with his massage –my favorite part! ;))
Lastly, I work in the city and I always try to make it back to get serviced before they close, they have never turned me away or complained when I get there 30 min before closing time!

Short and sweet — made appointment and been waiting in cold water chair for 30 minutes and counting…

The place was OK, not the best. We didn’t have an appointment so it was kinda a long wait. Overall the experience was OK probably won’t go back, they do take cash/​credit/​debit and they have an ATM inside.

Avoid this place.!!
Just had a pedicure done It was by far the worse I ever had. The lady cut my toe nails to far back did not clean my toes cuticles and did 3 coats of polish that did not dry in over 5 min, she applied color polish all over my skin, I kept asking her to clean it up by she did not see it. very unhappy. I will not to use this place for any reason.

Calvin is my guy! He does amazing acrylics. I ask for him every time. Great prices, too. When I am in Bwood, this is my spot. Enjoy, xo!

Holly did such a great job on my nails. I really appreciate that she listened to what I wanted. The mud pedicure was really nice left with my feet feeling like silk.

I try new places and I always come back to color nails. nails are always on point for such a reasonable price. love!

I only gave an extra star because I really liked the lady that did my toes here… Let’s back up…
Today my girlfriend and I went to visit my grandmother but desperately needed to get our toes done before all nail sops were closed so we decided to go here before heading home to the El Cerrito area.
Everything was good until the lady working on my girlfriend started painting her nails. Seven coats of our own color later they looked redic. I asked the lady why she did so many coats she then spoke to another lady in their language and I asked again why did you do so many coats. Each time she went over it the paint looked more and more blochy.
Needless to say she argued with me and I asked that the nail lady that did mine do my girlfriends.
We will not be returning…

My whole family (4 daughters, niece, mom and dad) have been coming here regularly for years. The new ownership is wonderful, very kind and patient with my two VERY elderly parents (80 and 90 years old respectively).
In addition, they take very good care of me. And I need all the pampering I can get my hands on! Totally recommend the clay mask pedicure! Ahhhh…

Ask for Anna, Sally or Danny. The new management is great! I love my nails and the price is a little cheaper than other places nearby :) it’s sad to see some people haven’t had good experiences here but I personally have never had a complaint with any of the three workers I just named. Def recommend trying this place.

Worst mani/​pedi ever. went in with a picture of what I wanted. The lady couldn’t paint a straight line to save her life. Not my normal salon but went here as a desperate move. Needed an mani/​pedi for a party only place open. not only did I leave with a shit job of paint job. they started chipping in 2 days. Very expensive for what I got. Not only was the paint job horrible and not last, I think the infection in my toe was the best part (NOT!) upon advertising the fact of my infection to friends and family, this apparently is a known fact. Will be reporting to the cosmetology board and dropping by with my medical bill for the Dr bill as well as the receipt for my antibiotics… totally disgusted. not just with the infection but with the service as well

The place seems to get better and better!!! I see the low star rating but for some reason it’s always full of beautiful people… Great Job you guys… it is evident the place is doing great.
